This is the perfect place to decompress from phones, crowds and traffic. We spent two full days of enjoying the deck that overlooks the Au Sable river - reading, birding and fishing. The cabin has everything we needed - a very comfortable bed! - and our host was very attentive to our needs. Thanks, Scot

Scot was a fantastic host, the property was extremely peaceful, comfortable, and exactly what we wanted it to be for our stay. Our favorite part of our day was eating breakfast on the deck and walking down to the river to read by the peaceful river. Would strongly recommend a stay here.

I love this spot on the river! The space is just as advertised and is perfect for 1-2 people. Scot is an excellent host and is easily contacted if you need anything. Nothing like a fire here watching the sunset!

Beautiful little lovers cabin. Everything you would need is there even know we always bring are own bathroom products and coffee it was there. Short drive to Whiteface and lake placid. We really enjoyed the cabin in the winter. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing little cozy cabin! We had a great time! Very good selection of books, watched some scary movies and we ended up reading ghost stories of the Adirondacks. Excellent communication from our Host Scot from before we booked the trip up until out last night there. Very clean cabin! 10/10 I'd recommend:)

Perfect spot to come back to after a couple days of banging out high peaks. I felt right at home in this cozy cabin, a much needed respite after a summer of fieldwork. Super clean, and a great option for solo travelers or couples looking for a couple days away from the grind.

Wife and I had a fantastic time here! The property was very clean. The cabin was cozy and the amenities were fantastic for the space. The West Branch Ausable was high during our stay but we still managed to get some good fishing in, as well as plenty of relaxation.

Idyllic property, right on a gorgeous stretch of the Ausable River. Clean and comfy cabin with all that you need. We truly relaxed, spent a lot of time enjoying the river and the views. Great proximity to all that makes this area of the Adirondacks so special - Wilmington, Whiteface, Lake Placid, Jay, Keene -- all nearby. Lots of great hikes in the area. Our host Scot was super-responsive. We'd go back, for sure!

It was spotless (truly impressively clean), with easy-to-use appliances, and the view and atmosphere were incredibly comforting.What stood out most was how peaceful everything felt. It’s a quaint cabin in Jay, New York. Perfect stay if planning to do some traveling/adventuring. The cabin was very clean and the owner was very informative about the whole process. Be aware that there is not great cell reception in the area, but the owner provides wifi.

We stayed at the cabin on the river for a long weekend and it was everything we hoped it would be. It was quiet and peaceful and although the owner lives in the house next door, we were left alone and had the place to ourselves to relax. The river is beautiful and the cabin was clean and just enough for 2 people. The owner was very attentive and we would definitely do it again.

I have stayed here 4x now. Its very great location on the river. the cabin has everything you need for 1-2 people. Lots of windows facing the river to enjoy the view. Love just being there! Scot is a great host and everything was super smooth!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The riverfront setting with mountains views was gorgeous! The cottage was small but cozy, and was equipped with everything we needed. Thanks to our host, Scot, for sharing this lovely place!

I just find this location so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin is just right for my needs and has spots to eat, sleep, and multiple places to sit and relax. The river is so awesome! Easy to run into town if I forgot something. Scot is an excellent host who pays attention to details. I’ll be back for sure!

Wife and I had a fantastic time here! The property was very clean. The cabin was cozy and the amenities were fantastic for the space. The West Branch Ausable was high during our stay but we still managed to get some good fishing in, as well as plenty of relaxation.

Idyllic property, right on a gorgeous stretch of the Ausable River. Clean and comfy cabin with all that you need. We truly relaxed, spent a lot of time enjoying the river and the views. Great proximity to all that makes this area of the Adirondacks so special - Wilmington, Whiteface, Lake Placid, Jay, Keene -- all nearby. Lots of great hikes in the area. Our host Scot was super-responsive. We'd go back, for sure!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The riverfront setting with mountains views was gorgeous! The cottage was small but cozy, and was equipped with everything we needed. Thanks to our host, Scot, for sharing this lovely place!

Scot was a fantastic host, the property was extremely peaceful, comfortable, and exactly what we wanted it to be for our stay. Our favorite part of our day was eating breakfast on the deck and walking down to the river to read by the peaceful river. Would strongly recommend a stay here.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was fantastic. Good idea to come with some groceries for sure. We brought a few meals with us and had a wonderful stay. The hiking is beautiful in the area also.

The cabin was spotless, access was straightforwrad and the ability to just sit by the stream in back was food for our soul. Loved our stay, enjoy several deer sightings driving out and left wanting to come back. Highly recommend!

What a treat!! Such a beautiful cabin in a spectacular setting. The Ausable River is right outside the door and a short walk to an easy access fly fishing pool.Close to many High Peak trailheads and fabulous restaurants around the corner. (15 minutes).This place is a gem! Scot the host is wonderful to work with and always a call away!Definitely will be returning soon!!

Couldn’t ask for a better spot! The cabin is as wonderful as the photos indicate. It is also amazing that you can bring your furry friend and that there is a dedicated trail that you’re welcome to use as a guest of the host right around the property. Host is super friendly and communicative!

Cozy riverfront cottage with amazing views to the west. Sunsets are awesome. Everything you need is there and the cabin is perfect for 1-2 people - especially a romantic weekend away! Fire pit was in a great spot and made for great evenings after a day enjoying the Adirondacks. Groceries and restaurants were nearby. Scot was attentive and checked in but we didn't need anything
