Glacier Snow Fox Lodge - Inside Glacier Park

We could not have been happier with our stay!! Our group has VRBOed in a lot of places, and all agreed that this was tops! The house is lovely, well appointed, and extremely comfortable, and its location is secluded and peaceful while also super convenient for getting a lot out of a visit to Glacier National Park (GNP). The host was exceptionally helpful and responsive, even with questions that weren't about the house (e.g., suggested hikes and attractions). We visited in May, before busy season, and I imagine the convenience of being in the park (and right next to Apgar Village and close to West Glacier shops) that comes with this gem of a property would be even more important in the summer months. Would give it ten stars if I could!!

Communicative host, lovely home (spent the day there when it rained and played video games on the big tv), and helpful with reservations in glacier (even though I was frequently confused about dates!) Thanks for letting us borrow your space :).

We were truly surprised how we liked the Snow Fox. Location was great away from hustle. Restored property with amenities galore because this is also someone’s home, and it is well kept. Brandon was communicative and responsive. Our neighbor Gary, a local, joined in the evening conversations. If we return to West Glacier, this is our spot.

Our family of five loved the Snow Fox lodge. The location was ideal - a short walk to lake McDonald for evening fishing every night. We enjoyed being close to Apgar village and the amenities there. The proximity to the Apgar entrance to the gate was helpful too! The house was super comfortable, clean and had everything we needed!

It was the perfect house for a Glacier trip. Short walk down the road the a grassy spot on Lake McDonald at the mouth of the creek. It had a very nice stream in the backyard to sit next to and have s’mores at the fire pit. Easy walk to Apgar Village, you don’t need to deal with parking, crowds, or noise. Staying in the park made hiking, GTTSR easy access, and playing in the lake. The house had plenty of blankets, everything to cook with and grill. Dishwasher with soap made cleanup between meals easy, Great three bedrooms with two baths. Extra tv room with super big couches in the basement. The three boys decided to sleep there. Good size laundry machine and dryer with detergent, it was definitely used to cleaned muddy creek/lake/hike clothes. Top two rooms get a little hot during day, so make sure you vent/exhaust with the fans at dinner to start cooling. Plenty of space, two tv rooms, board games, wi-fi. Great responses from owners. Very pleasant neighbors. This was perfect for two families with kids 5-11. I would definitely recommend this house over the ones in the village.
