Lovely home and great location. We were disappointed that there was no working fireplace. A fireplace was listed in the accommodations and in a photo for the listing. That was disappointing.

Wonderful property nestled in the woods but still close to amenities / golf course. Rarely saw another person and certainly didn't see or hear neighbors. The house is well equipped and stocked with supplies and cookware. Beds are comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze. We loved the location, access to the boat launch and the clubhouse/pool. The owner was available within minutes and helped us navigate the experience before and after. highly recommend!

We could not have asked for a better experience with your beautiful home. Everything we could possibly have needed was provided. The beds were extremely comfortable, and a tv in each bedroom was appreciated. Having Netflix was a great bonus! Loved the large, comfy sectional. The whole house was so clean, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the towels were nice and fluffy. We used the passes to the pool, and spent an afternoon cooling off in the beautiful pool. The screened porch was one of our favorite spots. Beautiful, spacious, comfortable - perfect for our visit to one of our favorite places, Galena. Thank you for sharing your home!

We had a great stay here! This is a lovely house in a beautiful wooded area. It was very comfortable for our family of 4. Everyone had their own space and the living room/dining/kitchen area was also great. We enjoyed using the Owner's Club pool and facilities. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Galena!

We spent Easter weekend here and really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. Lovely views in every direction. The house was very comfortable, spotless and filled with extra touches that made our lives easier (we especially appreciated the brand-new kitchen sponge!). We checked out the Owners' Club to play some ping-pong, pool and foosball. Thanks for sharing your home!

This was one of the easiest bookings I’ve ever done with VRBO! I messaged Howard with several questions before & after booking and he always responded quickly and was very helpful and informative about things in the area and never made me feel like I was bothering him. The house was like the pictures and perfect for our 3 adults and 2 teenagers…..very clean and well supplied……we did fix breakfast one morning and the kitchen was well supplied…..we were 1 mile from the little store in the territory and a couple miles from the clubhouse which Howard had 6 passes provided with the rental…..the teens liked going there to swim and shoot baskets in the gym…… Check out was one of the easiest we’ve ever had! Basically we packed our stuff and locked the door on the way out!! Which was great!!! We really appreciated not having to strip beds etc….. and start laundry!!! We would definitely go back to this home and highly recommend Howard as being super easy to communicate with!!! Was a very relaxing 4 days!!! 5 star all the way!

What a lovely stay we had. We planned a girls trip to Galena. We found this to be a perfect location! The owners thought of everything you might need! They provide wonderful shampoo, body wash, toys for the children to play with, games for the adults, box fans, high chairs, and everything in the kitchen and the house is clean and well organized. The bedrooms were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

During a girls trip to Galena, spent three nights at this beautiful property in a wooded area near town. The fall colors were stunning. Home was well equipped. Was super clean! Disappointed the tub/jacuzzi didn’t work but otherwise everything was perfect! We will come again!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property in the Galena Territory. The location was in a nice, secluded location in the trees and had plenty of space for our group of 6 for a Father’s Day weekend gathering. We really enjoyed outdoor living spaces of the deck and screened in porch. It was great to have a nice grill to use for one of our dinner meals. Howard (the property host) was very responsive and access to the property was simple. We would highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a Galena getaway!

I chose this property for the porch and for the beautiful view of the woods. It was everything we expected. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and plenty of common space the house was bigger than the 3 of us may have needed. I really liked the privacy, the space, and outdoor areas, it was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed and even provided coffee! The bathrooms also had lots of extras including shampoo/conditioner, lotion etc... This place was better stocked than other VRBO's we've stayed at. There is so much to do in Galena. Next time we go I want to stay longer. This was a great weekend and the perfect place to connect with my mom and my sister!

We had a wonderful stay in this home. It was very comfortable and mostly very clean. There were stains on the couch and what looked like dirty rivulets of water dried on the bathroom and kitchen walls, otherwise everywhere else was very clean. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook.

Upon arrival, we noticed black/brown items on the carpet and floors on the first level of the house. Looking more closely, we realized that they were roly polie bugs. Most were dead, but others were living. Luckily we found a vacuum cleaner and broom in the house. We spent the next 45 minutes cleaning up the bugs and doing so each morning and whenever we saw them. My friend wanted to use the jetted tub on the first floor, but decided against it because of the bugs. Quite unnerving thinking about the bugs all over the first floor of the home. Other than that, everything else was wonderful...well except the bed pillows are very hard. Wish I could add pictures here.

The property has a lot of potential but needs updating, particularly bathrooms which have very outdated fixtures and sink heights. Cleanliness was an issue in the bathrooms and kitchen (sticky floors) and in the screened in porch. Driveway has serious pothole issues.

This home met all of our expectations and more!It was very clean and had a well-stocked kitchen.It was in a very peaceful location with wonderful a wonderful wooded lot.Our host was great answering all my questions in a timely manner.We would definitely rent it again!

My family of 5 spent one night at this home the evening before skiing at Chestnut Mountain. We ate dinner in downtown Galena as well. The home was perfectly located between Chestnut and downtown. The home was clean, comfortable, and nestled in the woods. Highly recommend this home. We would have liked to use the screened in porch, but it was too cold to use the screened in porch. The kitchen had everything needed. The beds were comfortable. We will stay again.

We were 2 couples and the house is ideally set up for privacy, with a queen bedroom on each floor. Kitchen is well stocked. House is built into a hillside and we saw deer and many woodland residents. Host is very responsive. Very pleased with our accommodations.

This house was perfect for our family - 5 adults. It was situated in the trees, so we had the feeling of being in the woods while just a short distance to everything. The house was exceptionally clean, and the layout was good for together time while allowing for retreat. As we like to cook together, it was wonderful to have a well stocked kitchen. We could play games on the table, watch movies and cook while still being able to talk to each other. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the bedrooms a good size. It is close to several of the walking trails in the Territories, and a short mile from the Country Store if we needed something. Howard was very responsive and answered several questions I had very quickly. This could definitely become part of our post holiday traditions! We loved it!

This well-priced home was airy with lots of windows surrounded by trees with three nice-sized bedrooms and 2 full baths. It's in a beautiful area with no close neighbors but is still not far from Galena. The kitchen had all we needed to make a simple meal and the sheets and towels were all fresh and white. The only caution is that this is not a home for private conversations, as the walls are not well-insulated, and anyone can hear anything that anyone else is saying. That said, we would stay again! The owner was super accommodating and quick to respond to messages. Check in was simple and check out was equally easy.

We had a lovely stay in this well-appointed home. The bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of light, and the bathrooms had wonderful amenities (soap, bath wash etc). The kitchen had all you would need. We loved the deck and the great screened-in porch. Howard was wonderful to work with and responded promptly with great info about the area when we had a personal car issue. We were able to bring our dog, and it is a great location for a pet. Nice front lawn, and the house is located on a cul-de-sac, so walks are convenient and safe. Would definitely stay again.

The home is beautiful and outrageously comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed to make a meal or serve food with. Three bedrooms and all of the beds were very comfortable. The house is only about a ten to twelve minute drive from Galena, and it was just a perfect place to stay.

We have stayed in many rental properties and I would rate this as one of the best in our experience.Everything was thought of, from crisp, clean linens to a high-quality hairdryer (!), toiletries. and blackout curtains for comfortable sleeping. Communication from the host was outstanding as were house instructions. We would love to return for a longer stay very soon.
What a wonderful property, nestled in a woodsy cul-de-sac area of Galena Territories. The hosts created a wonderful, comfortable, and very welcoming experience for our party of four and one night stay. The house was immaculate and very well appointed. This was one of the easiest bookings I’ve ever done with VRBO! I messaged Howard with several questions before & after booking and he always responded quickly and was very helpful and informative about things in the area and never made me feel like I was bothering him. The house was like the pictures and perfect for our 3 adults and 2 teenagers…..very clean and well supplied……we did fix breakfast one morning and the kitchen was well supplied…..we were 1 mile from the little store in the territory and a couple miles from the clubhouse which Howard had 6 passes provided with the rental…..the teens liked going there to swim and shoot baskets in the gym…… Check out was one of the easiest we’ve ever had! Basically we packed our stuff and locked the door on the way out!! Which was great!!! We really appreciated not having to strip beds etc….. and start laundry!!! We would definitely go back to this home and highly recommend Howard as being super easy to communicate with!!! Was a very relaxing 4 days!!! 5 star all the way!

Howard and his family provided a wonderful place for our family and dog (Aussie) to get away for a couple of days. We were celebrating an early 40th anniversary one week before our daughter returns to college. I can't tell you what a great time we had this past week. He responded in such a timely manner to all our questions. From check-in to exit Howard insured that our stay would go well. The place is in a beautiful wooded secluded setting, yet close to Galena and all resort amenities. It was nice to get away and have the conveniences of home, that's what this place provided.

We were very impressed with this property. My sisters and I were in the Galena area for a short get-away. Even though there were a couple hiccups when we arrived, Howard was an excellent host, very quick to respond and everything was taken care of promptly. The Galena area is beautiful and we would definitely return to the area as well as to this property!

We had a lovely stay in this well-appointed home. The bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of light, and the bathrooms had wonderful amenities (soap, bath wash etc). The kitchen had all you would need. We loved the deck and the great screened-in porch. Howard was wonderful to work with and responded promptly with great info about the area when we had a personal car issue. We were able to bring our dog, and it is a great location for a pet. Nice front lawn, and the house is located on a cul-de-sac, so walks are convenient and safe. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful property nestled in the woods but still close to amenities / golf course. Rarely saw another person and certainly didn't see or hear neighbors. The house is well equipped and stocked with supplies and cookware. Beds are comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze. We loved the location, access to the boat launch and the clubhouse/pool. The owner was available within minutes and helped us navigate the experience before and after. highly recommend!

Our family enjoyed relaxing in this cozy house with all the amenities close to all attractions. It was nice waking up to the driveway completely snowplowed. Would suggest leaving bag of salt on porch incase of ice on walkway. The house is conveniently located for easy access to main road but yet secluded for privacy. Would recommend.

The home is beautiful and outrageously comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed to make a meal or serve food with. Three bedrooms and all of the beds were very comfortable. The house is only about a ten to twelve minute drive from Galena, and it was just a perfect place to stay.

This was a Great place to stay when in Galena. It is very Clean and has all you need to make your stay a wonderful experience. They clearly keep their guests in mind - great communication; last minute questions answered ASAP; early check-in/late check-out accommodated; coffee, games, Band-Aids, most forgotten items (toothpaste, etc.) available - and EVERY TV fully equipped with popular streaming apps and channels. This home is phenomenal choice for just one couple or many - THANK YOU!!
