Upon arrival I knew this home was going to be special and a place to remember. From the porch lights welcoming you and the friendly bicycles waiting to be riden. Bathrooms with all the luxuries one can possibly think of. Plush towels soaps shampoos conditioners and creams to enjoy a complete shower. All toiletries included. A kitchen well stacked with complimentary coffee and teas to start your morning's. Everything one might need to prepare a meal provided. A comfortable living room area with entertainment like a record player and cable channels. The bedrooms were in a class all by themselves with plush sleeping linens and pillows that are fluffy....everything was crisp and clean. The whole experience was above and beyond. The touches that are in this rental will make anyone feel like theyre staying in a 5 star quality country french Bed and Breakfast. Yes thats how good it was!👌👌👌👌👌

Mary's Place is a perfect getaway! The house is in a quaint, quiet neighborhood within a few blocks of downtown. It is a great combination of old house character/charm and updated comfort/convenience. The outdoor space was lovely and inviting. Our host, Scott, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was the perfect host. I highly recommend Mary's Place!

From the fragrant Star Jasmine in full bloom around the carport to the delightful personal touches inside the house, everything was sweet and tasteful. Beautifully decorated, an eye for detail and thoughtful added extras. Mary's Place is located on a quiet, tranquil street. Wish we could have enjoyed Mary's Smoke Shed located outback but we were in town for an event with lots of planned activities to attend-maybe next time. Highly recommend and would rent again for a future stay.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this property was. Communication was immediate, checkin was seamless, and the property is BEAUTIFUL!! They even left snacks and coffee for us to enjoy which was very helpful and thoughtful. Every little detail and touch were taken care of. Definitely recommend!

This place was amazing! The pictures represent just what the place looks like (not pictures that were taken years ago like some rentals). A bottle of wine was left on the counter as a welcome gift which was incredibly thoughtful. Cleanliness is so important to me and this rental was spotless; doors, baseboards, knick knacks, dishes, floors, bathrooms, etc. Thank you so much for that Scott. The beds were so comfy. We all slept well. The decor inside is just beautifully done and makes you feel right at home (actually gave me some ideas for my own home). There is a deck in the back that overlooks a large, private and peaceful back yard. We enjoyed sitting out there with our morning coffee. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in this area, don't hesitate, book it! We have friends in the area and will be looking foward to renting this property again in the future.

I travel a lot up in this area and had been staying at hotels but I continued to have issues with hotel's cleanliness, bad customer service and overall rundown decor. I found Mary's place and thought I'd give it a try. It exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely clean, quiet, hospitable and you can tell that the owners have gone out of their way to make sure that their guests enjoy their time there. I will be staying there every time I come up for business and I'm going to start booking for pleasure. Best experience!

This cottage was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. I honestly felt like we were the first to rent because the place was so totally clean and lovely. Scott thought of EVERYTHING even things that we wouldn’t have thought of. We’ll definitely go back and stay again. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful place in such a sweet town.

The home is beautiful and full of charm. We love the antique style fixtures blended with modern touches. It is absolutely immaculately clean! That alone makes it a 5 star stay for us. The host was great and checked on us when we got there to make sure we had everything we needed. The welcome snacks/wine was also extremely thoughtful. We stay at a lot of vacation rentals and don’t often see this. We will definitely stay here every time we come to see family. Thank you for the pride you have in taking care of this fabulous home.

Dear Scott, Thank you for hosting Kate and me while Kate was partaking in horseback archery training. You certainly put a great effort to make your place attractive and optimal for the various needs of your guests. We felt very comfortable with the clean freshly painted well cared-for guest house. Little things such an popcorn and snacks were entirely unexpected. We didn't have much time to watch Netflix but the other conveniences especially the excellent Wi-Fi coverage helped Kate with her homework and me with my business reading and news coverage. We hope that your guest home will be available whenever we return to Warrenton. Thank you again Kate and her grandfather

Thank you for cleaning part of the way through the summer. Thank you for the lovely home that helped them feel safe and comfortable on this big step out into the world, as three young men doing field work. You were available over text, and the house is just precious in such a sweet small town, with a rare historic village feel,being safe and clean and well-kept. I hope Warrenton continues to thrive and grow in this manner, and your BnB serves many more for years to come. What a treasure. You all were great!!

My small family and I, including my mom in tow, absolutely adored the property for our stay. We have family in North Carolina and as our family has grown we've needed different accommodations in order to visit comfortably. Mary's Place was the answer to our prayers! Upon my family arriving a little ahead of me due to business travel, they were greeted warmly and all set to come before I arrived 2 days later. The location was ideal and the community was the sort of peaceful setting that we enjoy. We plan to make this our go to property as long as it's available!

I travel a lot up in this area and had been staying at hotels but I continued to have issues with hotel's cleanliness, bad customer service and overall rundown decor. I found Mary's place and thought I'd give it a try. It exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely clean, quiet, hospitable and you can tell that the owners have gone out of their way to make sure that their guests enjoy their time there. I will be staying there every time I come up for business and I'm going to start booking for pleasure. Best experience!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this property was. Communication was immediate, checkin was seamless, and the property is BEAUTIFUL!! They even left snacks and coffee for us to enjoy which was very helpful and thoughtful. Every little detail and touch were taken care of. Definitely recommend!

The home is beautiful and full of charm. We love the antique style fixtures blended with modern touches. It is absolutely immaculately clean! That alone makes it a 5 star stay for us. The host was great and checked on us when we got there to make sure we had everything we needed. The welcome snacks/wine was also extremely thoughtful. We stay at a lot of vacation rentals and don’t often see this. We will definitely stay here every time we come to see family. Thank you for the pride you have in taking care of this fabulous home.

Mary's Place is a perfect getaway! The house is in a quaint, quiet neighborhood within a few blocks of downtown. It is a great combination of old house character/charm and updated comfort/convenience. The outdoor space was lovely and inviting. Our host, Scott, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was the perfect host. I highly recommend Mary's Place!

Mary’s Place in Warrenton, NC almost defies description! From the fragrant Star Jasmine in full bloom around the carport to the delightful personal touches inside the house, everything was sweet and tasteful. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck as well as exploring quaint Warrenton. It’s truly an awesome discovery and we’re so happy to recommend it to anyone. Thank you Scott!

Beautifully decorated, an eye for detail and thoughtful added extras. Mary's Place is located on a quiet, tranquil street. Wish we could have enjoyed Mary's Smoke Shed located outback but we were in town for an event with lots of planned activities to attend-maybe next time. Highly recommend and would rent again for a future stay.

Upon arrival I knew this home was going to be special and a place to remember. From the porch lights welcoming you and the friendly bicycles waiting to be riden. Bathrooms with all the luxuries one can possibly think of. Plush towels soaps shampoos conditioners and creams to enjoy a complete shower. All toiletries included. A kitchen well stacked with complimentary coffee and teas to start your morning's. Everything one might need to prepare a meal provided. A comfortable living room area with entertainment like a record player and cable channels. The bedrooms were in a class all by themselves with plush sleeping linens and pillows that are fluffy....everything was crisp and clean. The whole experience was above and beyond. The touches that are in this rental will make anyone feel like theyre staying in a 5 star quality country french Bed and Breakfast. Yes thats how good it was!👌👌👌👌👌

Dear Scott, Thank you for hosting Kate and me while Kate was partaking in horseback archery training. You certainly put a great effort to make your place attractive and optimal for the various needs of your guests. We felt very comfortable with the clean freshly painted well cared-for guest house. Little things such an popcorn and snacks were entirely unexpected. We didn't have much time to watch Netflix but the other conveniences especially the excellent Wi-Fi coverage helped Kate with her homework and me with my business reading and news coverage. We hope that your guest home will be available whenever we return to Warrenton. Thank you again Kate and her grandfather

My wife and I had a wonderful three night stay at Mary’s Place. House was amazing well stocked with all the amenities, we didn’t want to leave. Will be back next year for sure.

This place was amazing! The pictures represent just what the place looks like (not pictures that were taken years ago like some rentals). A bottle of wine was left on the counter as a welcome gift which was incredibly thoughtful. Cleanliness is so important to me and this rental was spotless; doors, baseboards, knick knacks, dishes, floors, bathrooms, etc. Thank you so much for that Scott. The beds were so comfy. We all slept well. The decor inside is just beautifully done and makes you feel right at home (actually gave me some ideas for my own home). There is a deck in the back that overlooks a large, private and peaceful back yard. We enjoyed sitting out there with our morning coffee. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in this area, don't hesitate, book it! We have friends in the area and will be looking foward to renting this property again in the future.
