Houghs Cabin

We loved our stay at Houghs Cabin. We loved the well appointed cabin, the cleanliness, the quality of the linen and all aspects of it. The garden was a delight for us and our dog.Communication leading up to ourstay and also after we settled in was excellent.And such a peaceful and pretty aspect. We will be returning to do it all again. Thank you.

We booked this accommodation as I was playing in a 2 day tournament at Bright Golf Club. It is a lovely cabin just on the outskirts of town. For the energetic, you could easily walk / ride into town. The cabin had everything we needed. It is Pet Friendly too which meant our four legged family member didn't miss out either.

Nice cabin and a good dog friendly yard

Great location close to town, shops and eateries but also quiet enough to relax and enjoy getting away. Clean and comfortable with a good kitchenette and large bathroom. Good for a small family or couple.

Overall a beautiful location and well appointed house. My only complaint would be about the extra charge for using the 2nd bedroom when I made it very clear at the time of booking it was for 2 adults (mother & adult daughter) who would require a bedroom each. It was only a few days before when I reminded the holiday agent I was then charged an extra $35 per night to be allowed access and use of the second bedroom. It should not be assumed that two adults travelling together would sleep in the same bed let alone the same room.
