The Hawthorne Hideaway

My stay was excellent at the Hawthorne Hideaway. The neighborhood was pleasantly quiet and the bed decently firm. The quiet night of sleep was even better considering how close it is to numerous restaurants and shops. The kitchenette and bathroom were well equipped and the overall furnishings nice. There is a ton of natural light with some great skylights. Street parking was close and easy too. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling with a partner or solo.

We were so comfortable and loved the quiet location within walking distance to the shops and restaurants.

Very clean and comfortable. There was no coffee and cream as was listed. Only had one roll of single ply toilet paper. Did not have enough toilet paper for stay. Please upgrade toilet paper to two ply. It would be nice to have dish towels in the kitchen and hand towels in the bathroom. Bath towels need to be replaced. Close to restaurants and bars. Appreciated driveway parking.

Lovely launching pad for a Portland and area adventure. Lots of places within walking distance and short public transit downtown. For a single open space, it felt very roomy, and the side covered porch was a nice extension. We had all the amenities we needed, and street parking was never an issue. Highly recommended for an individual or couple wanting to feel like a local in the awesome Hawthorne neighbourhood.

We had a wonderful stay and the kids LOVED playing the arcade games. Thank you for such a great house for our family to gather. We will definitely come back.
