The whole place was wild Wasn’t able to check in until 10:00. Had to call on the phone to get a clerk. Room wasn’t very clean Partying in the parking lot Pool area going strong at 10:00+. Way overpriced for accommodations Just needed a place to get off feet and a shower

1. Exterior areas were dirty. Dining chairs were outside rooms in walkways where people sat smoking and did so till 3am in the morning. People left garbage outside doors 2. We rented a room that was advertised as having a kitchenette so I packed food to cook for dinner and breakfast. There was nothing in the kitchenette to cook with or to eat with, not even a cup to heat water in the microwave for coffee. I called the desk. They wanted $49 to use a cooktop, plates and silverware. I’ve been to 67 countries and 48 states and never had a kitchenette with nothing in it. 3. The toilet flushed then ran, then wouldn’t flush. By this time it was late and we were exhausted and the smokers were making noise so we just tried to sleep. 4. For $116 plus tax this was the worst night we ever had on the road. The front of the place looked ok, but after checkin we had to pull around the back of the property and it was scary. Two people had piles of clothes on the walkway and were sitting on the cement smoking. Guys were hanging around doing nothing. If we weren’t pushed for time and needed to get off the road and rest we would’ve driven away. 5. The guy that checked us in was okay and the room looked okay. The bed was clean. But that didn’t make up for the fact that the room had a lingering odor of smoke and the fact that the kitchenette was useless which is really a misrepresentation of what we assumed we were renting.

After a long trip we got checked in But the card door lock did not work We yave to go to the front desk twice before sending someone in to help us Other wise its good

Parking was ok but I didn't feel it was secure The building's exterior lights were strobing the entire stay.

It is always a pleasure to stay at the Red Roof/Hometown Studios in Bordentown. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, the pool is always clean and sparkling. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that one of the older male staff members took it upon himself to come out to the parking lot when my friend came to visit and announce that he cannot extend our stay after the current night due to the other person in my room being on a do not rent list. He and I were not aware of such list nor were we told that he was added to same. Our previous stay they made us leave at 5pm with no refund for the night which at 30 weeks pregnant was very difficult. During that stay we were with my aunt so we assumed since him and I stay so often it must have been her on the list. To our surprise, it was in fact not my aunt, but him on the list. We never caused a scene or any problems during our stays, so the cause of him being on such a list is a little confusing. I just think the staff, especially the one male that has the issue with him, should have been more professional & came to him, or even us, privately, to let us know our limitations and if this is a permanent rule/removal because we in fact do enjoy staying there. It is affordable and the most comfortable in the area. I also feel as though we should also have an opportunity to understand what caused him to be placed on this do not rent list, and if there is something that can be done to change it.

Poor water pressure and toilet kept running unless you took the lid off and fixed it inside after every flush. The room didn't even have hand soap. The heat stunk every single time it came on. we liked that there was a pool but when we got to the hotel the pool was salt water and extremely dirty and was closed on the second day of our stay and was still closed when we left. We were very disappointed the hotel claimed to have a kitchenette in every room, what we had was a hood fan with no stove, a microwave and fridge and if you turned on the microwave ant the tv the power would go off. we rented 2 rooms for 1 week for my wife and i and our 4 adult children we had to be moved twice before we finally had a room because of mold and insects. at night there were many people in the parking lot drinking and doing drugs which made it very uncomfortable .and to top off all this misery when my 21 yr old mentally disabled son woke up covered in bug bites ,instead of addressing the issue management called the police and told us to leave .i attempted to speak to the managers about the issue and they all said it was above them and wouldn't tell me whom to speak to , i have never written a review before but i thought i needed to, to warn people about this horrendous hotel.

The room was recently renovated, clean and fairly priced. People booking this property should know that the hotel has a large number of long-term guests, including families, who use the surrounding parking lot as their backyard.

We stayed for the weekend, staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The updated rooms were nice. The bathrooms can use an update but was ok. Parking spots should have room numbers on them. Our spot kept being taken in the evening when we would get back from dinner.

This hotel, has long term stay occupance and they are everywhere! Early in the mornings they are sitting outside smoking and talking loudly! Late at night they are doing the same thing! We did not get much sleep! They were women and children also living there and they were toys all over the parking lot! We found spiders in out room! We will not be staying there again and do not recommend it!

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We ended up checking out early and paying for another hotel because it was so disgusting and loud.

Overall stay was good, can be better if it was more clean

It's dirty, I had roaches in the room, and inside of the refrigerator. And you can't get to speak with the manager at any time. I had to check out because of the roaches, noise and also because I didn't feel safe as,a couple of times the smell of Marijuana was all over.

People staying were very loud. The room smelled of dirty animal pee, the fire alarm was covered in plastic from a previous guest.

It was an ok experience. I'm not a high maintenance person so the motel got the job done and since we were at an amusement park, sleep was all we needed and that's what we got. You can tell thatost people live there but they're very kind and respectful "neighbors" lol. Would visit again, especially since it 20mins to both 6flags and Sesame Place. My only complaints were that the TV was really weird and the light in the bathroom went out.

For this to be a sudden stay at a low rate, the hotel was pretty decent. I've stayed here before years ago and was disappointed, the upgrades and touch up looked nice. There could be more upgrades, but for the price and urgency. It was great.

The first room smelled like someone had just finished smoking in it. The desk person kindly switched me to another one, which was better. Until the people next to me spent all night screaming at each other and I could hear every word. Spare yourself. I have stayed here before and it was equally full of people who cannot keep their drama to themselves. It is also so full of people smoking pot that you can get a contact high walking through the parking lot. Never again.

We usually stay at the other one, Red Roof Inn, and it’s pretty good, but this place wasn’t all that clean, the room wasn’t ready at check in time and there are no usb ports in the room. Not going back to this one.

Overall the room was good didn’t like where my room was located (right in front of the steps) it sound like people were in and out my room all night it was a good spot to rest for the night

It was a horrible stay & experience.. I had to ask for a different room..The first room was dirty, noisy & cold...Hair in the sink, the table that was in there was filthy...I was placed in the middle of families who lived at the hotel, permanently...The hotel was a pet friendly, so of course i almost stepped in a huge pile of nasty watery pooped, that was at the top of the steps..The only nice thing i have to say about this place, the first desk didn't give me a hassle switching rooms...I would never come here again, even if i didn't have a choice....Oh forgot to mention a bug in the corner of the new room & a smell...I'm checking out & checking into a 3 star hotel with satisfaction written everywhere...

Lazy staff. Do Not recommend staying here. Residents aren’t too great, either.

Everything about this booking was a mistake I would like part of my fee refunded, the room conditions and the room itself was in unsatisfactory working condition and still was given to us to check in to with no choice of changing rooms or any other option able from the staff
