We were in the area for a wedding, and this quaint little house was very cute, very relaxing, and a quiet little house to come home to. Most of our time spent at the house was during the morning’s. I enjoyed my coffee sitting in the relaxing backyard garden.

As others have said, the welcoming music sets the tone. Comfortable and clean living room, relaxing gas fireplace (Which we used a lot given the rainy weather!), and very comfortable beds and beddings. Well stocked kitchen, including some appreciated treats. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking to Palooza Brewery, for a pub meal, and two wineries Kenwood, and VJB - great tasting with food. Also quick drive to a delicious dinner at Salt & Stone and a gorgeous hike up to Bald Mountain in Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Thank you Don and Amy for sharing your special home with us.

Thai cottage is even nicer than the pics and the hosts make it a remarkable experience. It’s close to great restaurants and wineries. The backyard is an oasis and the cottage feels at home the minute you walk in. The bed linens are lovely and Don and Amy know the little items that make it feel like home. Will be back next year…

Our stay in the Kenwood House was absolutely delightful. It’s an older home with incredible charm and character that’s been updated and the photos do not do it justice, especially the backyard, which was literally an expansive botanical oasis. It was a great homebase for our journey to all the vineyards in Napa and Sonoma counties and we had a delightful dinner one night at a nearby gastropub and brewery. Also the tasting room for Ty Caton vineyards near the gastropub was an unexpected surprise. I do have to share that our flight to SFO was delayed so we would be arriving at the house much later than expected. As we got closer to the town of Kenwood we couldn’t find a grocery store using the maps feature on our phones (not sure why as we later located a Safeway about 15 minutes from the house) but did find a 7-Eleven where we purchased a bottle of wine and some snacks. We needn’t have bothered because when we got to the house there was a bottle of Kenwood Vineyards wine and a wheel of Camembert cheese and some crackers waiting for us – such a treat! We would stay here again in a heart beat!

Close to many wineries, close to world-class dining. access to grocery stores/markets. Amy and Don were so easy to work with. They were very helpful in making suggestions and even helping to coordinate certain aspects of our trip. We communicated a few times during our stay and they were always very responsive. Fantastic cottage for 2 families to enjoy for 3 nights. We were welcomed with the sweetest little gifts and bottled water which we truly enjoyed. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were updated and clean. Loved the music as we entered the home, was so welcoming. We spent some time out front and enjoyed the rockers to relax. The grounds are filled with beautiful plants and trees that looked beautiful. Thank you for such a great stay.

We loved our stay at the Kenwood house! The property was perfect for a girl weekend with 4 guests - we didn’t want to leave. The backyard is so charming and quiet - great for reading, relaxing in the hot tub, or enjoying a meal in the backyard. The hosts were so thoughtful and responsive. There are a few shops and restaurants in walking distance, but it was also super easy to get an uber to explore most of Sonoma county. I can’t recommend the kenwood house enough!

Great 2BR cottage for a wine country getaway! Excellent, well-stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Great patio and garden area out back. Comfortable beds and high quality linens. Very quiet at night! The seating in the living room was very comfortable and the fireplace provided nice warmth on the cool evenings. The homeowners are very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I can't say enough about how much we loved the Kenwood House! Charming, lovely home with beautiful yards and quiet neighborhood. The pictures don't do it justice. It's truly wonderful! And the home is spotless and equipped with everything we needed. It's also in a good central location between Glen Ellen / downtown Sonoma and the Santa Rosa area. Not having stayed in many vacation homes before I was prepared to be disappointed. But instead, was so happily surprised. And another in our family, who has stayed in many vacation homes, said this was the best experience he's had. We will recommend this home to anyone going to Sonoma!

We had a lovely experience staying at the Kenwood Cottage. It was very comfortable, had everything we needed and more! Our hosts were responsive and invested in us having an awesome experience. We felt at home and welcomed-fliowers, wine and cheese included!! It was a quiet and perfect location for our wine country adventure! Highly recommend!

The Kenwood House was exactly everything we hoped it would be. A country cottage with all the modern touches to make our visit comfy, cozy and convenient. Hiked in Jack London park, headed over the mountain one day to visit Napa area, then up to Healdsburg the second day for a wonderful wine tasting at Stonestreet Winery. Enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. We recommend The Kenwood House to anyone looking for a country home away from home

We had a lovely experience staying at the Kenwood Cottage. It was very comfortable, had everything we needed and more! Our hosts were responsive and invested in us having an awesome experience. We felt at home and welcomed-fliowers, wine and cheese included!! It was a quiet and perfect location for our wine country adventure! Highly recommend!

Everything was wonderful!! Beautiful property and amazing views in the neighborhood. Very smooth process with check-in and out, and even had a wonderful chilled bottle of wine and cheese and crackers waiting for us with our arrival. Also had music playing when we walked in was very welcoming!!!

This was a great place to stay at! It is located on a very quiet street with easy access to the main highway. Communication with owners was fantastic. They answered questions promptly. They also left us with some nice treats. I would definitely stay here again. Owners treated us with special treats on our arrival.

Had a great time at this beautiful cottage in Kenwood Don and Amy were great to work with and very responsive with any request or questions we had. Will definitely rent again Perfect place to enjoy wine country

Our stay in the Kenwood House was absolutely delightful. It’s an older home with incredible charm and character that’s been updated and the photos do not do it justice, especially the backyard, which was literally an expansive botanical oasis. It was a great homebase for our journey to all the vineyards in Napa and Sonoma counties and we had a delightful dinner one night at a nearby gastropub and brewery. Also the tasting room for Ty Caton vineyards near the gastropub was an unexpected surprise. I do have to share that our flight to SFO was delayed so we would be arriving at the house much later than expected. As we got closer to the town of Kenwood we couldn’t find a grocery store using the maps feature on our phones (not sure why as we later located a Safeway about 15 minutes from the house) but did find a 7-Eleven where we purchased a bottle of wine and some snacks. We needn’t have bothered because when we got to the house there was a bottle of Kenwood Vineyards wine and a wheel of Camembert cheese and some crackers waiting for us – such a treat! We would stay here again in a heart beat!

The Kenwood House is so quaint, peaceful and beautiful! The location is perfect! Don and Amy are incredible hosts. We walked into the house to find gentle music playing, great bottle of wine and assortment of cheese in the fridge. Box of crackers on the counter and a personalized welcome letter. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s before but this way by far the best. They even had bottled water, eggs, milk in the fridge so we didn’t have to run right out to the grocery store. You can tell this is much more than a VRBO property to them. The location is perfect, you can walk to restaurants and a great winery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!

We have stayed at this Wine Country home many times in the past and will be scheduling many more in the future. Home is convenient to visiting many nearby Sonoma wineries with fine dining at Salt and Stone, great pizzas at VJB Winery and Tips restaurant for top BBQ. Owners are wonderful and always available for getting back quickly on any questions

Close to many wineries, close to world-class dining. access to grocery stores/markets. Amy and Don were so easy to work with. They were very helpful in making suggestions and even helping to coordinate certain aspects of our trip. We communicated a few times during our stay and they were always very responsive. We loved our stay at the Kenwood house! The property was perfect for a girl weekend with 4 guests - we didn’t want to leave. The backyard is so charming and quiet - great for reading, relaxing in the hot tub, or enjoying a meal in the backyard. The hosts were so thoughtful and responsive. There are a few shops and restaurants in walking distance, but it was also super easy to get an uber to explore most of Sonoma county. I can’t recommend the kenwood house enough!

Great 2BR cottage for a wine country getaway! Excellent, well-stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Great patio and garden area out back. Comfortable beds and high quality linens. Very quiet at night! The seating in the living room was very comfortable and the fireplace provided nice warmth on the cool evenings. The homeowners are very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

As others have said, the welcoming music sets the tone. Comfortable and clean living room, relaxing gas fireplace (Which we used a lot given the rainy weather!), and very comfortable beds and beddings. Well stocked kitchen, including some appreciated treats. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking to Palooza Brewery, for a pub meal, and two wineries Kenwood, and VJB - great tasting with food. Also quick drive to a delicious dinner at Salt & Stone and a gorgeous hike up to Bald Mountain in Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Thank you Don and Amy for sharing your special home with us.

Would highly recommend this property. This is our second year here. Hiked Sugar Loaf Ridge State Park. Great hike. Great property location to wonderful wineries. Walking distance to Kunde, En Garde and VJB.

My family and I can't say enough about how much we loved the Kenwood House! Charming, lovely home with beautiful yards and quiet neighborhood. The pictures don't do it justice. It's truly wonderful! And the home is spotless and equipped with everything we needed. It's also in a good central location between Glen Ellen / downtown Sonoma and the Santa Rosa area. Not having stayed in many vacation homes before I was prepared to be disappointed. But instead, was so happily surprised. And another in our family, who has stayed in many vacation homes, said this was the best experience he's had. We will recommend this home to anyone going to Sonoma!

The Kenwood House was exactly everything we hoped it would be. A country cottage with all the modern touches to make our visit comfy, cozy and convenient. Hiked in Jack London park, headed over the mountain one day to visit Napa area, then up to Healdsburg the second day for a wonderful wine tasting at Stonestreet Winery. Enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. We recommend The Kenwood House to anyone looking for a country home away from home

Kenwood House is surrounded by gardens and rocks and gates and walkways - a beautiful setting for a cozy, perfectly equipped house. We were very close to wineries, great restaurants and shopping but were also able to snuggle into the comfort of this home.

Thai cottage is even nicer than the pics and the hosts make it a remarkable experience. It’s close to great restaurants and wineries. The backyard is an oasis and the cottage feels at home the minute you walk in. The bed linens are lovely and Don and Amy know the little items that make it feel like home. Will be back next year…

Fantastic cottage for 2 families to enjoy for 3 nights. We were welcomed with the sweetest little gifts and bottled water which we truly enjoyed. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were updated and clean. Loved the music as we entered the home, was so welcoming. We spent some time out front and enjoyed the rockers to relax. The grounds are filled with beautiful plants and trees that looked beautiful. Thank you for such a great stay.

My wife and i absolutely LOVED the Kenwood House! Perfect location, clean, private, comfortable, and the owners could not have been nicer! Very well stocked home. What we really loved is that it was not in the super-busy areas of the Napa valley, but everything was within 30 mins. As we were driving through Napa, Sonoma, etc., we kept saying how glad we were to be staying where we were. Those areas are nice, but pretty congested. There are great restaurants and wineries close by - Palooza for casual, VRB for food and wine and our favorite was the Mill at Glen Ellen. This was the perfect vacation to our 25 yr anniversary and made more special by the home and the owners. We did not use the hot tub, but we did enjoy sitting in the gardens and having a glass of wine. If you are unsure of where to stay, please give this strong consideration. It is great!!

What we really loved is that it was not in the super-busy areas of the Napa valley, but everything was within 30 mins. As we were driving through Napa, Sonoma, etc., we kept saying how glad we were to be staying where we were. Those areas are nice, but pretty congested. There are great restaurants and wineries close by - Palooza for casual, VRB for food and wine and our favorite was the Mill at Glen Ellen. This was the perfect vacation to our 25 yr anniversary and made more special by the home and the owners. We did not use the hot tub, but we did enjoy sitting in the gardens and having a glass of wine. If you are unsure of where to stay, please give this strong consideration. It is great!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Kenwood House! The house is beautifully decorated, stocked with everything you need, and very comfortable!The outside is an incredible oasis; we enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. We would definitely return and highly recommend The Kenwood House!!

We had a wonderful week at Kenwood House. The fireplace and hot tub were a plus. The house was very cozy and well stocked.
