Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very clean, had everything we needed, including toilet paper, paper towels, and ziplock bags! Blender was awesome for smoothies! Great beds and used all the beach stuff in the garage...very helpful! Two things...I would upgrade your umbrellas to a better quality one...these were too flimsy to be used in the breezes there. Also when it comes time to change out your living room furniture, I would get a sectional so more people could be comfortable. While your side chairs look nice in pics, they aren’t comfy. Our A/C went out the last two days and they were quick to get someone out to fix. Great location with shops and beaches very close by. Excellent stay! Thanks!

I booked this unit for my family including 5 adults. 25 minute drive from the airport. Check in was convenient and the unit was clean. The unit is located next to the recreational building which provides a pool and gym. It was very convenient being so close to these amenities. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all of the supply’s we needed to cook family meals. However the kitchen knives were in bad shape. The laundry room was a great amenity. It was stocked with detergent and everything was in working order. The unit had a garage where you will find beach equipment (folding chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc.) The community was nice a quiet and everyone staying here was friendly. The beach was a five minute drive, and an excellent shopping mall was right dow the street which provided several great restaurants and a Longs for grocery shopping. I would stay here again!

Everything and everyone was helpful and very nice. Had a problem with the lock box but, both Wahines were fabulous in quick help. The condo is beautiful, everything you need when on vacation. It's amazing that they supply soup, kitchen supplies, shampoo, even have ziplock. Amazing. It was a very nice touch with my beautiful gift bag with chocolates and other things, Mahalo much for that. I will recommend anyone to stay here it's beautiful and amazing. Parking is great.

Property was exactly as described and very well laid out as well as stocked with the essentials. Check in was seamless and management was super quick to respond with answers to questions. Pool area was clean and close with a very short drive to beaches. We would absolutely stay here again for a south shore vacation. Thanks for a great home base on our vacation.

The property was beautiful with nice views of the mountains. Very clean with plenty of kitchen ware, towels and blankets. Nice touch with cooler, chairs, and some snorkel equipment. Beds were very comfortable and looked new.

Property is not only in a great location close to food options and beaches, it was a great size for my family and I. Space was more than enough for a group of 6 as well as super clean! Kitchen contained everything we needed to cook. The lanai was a plus to be able to sit out on in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!

It was in a beautiful Condo area, close toshops and restaurants, and a 4 minute drive to beach. The Condo was immaculate and had a nice pool and hot tub, great covered patio with views of the mountains. The condo had everything you would need for cooking ( supplies). While we were there only 3 nights it was a great stay!

Great place near Poipu Beach, restaurants and shops. It’s about a 20-30 minute drive to Lihue and the airport. The condo was equipped with plenty of plates and utensils as well as beach chairs, an umbrella and snorkeling gear. The pool and grills were just across the parking area. We had no complaints at all about this place.

This VRBO unit was better than expected, which is not common. Clean, convenient, very nicely stocked, including shampoo and conditioner. The amenities are top notch as well. We will definitely be back!

The location was near everything we planned on doing during our stay. There was also some places to eat, do some shopping, and a general store - all within a 10 minute walk. The beach was also walking distance but would take around 20 minutes. A car is still recommended to get around to other locations on the island. The property was as advertised, clean with all working amenities. It was located in the corner so we didn't hear the roosters too much. This property does have neighbors, so be aware that there are people underneath and around you. Management had great communication with us and was very nice. If we needed anything they responded quickly and would accommodate if possible. Will definitely be considering this location for our next stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. There were a few glitches along the way that caused us some disappointment but was reported each time to the property management of Pili Mai at Poipu 1C. We were without WiFi access and did not know the garage code for Sat 7/8 and Sun7/9 as we could not find the information sheet. When we reached out to management on Mon 7/9, they told us it was mounted on the wall. We thought it was a handbook we should be looking for. We had WiFi for 2 days, then the tv and WiFi stopped working on Wed 7/12 and we also noted that a closet door hinge was loose and could not be opened/closed properly. We contacted management and was told a handyman would come the next day Thurs 7/13 between 10 am- 2 pm. But when we came back from golfing, the closet door hinges remained broken. We reported this to management again on Fri 7/14 and was told that the handyman probably was not able to fix it. Management sent a housekeeper over to address the WiFi and TV that was not functioning that Friday afternoon so the WiFi and TV became operational for that afternoon but TV could only work through access with our mobile phone. The next day Sat 7/15 was our departure day. It wasn't all negative. We enjoyed the condo and its amenities. We're avid golfers so it was great to wake up to a view of the golf course. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the issue of not having WiFi and garage access for 2 days, tv and WiFi that malfunctioned mid-week and a closet door that had broken hinges which did not get fixed while we were there. We would come back again to Pili Mai but hope that things will go smoother next time. Going forward, it would be nice to mention the location of the informational form so it's easy to locate and everything should be in working order before the next occupant checks in. Mahalo nui loa!

LIKED: Safe, quiet and clean golf community. Enjoyed the accessiblity to the golf course. Since it's a community of residential condomiums, you would need a rental vehicle to get around. With a rental vehicle, it's easy to get to the shopping, dining, cultural venues. DID NOT LIKE: Was not informed where the information list of the condo was located when we checked in. We were looking for a booklet. Hence we had no WiFi and no garage access for Saturday 7/8 and Sunday 7/9 until we reached out to them for the WiFi password and the garage code. Had to call the property management/host to find out where the form was which was a piece of laminated paper on the wall. Then we lost WiFi signal for 2 days in the master bedroom and found one of the closet doors' hinges was lose so the closet door was not properly set on its frame. Contacted the property management Wed 7/12 and was told a handyman would come Thurs 7/13 to take care of the maintenance issue. The handyman never showed up and no communication with us as to why he didn't come. WiFi access was still not fixed. Had to contact management again to address this Fri 7/14. LIKED: Safe, quiet and clean golf community. Enjoyed the accessiblity to the golf course. Since it's a community of residential condomiums, you would need a rental vehicle to get around. With a rental vehicle, it's easy to get to the shopping, dining, cultural venues. DID NOT LIKE: Was not informed where the information list of the condo was located when we checked in. We were looking for a booklet. Hence we had no WiFi and no garage access for Saturday 7/8 and Sunday 7/9 until we reached out to them for the WiFi password and the garage code. Had to call the property management/host to find out where the form was which was a piece of laminated paper on the wall. Then we lost WiFi signal for 2 days in the master bedroom and found one of the closet doors' hinges was lose so the closet door was not properly set on its frame. Contacted the property management Wed 7/12 and was told a handyman would come Thurs 7/13 to take care of the maintenance issue. The handyman never showed up and no communication with us as to why he didn't come. WiFi access was still not fixed. Had to contact management again to address this Fri 7/14. The property was beautiful with nice views of the mountains. Very clean with plenty of kitchen ware, towels and blankets. Nice touch with cooler, chairs, and some snorkel equipment. Beds were very comfortable and looked new.

We had six adults and this place fit us perfectly. The home was clean and spacious. Everything was in great condition. The location was quite, and we had access to the facilities. Check-In & out was a breeze. The management kept us updated through the entire process. We would stay here again.

Property is not only in a great location close to food options and beaches, it was a great size for my family and I. Space was more than enough for a group of 6 as well as super clean! Kitchen contained everything we needed to cook. The lanai was a plus to be able to sit out on in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. There were a few glitches along the way that caused us some disappointment but was reported each time to the property management of Pili Mai at Poipu 1C. We were without WiFi access and did not know the garage code for Sat 7/8 and Sun7/9 as we could not find the information sheet. When we reached out to management on Mon 7/9, they told us it was mounted on the wall. We thought it was a handbook we should be looking for. We had WiFi for 2 days, then the tv and WiFi stopped working on Wed 7/12 and we also noted that a closet door hinge was loose and could not be opened/closed properly. We contacted management and was told a handyman would come the next day Thurs 7/13 between 10 am- 2 pm. But when we came back from golfing, the closet door hinges remained broken. We reported this to management again on Fri 7/14 and was told that the handyman probably was not able to fix it. Management sent a housekeeper over to address the WiFi and TV that was not functioning that Friday afternoon so the WiFi and TV became operational for that afternoon but TV could only work through access with our mobile phone. The next day Sat 7/15 was our departure day. It wasn't all negative. We enjoyed the condo and its amenities. We're avid golfers so it was great to wake up to a view of the golf course. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the issue of not having WiFi and garage access for 2 days, tv and WiFi that malfunctioned mid-week and a closet door that had broken hinges which did not get fixed while we were there. We would come back again to Pili Mai but hope that things will go smoother next time. Going forward, it would be nice to mention the location of the informational form so it's easy to locate and everything should be in working order before the next occupant checks in. Mahalo nui loa!

The condo was beautiful and perfect for our overnight stay! It was conveniently located to shops and places to eat within walking distance. The only downside we encountered was we left a couple items behind on accident and I texted and called but never heard anything back.

Property was exactly as described and very well laid out as well as stocked with the essentials. Check in was seamless and management was super quick to respond with answers to questions. Pool area was clean and close with a very short drive to beaches. We would absolutely stay here again for a south shore vacation. Thanks for a great home base on our vacation.

The host was so responsive and accommodating to our requests. The condo was beautiful, clean and exactly as pictured. We loved the kitchen and the fact that there was central AC. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the location was perfect for our family! We would absolutely stay here again!

The location was near everything we planned on doing during our stay. There was also some places to eat, do some shopping, and a general store - all within a 10 minute walk. The beach was also walking distance but would take around 20 minutes. A car is still recommended to get around to other locations on the island. The property was as advertised, clean with all working amenities. It was located in the corner so we didn't hear the roosters too much. This property does have neighbors, so be aware that there are people underneath and around you. Management had great communication with us and was very nice. If we needed anything they responded quickly and would accommodate if possible. Will definitely be considering this location for our next stay.

This was a very nice condo for our family of four. While not right on the beach, we enjoyed our walks (about 15 minutes) to the beach and the shops. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby and the condo kitchen was great for meal prep too. I would stay here again.

It was in a beautiful Condo area, close toshops and restaurants, and a 4 minute drive to beach. The Condo was immaculate and had a nice pool and hot tub, great covered patio with views of the mountains. The condo had everything you would need for cooking ( supplies). While we were there only 3 nights it was a great stay!

Great place near Poipu Beach, restaurants and shops. It’s about a 20-30 minute drive to Lihue and the airport. The condo was equipped with plenty of plates and utensils as well as beach chairs, an umbrella and snorkeling gear. The pool and grills were just across the parking area. We had no complaints at all about this place.

Great beds and used all the beach stuff in the garage...very helpful! Two things...I would upgrade your umbrellas to a better quality one...these were too flimsy to be used in the breezes there. Also when it comes time to change out your living room furniture, I would get a sectional so more people could be comfortable. While your side chairs look nice in pics, they aren’t comfy. Our A/C went out the last two days and they were quick to get someone out to fix. Great location with shops and beaches very close by. Excellent stay! Thanks!

I booked this unit for my family including 5 adults. 25 minute drive from the airport. Check in was convenient and the unit was clean. The unit is located next to the recreational building which provides a pool and gym. It was very convenient being so close to these amenities. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all of the supply’s we needed to cook family meals. However the kitchen knives were in bad shape. The laundry room was a great amenity. It was stocked with detergent and everything was in working order. The unit had a garage where you will find beach equipment (folding chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc.) The community was nice a quiet and everyone staying here was friendly. The beach was a five minute drive, and an excellent shopping mall was right dow the street which provided several great restaurants and a Longs for grocery shopping. I would stay here again!
I booked this unit for my family including 5 adults. 25 minute drive from the airport. Check in was convenient and the unit was clean. The unit is located next to the recreational building which provides a pool and gym. It was very convenient being so close to these amenities. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all of the supply’s we needed to cook family meals. However the kitchen knives were in bad shape. The laundry room was a great amenity. It was stocked with detergent and everything was in working order. The property was beautiful with nice views of the mountains. Very clean with plenty of kitchen ware, towels and blankets. Nice touch with cooler, chairs, and some snorkel equipment. Beds were very comfortable and looked new.

This was a very nice condo for our family of four. While not right on the beach, we enjoyed our walks (about 15 minutes) to the beach and the shops. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby and the condo kitchen was great for meal prep too. I would stay here again.

Property is not only in a great location close to food options and beaches, it was a great size for my family and I. Space was more than enough for a group of 6 as well as super clean! Kitchen contained everything we needed to cook. The lanai was a plus to be able to sit out on in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!

This condo was perfect for my family. It instantly felt like home for all 8 of us. The condo had a well stocked kitchen that we used daily. The location is close to beaches, dining and shopping. Management is super responsive to questions/concerns.

We so enjoyed our stay at Pili Mai! Very spacious, open concept so we could all enjoy being together. Very clean, had everything we needed for cooking meals. Shopping, beaches all very accessible. Would highly recommend!

The Pili Mai development is quite the hidden gem in Poipu. It’s a modern complex of condos that’s tastefully designed and well landscaped. Our family enjoyed the amenities including the pool and lounge areas. It’s also centrally located with a quick drive to Poipu Beach, which we loved.Unit 1C was a fantastic choice for our family of four. Plenty of space and beds for everyone, with a modern kitchen and dining area. We also found the in unit washer and dryer very helpful and the beach and snorkel equipment in garage a nice addition.We caught quite a few memorable sunrises from the east facing balcony, which had a lovely view of the open and wild landscape. We preferred this over the manicured view of a golf course.Couple of things to note-a) This second floor unit’s 3 bedroom, the one with the two single beds, does not get much of the AC cooling compared to the rest and the condo. So both the ceiling and floor fans stayed on the whole night for our kids.b) Communication with the management company could be improved. The texting line was helpful but responses were delayed and no one conveyed their name.c) Maintenance and service was scheduled in our unit without prior notice so we woke up to a crew wanting entry. We just didn’t feel comfortable and didn’t want adjust our schedule and need for rest.Notwithstanding- we enjoyed our stay and time in Kauai and look forward to returning to Pili Mai in the future.
