Quaint Log Cabin w/ Views Near West Jefferson

Lovely cabin hidden away with a gorgeous Mountain View. Beautiful view of the stars. Soft bed linens and a fully furnished kitchen made for an extra nice stay. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend.

This little place was perfect for my husband and myself for a couple days when we needed to be in the area. We worked during the day but loved coming back to the house in the evenings and sitting on the porch listening to the birds, watching the shadow rise over the mountain as the sun went down and watching the fireflies come out. It was simple but perfect.

The cabin was a great size for one person (or a couple) for a few days. Made a good good base for hiking in the area & exploring West Jefferson. Internet was surprisingly fast & reliable for the location. The space was clean & well maintained, and the kitchen had all the essentials.

The cottage was just as the pictures, super clean and so nice! We enjoyed spending lots of time on the deck taking in the amazing view! The rain even held off so that we could make the most of our outside time. The bed was ao comfortable and we loved having all the necessities there for us. We want to come back soon!

Just right for my wife and I as we used this as a base to explore the surrounding areas. It was refreshing to find an actual queen sized bed as it was advertised. There was a nice sized shower and nicely stocked kitchen. Neighbors are near, but can't be seen from the property. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful view of mountain, cabin is perfect size for 1 or 2, very clean, wonderful extras of full bottles of shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, kitchen fully supplied, books, board games, extra towels, beautiful area, great communication with guest contact and helpful. Would recommend!

Kitchen was fully equipped, well-organized and clean. The cabin itself felt very cozy without being too "cutesy."

The bed was very comfortable and smart tv's provided numerous streaming options. The cabin is well located near West Jefferson and numerous hiking trails. We requested an early check in and were quickly notified that we could in fact check in a couple of hours early. Would highly recommend for a mountain getaway!

The cabin was very neat and well stocked with everything you might need in the kitchen. The natural wood finish inside gave it the feel of a cabin and the view of the mtn ridges was really nice. Part of the property was partly cleared off of trees which made it more open than expected but the leaves were still off the trees, it was March, so it will look more greener in the Spring. The numerous mountains and narrow valleys in the area were a pretty sight to see!

My first hours started to no good: my bed sheets weren't changed and they were hairs all over the bed. I had to email them to have clean sheets the date on my arrival. They were there at 9pm to do it. At the room you don't have enough space to put your clothes, I left my suitcase opened at the living room, for my entire stay. There are no drawers, or dressers, nothing, just some hangers at the closet that doesn't even have shelves. The cabin is smaller that it seems, just for reference you can not open the refrigerator door and the bathroom door at the same time, there is not enough space on that hall, and of course for obvious reasons, is not ideal that your bathroom is in front of your kitchen. They are lacking plates and pots; for my thanksgiving dinner I had to use some plastic bowls because I couldn't fit everything in the 4 plates I had. The photos of the cabin make it look spacious, believe me is not. If you don't mind the space, good for you, but I am used to be able to have comfort even if its a small cabin. We used only the bedroom TV, the one on the living room: Netflix doesn't work, it has HD problems.We spent all our nights on top of each other, the bed has a sunk at the middle and there is no way to sleep other than that. Not a pleasant experience when you go to enjoy time alone with your partners and you end up not enjoying the trip.

Our stay was amazing. The scenery and location of the cabin was awesome. It was very clean and cozy. Making the reservations were very simple and there were no problems with checking in. We definately plan to go back.

We like the country and mountains and the ability to have a full kitchen, and this place checked all the boxes. The cabin was clean and well maintained. Any questions that we had were promptly answered. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great couple of days staying in the cabin. It was very clean and just as described in the ad. Very private location and the mountin view is great. Its about a 15 min drive to West Jefferson and 20 mins from Lansing. Theres lots to do in the area if you're looking for a couple day getaway trip. We'll definately consider staying here again innthe future.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It has everything we needed and more. The kitchen is well equipped. It is clean, quiet and close to West Jefferson and surrounding areas. If you are looking for someplace close to sightseeing or just need a place to relax and reset, this is it!

We stayed for a quick weekend trip for the wedding planning process with my mom. It was just perfect for the two of us! Super clean and just the perfect amount of space!

Very relaxing stay. Just right for two people.

everything was excellent, except I could not get the Wi Fi on my laptop or my iPhone. I tried multiple times. It said incorrect password. The password was excessively long and complicated, and would not work. It cost me $45.00 for extra data from my provider because I could not connect. I tried multiple times every day.

Quaint and cozy...

The property is located a short drive away from West Jefferson and Lansing. It’s a cute mountain cabin with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, I stayed during hurricane helene so I was not able to enjoy the property as intended. The partial owner of the house was great and came to check in on me when the power went out. He even brought me some soup! I am looking forward to coming back once western NC is back on their feet <3

This was such a lovely visit! My daughter and I had a great time! The host was so gracious. He had to guide us to our direct cabin (as we had a couple hours drive in the dark and arrived later than planned). He was very nice and patient with us. The cabin was perfect and was secluded just what I wanted. My 10 year old appreciated the peace and quiet and beauty of the mountains. We will definitely be back! 10 out of 10 recommend!

I was looking for a quiet space near West Jefferson. This cabin is a 20-minute drive to town. The pictures don't do the mountain view justice - it's just lovely. The cabin had all I needed to be able to cook each night. It was a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Clean, well-stocked cabin in a good location near West Jefferson. Not far from Mount Rogers to see ponies if you’re lucky!

Loved this cabin! Fantastic views, quiet for wildlife, healing, and close to mount Rogers as well as a West Jefferson reviews, a great little town for shopping and eating alike.

Loved the area but a bit remote. Found great parks with hiking trails and especially liked the Elks Shoals river access. Trees were beginning to turn - Cabin views were beautiful.

The cabin was great. The location was a little to isolated.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a perfect place for a couple who want to be in a secluded property. Close to West Jefferson but far enough away for perfect peace and quiet.
