Perfect, dog friendly, rental in KDH. The house has all the basics you need and the best part is the large fenced yard. It’s always a pain to have to walk your dog every time they need to go out so this was a great feature. Property manager was very responsive to our questions and needs. We will return.

The property was clean and had absolutely everything we needed and then some! They even had dog food and water bowls in addition to the large crate and secure, fenced-in backyard area. Nice kitchen area and cozy family room to stream your favorite shows. My absolute favorite spot was the deck above the driveway where I enjoyed my coffee each morning before heading to the beach. It’s on a very quiet cul-de-sac in a nice neighborhood. The sun rises on the back of the house so the front deck is super comfortable in the morning. On the last night my husband and I finally sat outside on the uppermost deck. The breeze up there really made the July heat insignificant. We also enjoyed making S’mores around the fire pit. I will describe the distance to the beach. We rented bikes and rode them to the beach each day. It probably wasn’t more than 5 minutes except that you definitely want to cross the busy highway at the light and sometimes the wait for the light is longer than the actual bike ride. Not a problem at all. Very close. We never walked it but saw many people who did. There are other close beach accesses with parking for cars. The beach itself is very nice with soft light brown sand. Waves are good for surfing and boogie boarding. There was a lifeguard on duty at the beach access that we used and the beach was lively but not crowded. We also enjoyed riding bikes along the multi-use path that runs parallel to the bay. We would definitely stay here again!
