Stylish Craftsman in the Heart of PDX

Let's see ... where do I begin? We arrived late and found the porch light on, a welcoming note and gift, a visitor's guide with house info and local recommendations, and a stunning home with everything we needed to settle in. And did I mention there were fresh flowers everywhere?

Jim’s place was perfect for our group of four and absolutely charming! It’s a well-appointed, historic home in a lovely neighborhood, just a couple of blocks from great coffee. The beds were super comfortable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend checking this place out!

We had a really comfortable stay here and it felt easy from the moment we arrived. Parking was no problem at all. We found street parking pretty quick and it felt safe and simple.The place itself was super clean and nicely maintained. Not just surface clean, but like everything was cared for. You can tell Jim and Susan pay attention to the details and it doesnt feel like some random rental.What really stood out was the thoughtful welcome. There was a customized greeting card, fresh cut flowers in a vase on the table, a bottle of California wine, and a pack of Oregon chocolate I could bring home to share with my kids. Those little touches honestly touched my heart.There were also lots of books to read and even board games in a drawer. We didnt have time to play but it was nice to see. The decor was great too, framed pictures, live plants around the house, and just a warm vibe overall.Would defintely stay again and I would reccomend it to friends.

Excellent place, beautifully appointed, really well equipped with very good appliances, dishes, etc. it’s in a wonderful neighborhood.
