We like this place! The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen has everything you'd need, and the bathroom has a jet tub! The very cozy family room has a fireplace and Roku TV. The location is very good, clean, and quiet. The trail entry is about 50 yards away from the house. Recommend!

My friends and I were in town for a bachelorette weekend and had an amazing stay! The house was easy to access, clean and perfect for what we needed! Everything was well labeled with detailed instructions so we had no confusion! There were extra supplies provided in the bathroom and kitchen for a few item we forgot. Overall 10/10! If and when I come back to Galena I willl absolutely stay here again!

The neighborhood is charming, quiet, and scenic. The house is immaculate with everything you need to cook a meal, have drinks, relax or go exploring. I didn't realize it came with a club house pool and much more! The beds are sooooo comfortable. The wildlife is fun to watch. Minutes from town but you feel like you are out in the country.

We had an amazing stay at Sarah’s. There is nothing she hasn’t thought of. Beds were comfy, sheets we newer. Refrigerator had all the things you hate to buy because your not going to take them home with you like ketchup and mayonnaise, bandaids, wood for fire pit. Everything was clean. Bathrooms where in good shape. The jacuzzi tub was amazing. My grandchildren loved it. Easy to communicate. We didn’t go to the pool but she had owners passes if we had wanted to. We did cook breakfast and several dinners. Everything you need was in the kitchen. Even makings for s’mores and roasting utensils too. We made s’mores 3 times. WiFi worked great and Netflix and the roku were easy. The only thing we had trouble with was the thermostat. We were there in 80+ days and the upstairs was hot. We did adjust the thermostat but in the middle of the night it would reset to economy mode. We did try to figure that out to no avail. Keeping it set to cool off the upstairs which worked fine but than the downstairs was chilly. Regardless we had a lovely stay and we plan to visit again and stay at Sarah’s. I highly recommend staying. Sarah’s place is fantastic! We have been to Galena many times I highly recommend it and stay at Sarah’s. My family all gave it a 10+ and they are very opinionated.👍😊

Loved everything about our stay here in the territories. The place was spacious for 4 people, well maintained and very clean. We took advantage of the screened in porch. Sarah, our host was very fast to respond and accommodating. Such a lovely little place. Our only regret was not having more time. Definitely recommend!

We did our annual girls weekend here and was absolutely so peaceful and beautiful! We went to Galena for a little bit, but spent most of our time at the house. They had everything there for us even the games. At night, the sky was beautiful all you could see were the stars! And it’s very spacious. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will definitely be back 🤗

So clean, comfortable, charming, and guest friendly. Things were labeled throughout the house for ease of guest use. Great layout, comfortable beds, and comfortable common area. Sarah even had an area of travel items for use if you left yours at home. We saw beautiful wild turkeys in the back yard! We loved that the home is dog friendly, however the place was so clean, you wouldn’t know that dogs had ever been in there. We would come back to this home again for sure! Just know the amenities section of home manual says there are 6 key cards for owner’s club and there are currently 5 key cards. We thought we had maybe lost one and spent some time looking for additional key card. Thanks so much for the use of your home Sarah! We really appreciate it.

Very nice property and location. One issue was listing stated there was a grill; the grill was more like a small hibachi, which was dirty AND there was no propane to power it. I had no problem cleaning the grill to use it, but when we called the manager, we were told to go get our own fuel for the grill…not cool. We had brought some steaks to grill and it kind of ruined our dinner plans. If you don’t have a grill, just say so. I could have brought my own portable grill, but if youlist it, provide it.

Our stay was wonderful! The property was so comfortable! The decorating and the small touches where amazing! You could see a zillion stars at night. Everything was labled clearly and the house was spotless! We will be back!

Great house, loved all the little helpful notes throughout the house. One of the pictures made it look like there was a grill on the deck but there was not, very minor disappointment because there was a mini one in the storage closet. Very quiet neighborhood, excellent experience, would definitely stay again.

The home was the most organized and best stocked rental we have stayed at. There was “extra” consumables, general OTC meds, and utensils.Nearly everything has either a small, easy to read label or instruction or a QR code that opens a video or manual. It is impressive how much thought was put into viewing the home from a guest’s perspective.The home’s cleanliness was very good. The corners and under beds were all clean, it was refreshing.

The house at first seemed lovely and well organized. We found later that it could really use a deep clean as being in a pet friendly vrbo has never upset my allergies before but this one it was hard to sit on the couch or touch the bedspread without getting itchy. The host did ask if she minded interrupting our vacation to drop by and leave something for the house. We thought it was intrusive but figured it couldn't be avoided so we agreed. She ended up not coming, but then the day that we departed our check out time was 11 am. At 11:12 we had our luggage packed up and were checking off items on her "check out list" stripping beds, etc. A woman pounded on the door, then came in yelling that check out was at 11 am. My husband said something like, I'm sorry we'll be about 10 minutes. My daughter was terrified and my son asked why she was so angry. We didn't have much wifi in the Galena territory, so I didn't see her email, VRBO message and voicemal until we had already left and were almost in Elizabeth IL. The same woman that came in the house and yelled called and wanted to know what the delay was and wanted to know when we were able to leave, and that check out was 11 and that she has a cleaning team standing by. My husband called back and explained that we had left a while ago and were gone by11:30 just like we told the cleaning lady we would be. She then sent us a bill from her fictitional cleaning team for 20 for being 30 minutes late. Dont stay here

Love this place! Looks small when you come up to it but when you walk in you are already upstairs, a lovely staircase that leads you down to the family room and kitchen! Great bathrooms and a nice screened in porch! Will stay here again! Thanks!

Highly recommend this property! Our stay was wonderful. The house is clean, cozy, and comfortable. It’s perfect for a girls weekend! The owners have thought of all the little things (e.g., bandaids, extension cords for the outlets next to the bed, board games, extra blankets, fully stocked showers, etc.). The house is nestled in a lovely wooded area with lots of greenery. It is a quick drive from downtown Galena. There aren’t blinds on the windows in the living room, so just don’t watch any scary movies before your stay and it’ll be just fine ;). You can’t go wrong with this pick!

It was enough space for 6 girls! If you wake up to the sun then it might be a problem. She has the house very well organized. And the master bed was sooooo comfy and the shower was amazing never wanted to get out.

We only were at the house for a single night, but everyone in our group commented how they wished we could stay for a longer period. The house is a ~20min drive into the heart of Galena. Also it is deceptively bigger than what appeared. It was cozy, super clean and very accommodating. For a small group this is an excellent spot.

Wonderful place to stay for my daughter’s wedding. Awesome screened in porch. The bedroom listed with two beds only has one with a blow up in closet. Other than that, it was amazing!

We loved our stay at this place. It was nice and intimate for us and our friends, but super close to the downtown area. I loved the check-in process, it was made easy by the hosts and they were on top of communication with us.

Very nice property and location. One issue was listing stated there was a grill; the grill was more like a small hibachi, which was dirty AND there was no propane to power it. I had no problem cleaning the grill to use it, but when we called the manager, we were told to go get our own fuel for the grill…not cool. We had brought some steaks to grill and it kind of ruined our dinner plans. If you don’t have a grill, just say so. I could have brought my own portable grill, but if youlist it, provide it.

The house at first seemed lovely and well organized. We found later that it could really use a deep clean as being in a pet friendly vrbo has never upset my allergies before but this one it was hard to sit on the couch or touch the bedspread without getting itchy. The host did ask if she minded interrupting our vacation to drop by and leave something for the house. We thought it was intrusive but figured it couldn't be avoided so we agreed. She ended up not coming, but then the day that we departed our check out time was 11 am. At 11:12 we had our luggage packed up and were checking off items on her "check out list" stripping beds, etc. A woman pounded on the door, then came in yelling that check out was at 11 am. My husband said something like, I'm sorry we'll be about 10 minutes. My daughter was terrified and my son asked why she was so angry. We didn't have much wifi in the Galena territory, so I didn't see her email, VRBO message and voicemal until we had already left and were almost in Elizabeth IL. The same woman that came in the house and yelled called and wanted to know what the delay was and wanted to know when we were able to leave, and that check out was 11 and that she has a cleaning team standing by. My husband called back and explained that we had left a while ago and were gone by11:30 just like we told the cleaning lady we would be. She then sent us a bill from her fictitional cleaning team for 20 for being 30 minutes late. Dont stay here

We have stayed in the Territories for over 10 years. I hate to say this as it will be harder to book but this property is a 10+. The owners have thought of everything and we felt like we were in a 5 star property. Everything was perfect. Thank you Sarah.

We like this place! The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen has everything you'd need, and the bathroom has a jet tub! The very cozy family room has a fireplace and Roku TV. The location is very good, clean, and quiet. The trail entry is about 50 yards away from the house. Recommend!

5 High School friends together for a night of chatting, food, drinks & shopping!We reminisced and had so much fun catching up! Shopping downtown Galena was the perfect Saturday!The Vrbo was just perfect for what we wanted and needed! Very clean and such a quiet location!

We only were at the house for a single night, but everyone in our group commented how they wished we could stay for a longer period. The house is a ~20min drive into the heart of Galena. Also it is deceptively bigger than what appeared. It was cozy, super clean and very accommodating. For a small group this is an excellent spot.

The host is amazing, very responsive, kind, and accommodating. The house was fantastic, very clean. The kids loved it and the location is close to the owners club and highway 20. The house is close to trails. We saw a lot of deer and turkey. Great location.

Strongly recommend this rental. Incredibly well organized and furnished. Easy to settle in, and plenty of space. Great location in the Territory and close to golf!

Great house to just sit and relax watching the turkeys come and go in the backyard. Everything is labeled and easy to use. Very quiet with lots of little touches. Good location away from everything yet just a close drive away from downtown.

My friends and I were in town for a bachelorette weekend and had an amazing stay! The house was easy to access, clean and perfect for what we needed! Everything was well labeled with detailed instructions so we had no confusion! There were extra supplies provided in the bathroom and kitchen for a few item we forgot. Overall 10/10! If and when I come back to Galena I willl absolutely stay here again!

The neighborhood is charming, quiet, and scenic. The house is immaculate with everything you need to cook a meal, have drinks, relax or go exploring. I didn't realize it came with a club house pool and much more! The beds are sooooo comfortable. The wildlife is fun to watch. Minutes from town but you feel like you are out in the country.

This was the perfect house for our family weekend getaway. From the start we felt right at home. The house itself was spacious yet cozy, very clean, and well-equipped. It had everything we needed from the comfortable bedrooms to the fully stocked kitchen, and a cozy living area with fireplace that made for a perfect movie night.The neighborhood was perfect for our morning walk and the area was just right for star-gazing. The host was also very responsive and helpful, providing us with all the info we needed before our stay. I would highly recommend this beautiful home.

We couldn’t have asked for anything better! The house was so adorable with plenty of room. The owners thought of everything with lots of scan codes for instructions as well as lists of best places to eat, etc. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Galena.

We had an amazing stay at Sarah’s. There is nothing she hasn’t thought of. Beds were comfy, sheets we newer. Refrigerator had all the things you hate to buy because your not going to take them home with you like ketchup and mayonnaise, bandaids, wood for fire pit. Everything was clean. Bathrooms where in good shape. The jacuzzi tub was amazing. My grandchildren loved it. Easy to communicate. We didn’t go to the pool but she had owners passes if we had wanted to. We did cook breakfast and several dinners. Everything you need was in the kitchen. Even makings for s’mores and roasting utensils too. We made s’mores 3 times. WiFi worked great and Netflix and the roku were easy. The only thing we had trouble with was the thermostat. We were there in 80+ days and the upstairs was hot. We did adjust the thermostat but in the middle of the night it would reset to economy mode. We did try to figure that out to no avail. Keeping it set to cool off the upstairs which worked fine but than the downstairs was chilly. Regardless we had a lovely stay and we plan to visit again and stay at Sarah’s. I highly recommend staying. Sarah’s place is fantastic! We have been to Galena many times I highly recommend it and stay at Sarah’s. My family all gave it a 10+ and they are very opinionated.👍😊

My friends and I gathered for a girls weekend. We appreciated the nice kitchen so we could cook for one another. We also loved the nature views. We had many turkey sightings, squirrels, bunnies, and cardinals. We also had a visit from a woodchuck (so cute!). The dining table was perfect for games too and the living room set up perfect for movies. We hope to visit again!

This was one of the best rentals we’ve stayed at in Galena. We have stayed at a lot of them. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Love the TV watching setup and the furniture was comfortable. So unusual in a rental. Both my husband and I have back issues so need support and a way to put up our feet. First time we went home without pain/discomfort. Loved that one of the showers was a normal size and not a tiny square. We stayed for a week and didnt need the air conditioning with the windows open and the ceiling fans going. There was a nice breeze that cooled the whole house. The screened in porch was really nice and we had fun playing games out there. Finally, walking there was really nice. Not much traffic, shaded most of the way, and pretty scenery. Will definitely stay there again.

Property is well maintained. It is located close to the owners club. The house has everything you need to enjoy your time in Galena. There is a grill and fire pit available. There is a screened in porch where you can enjoy your meals or a board/card games with your group. We would definitely stay here again.
