We can't put into words how amazing this property was for our group. The hosts (Marilyn and Rita) were simply wonderful. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, gazebo was great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a late night cocktail, the front and back porches were great for conversations and lots of laughter. We will be booking again!!

Great property and location. Very well equipped and clean. Great amenities, screened porch and fire pit that we used for dinners and spent each night around the fire pit. We were 10 miles from Highlands NC and Clayton Ga. The owner was responsive when we contacted her.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Canopy! Home is clean, comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen has everything you need plus some extras. It has plenty of room and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. If we come back to this area, would happily stay here again.

We wanted to beat the heat and came to the mountains for a few days. This place is beautifully appointed, well stocked, and centrally located for summer mountain activities. We had a couple days of rain and the porch provided a great reading location. We loved our time here.

This host has thought of everything! From the kitchen to the baths, so well-appointed and so clean. Felt like home as soon as we walked in the door. We found the setting to be peaceful as we sat outside in the evenings on either the deck or the screened porch. Also, the host is very responsive and friendly. Would definitely consider staying again next time we are in the area. Beautiful!

We enjoyed the home tucked away in the mountains and had easy access to several hiking trails. The sauna was great at the end of a long hike. Beautifully appointed home and great attention to details. Enjoyed all the area and this home had to offer. Spacious and warm.

We stayed at The Canopy for a wedding at The Vineyards at High Holly. It was a great location just minutes away so it made everything so easy to get to. The house is just as pictured and was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely like to come back and visit the area again. Marilyn is very responsive to anything we asked and we felt right at home. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

This was a very nice and clean getaway in the mountains. We loved everything about it! I didn't realize Sky Valley was in a great location either, but it's close to Highlands, Dillard and Franklin. And also it's very close to Otto, which has a good Thai restaurant with boba tea. There's also a pickleball court about a mile away where we played as a family and loved it. Very happy with Marilyn and The Canopy!

We were in town for a wedding at The Vineyard at High Holly. The Canopy had everything we needed and more! Due to the busy timeline of a wedding weekend, we regretfully did not have much time to use all that The Canopy had to offer us. We enjoyed our time and definitely want to come back when we have more time to spend in the home and explore the surrounding areas. The Canopy was just as all of the pictures showed and other reviews insisted. Beautiful, clean, and a convenient location.

We really loved this place! It's in a perfect spot to springboard into any place in Northern GA or WNC withing 2 hours. I loves the uniqueness of having to travel into NC to get to a town in GA! And not to mention there's a giant waterfall 5 min from the house! The master bed is probably the most comfortable bed I've slept on in any VRBO! Check in and check out is a breeze as well! Loved this spot and loves this trip!

Our family loved The Canopy house! We all three of us were constantly saying how wonderful every space indoors and outdoors were! It was very cozy and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and we all slept well. The outdoor spaces were where I spent day time hours when at the house! The front porch was my favorite place for morning coffee as I thoroughly enjoyed the cool temps and listening to the birds! I would definitely stay there again!

We loved staying in this house for a long weekend to attend a wedding. We were most impressed with the sleeping arrangements. It’s not everyday you find a VRBO house with amazing beds/mattresses! We slept great at this house! The kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. My daughter left her beloved stuffy behind and the host mailed it to us ASAP. We are so grateful! 10 out of 10 recommend; we would 100% stay here again.

The Host is so accommodating and genuinely kind. She made sure our stay was perfect in every way possible. The views are beautiful, the entire home is built for comfort and we also loved cooking on the high end gas stove and oven. We would have stayed longer if we didn't need to get back to the real world. We will deffinately be coming back! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

The views are beautiful, the entire home is built for comfort and we also loved cooking on the high end gas stove and oven. The Canopy was the perfect spot for my family this Summer. A hidden gem away from the hot, Summer sun but close enough to lots of adventures. My teenage kids, 14 (girl) and 17(boy) had a blast white water rafting, hiking around waterfalls, zip lining and touring the area. The hosts were the absolute sweetest and most accommodating we've ever experienced. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon!
The Canopy was the perfect spot for my family this Summer. A hidden gem away from the hot, Summer sun but close enough to lots of adventures. My teenage kids, 14 (girl) and 17(boy) had a blast white water rafting, hiking around waterfalls, zip lining and touring the area. 3 mom's (80+) with their daughters/daughter-in-laws came for the weekend and had a fabulous time! Check in and check out process was so easy that I kept reviewing it to see if I was missing something LOL. Plenty of space for our group of 9. Best part of our stay was the zip lining/ giant swing... so many laughs. The drive up to Franklin NC is a must - lots of beautiful scenery, including waterfalls. Response time when reaching out to Marilyn couldn't have been better. Great time!!

We stayed at The Canopy for a wedding at The Vineyards at High Holly. It was a great location just minutes away so it made everything so easy to get to. The house is just as pictured and was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely like to come back and visit the area again. Marilyn is very responsive to anything we asked and we felt right at home. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

The Canopy was the perfect spot for my family this Summer. A hidden gem away from the hot, Summer sun but close enough to lots of adventures. My teenage kids, 14 (girl) and 17(boy) had a blast white water rafting, hiking around waterfalls, zip lining and touring the area. The hosts were the absolute sweetest and most accommodating we've ever experienced. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon!

Breathtaking ranch home in an excellent location between Clayton and Highlands! The home is gorgeous and comfortable and the amenities are excellent. Close to shopping, restaurants, wineries, and be sure to go to Julep Farms! Owner is highly responsive. We will definitely return. 10 out of 10!

This was a very nice and clean getaway in the mountains. We loved everything about it! I didn't realize Sky Valley was in a great location either, but it's close to Highlands, Dillard and Franklin. And also it's very close to Otto, which has a good Thai restaurant with boba tea. There's also a pickleball court about a mile away where we played as a family and loved it. Very happy with Marilyn and The Canopy!

Wonderful property with fabulous views and the location was perfect to visit surrounding towns and hiking areas. Our host had timely communication and was accommodating for our concerns (weather related). Spacious house with all the comforts of home.

We were in town for a wedding at The Vineyard at High Holly. The Canopy had everything we needed and more! Due to the busy timeline of a wedding weekend, we regretfully did not have much time to use all that The Canopy had to offer us. We enjoyed our time and definitely want to come back when we have more time to spend in the home and explore the surrounding areas. The Canopy was just as all of the pictures showed and other reviews insisted. Beautiful, clean, and a convenient location.

The Host is so accommodating and genuinely kind. She made sure our stay was perfect in every way possible. The views are beautiful, the entire home is built for comfort and we also loved cooking on the high end gas stove and oven. We would have stayed longer if we didn't need to get back to the real world. We will deffinately be coming back! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

We can't put into words how amazing this property was for our group. The hosts (Marilyn and Rita) were simply wonderful. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, gazebo was great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a late night cocktail, the front and back porches were great for conversations and lots of laughter. We will be booking again!!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Canopy! Home is clean, comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen has everything you need plus some extras. It has plenty of room and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. If we come back to this area, would happily stay here again.

We wanted to beat the heat and came to the mountains for a few days. This place is beautifully appointed, well stocked, and centrally located for summer mountain activities. We had a couple days of rain and the porch provided a great reading location. We loved our time here.

This host has thought of everything! From the kitchen to the baths, so well-appointed and so clean. Felt like home as soon as we walked in the door. We found the setting to be peaceful as we sat outside in the evenings on either the deck or the screened porch. Also, the host is very responsive and friendly. Would definitely consider staying again next time we are in the area. Beautiful!

We loved staying in this house for a long weekend to attend a wedding. We were most impressed with the sleeping arrangements. It’s not everyday you find a VRBO house with amazing beds/mattresses! We slept great at this house! The kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. My daughter left her beloved stuffy behind and the host mailed it to us ASAP. We are so grateful! 10 out of 10 recommend; we would 100% stay here again.

We had a 50th birthday party here and rented the home. Everything was perfect! The fire pit was a hit and the kitchen is huge and has all that you will need!

Everything was amazing. The checkin/checkout process was smooth and the house - so perfect! It was (among all else) comfortable, relaxing, and beautiful. The bed was comfy, blankets were top-notch, and the amenities were above and beyond. The porches were relaxing and though we didn't have enough time to enjoy the fire pit, I know that on a longer stay it would have been fantastic based on every other amenity we did enjoy! The sauna was perfect after a day of hiking (Glen Falls is close and a fantastic hike for a relaxing semi-easy hike!) and exploring the Highlands. Would 100% recommend and 100% return if lucky enough to come back to the area in the near future. We thank the host for such a wonderful home and for making our trip perfect. If you're looking to book here - do it!

Check in process was terrible, we arrived at 4 o’clock for check-in and still had not receive instructions. Host asked if we could wait until 7pm while they finished getting the property ready… after we had just made a 9 hour drive. There are many demonic statues throughout the house, had a lot of light bulb not working.Had a frozen pizza on the counter for 15 minutes and was covered in ants.Would not recommend this property if you’re looking for a relaxing mountain stay.

The place was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could have ever needed or wanted - especially the kitchen! It was relaxing and comfortable and had a lot of information about local attractions. The host was very responsive and the check out procedures were so minimal they gave us extra time with our family before we left.We would definitely go back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mountain retreat. Just a note, it is located in a neighborhood and sometimes we heard children playing, but it was sweet to actually hear kids playing outside and it still felt very secluded and private.
