We stayed in shanty creek at another great vrbo condo in the fall, and wanted to come back for holiday break with the family to introduce our 6 year old to skiing and were not disappointed. We used the indoor pool, and hotel cafe right in our condo area, sledded directly behind the condo unit on fresh powder with all 3 kids, and drove to nearby resort at cedar river to rent gear and ski. Condo layout was perfect for our 2 adult 3 kid family, especially easy loading/unloading from car to door for this unit. Owners responded quickly to a couple questions even during the main holiday stretch. Great all in all.

A well appointed condo. Nice that each bedroom had its bathroom unsweet. And the master even had a two-piece bathroom. All very functional. There was a countertop ice maker which worked well. We cooked in so ran the dishwasher every day and there were plenty of plates and silverware. We loved the happy hour at the Lakeview hotel. 5:00 to 6:30. Very cheap drinks and appetizers which were huge and delicious. We also utilized the grills and watched sunset over Lake Bellaire one evening and there were bathrooms that stay open until 9:00 p.m. it was fun having a patio that was right on the golf course. And it was next to the tennis courts. We were able to watch the golfers and tennis players each morning while having coffee and watching the turkeys cross the greens . A pair of white breasted nut hatches apparently live out there as well so there is a little bit of burning to be had. There was an outdoor pool open till 10:00 and indoor pool and hot tub open till 11:00 and another hot tub in the fitness center open till 10:00 p.m. that we did not utilize because we're having so much fun exploring the area we never made it back to that!

We had the best weekend away. It was relaxing, clean, spacious, and fun. There’s skiing, tubing, a pool and hot tub and some restaurants walking distance away. We are excited to come back and experience it in the summer time! Definitely recommend

Olivia and Steve were very helpful and attentive with our booking. The condo had everything that we needed for our 5-night stay. Shanty Creek needs some updating and attention. The pool next to our building had only 5 old chairs and a few tables. Other than that, a great stay all around. Gregg and Kim Halstead.

Our family of 5 stayed here and it was as advertised. We had zero issues the entire time and the views are unbelievable. We used all of the pools, the condo pool is a 30 second walk, so it was perfect. We will definitely be back! Thanks!

Condo was in excellent condition and exceptionally clean. Check in process was seamless and convenient, and the view from the balcony is amazing. It’s close to Torch Lake which was the primary purpose of our trip. The resort is a little dated but still nice. We were really happy with this quick last minute get away.

The condo was clean and as described. We all had fun. It was unfortunate that the washer was not working but definitely still worth the stay. Host was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again. Perks of the pool and beach were a plus.

It’s a cute little condo. It’s clean and good to sleep, has a few pools available for renters. Just a bit small it’s listed to sleep 8 I had a crew of 6 including my baby and it felt a bit tight so it’s a good place just for a smaller family. Overall nice clean and beautiful view!

We've stayed at this condo several times and we are never disappointed. It's always clean, cozy and very relaxing. We did notice a few subtle upgrades and changes this time, that enhanced the stay. Looking forward to our next visit!

The property was very nice and easy to find. If you do have a problem with stairs or hills this particular condo isn't the one for you. It was a little bit more than what we expected but we did manage. Ran into a raccoon one night on my way out to watch the Northern lights. The place was clean, but there were two small cobwebs which is to be expected. There is everything that you need in the kitchen including an electric griddle. The frying pans are good and there are plenty of utensils. The baddest comfortable and the master bathroom is a dream with the jetted tub. There is a four seasons room but not all the doors open so you don't get the crossbreeds that you would hope. But there is a small balcony off of the four seasons room which is where we spent a lot of time. Overall it was a very nice place and we would stay there again.

Very nice place that is just as it looks in pictures. I have stayed in a number of the condos at Shanty Creek’s Summit village before and this was the best by far. Would definitely stay again. The beds were the best part, super comfortable!

We had a great time at this condo. We’ve been going to Shanty for 10+ years with family and friends, so we know the area well. We visited during peak fall colors and commented that this home was the best spot for fall views. Close to the Lakeview hotel which has restaurants and bars. Including the infamous Mike at Sarducci’s Creekside, IYKYK. Just a short drive or shuttle to downtown Bellaire and great hiking trails. Throughout our stay, and before, Olivia was easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as stated, check in was smooth, condo was clean, we appreciated having a little "extra" of the necessities (TP, paper towel, garbage bags, etc....) so you don't have to run out and get more. Olivia always replied promptly when messaged. Location is absolutely amazing, unbeatable sunsets!!

The property was nice. We should have rented something larger which is our fault. The view would have been nice if we could see it through the wildfire smoke (again, no fault of the owner). This is our fourth trip to Michigan and we stay somewhere different in this region each time. The condo is not close to the water and the private beach must be driven to. The entire beach swimming area is only knee deep. It is very clean. We rented a pontoon boat and took that from Belair Lake to Torch Lake where the Antrim Co Sheriffs Office was out in full force targeting and harassing tourists. Overall, the condo was fine but we will not revisit that area.

Condo was in excellent condition and exceptionally clean. Check in process was seamless and convenient, and the view from the balcony is amazing. It’s close to Torch Lake which was the primary purpose of our trip. The resort is a little dated but still nice. We were really happy with this quick last minute get away.

We had a great time at this condo. We’ve been going to Shanty for 10+ years with family and friends, so we know the area well. We visited during peak fall colors and commented that this home was the best spot for fall views. Close to the Lakeview hotel which has restaurants and bars. Including the infamous Mike at Sarducci’s Creekside, IYKYK. Just a short drive or shuttle to downtown Bellaire and great hiking trails. Throughout our stay, and before, Olivia was easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed in shanty creek at another great vrbo condo in the fall, and wanted to come back for holiday break with the family to introduce our 6 year old to skiing and were not disappointed. We used the indoor pool, and hotel cafe right in our condo area, sledded directly behind the condo unit on fresh powder with all 3 kids, and drove to nearby resort at cedar river to rent gear and ski. Condo layout was perfect for our 2 adult 3 kid family, especially easy loading/unloading from car to door for this unit. Owners responded quickly to a couple questions even during the main holiday stretch. Great all in all.

A well appointed condo. Nice that each bedroom had its bathroom unsweet. And the master even had a two-piece bathroom. All very functional. There was a countertop ice maker which worked well. We cooked in so ran the dishwasher every day and there were plenty of plates and silverware. We loved the happy hour at the Lakeview hotel. 5:00 to 6:30. Very cheap drinks and appetizers which were huge and delicious. We also utilized the grills and watched sunset over Lake Bellaire one evening and there were bathrooms that stay open until 9:00 p.m. it was fun having a patio that was right on the golf course. And it was next to the tennis courts. We were able to watch the golfers and tennis players each morning while having coffee and watching the turkeys cross the greens . A pair of white breasted nut hatches apparently live out there as well so there is a little bit of burning to be had. There was an outdoor pool open till 10:00 and indoor pool and hot tub open till 11:00 and another hot tub in the fitness center open till 10:00 p.m. that we did not utilize because we're having so much fun exploring the area we never made it back to that!

The property was very nice and easy to find. If you do have a problem with stairs or hills this particular condo isn't the one for you. It was a little bit more than what we expected but we did manage. Ran into a raccoon one night on my way out to watch the Northern lights. The place was clean, but there were two small cobwebs which is to be expected. There is everything that you need in the kitchen including an electric griddle. The frying pans are good and there are plenty of utensils. The baddest comfortable and the master bathroom is a dream with the jetted tub. There is a four seasons room but not all the doors open so you don't get the crossbreeds that you would hope. We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is updated and fresh. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed when cooking. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely rent this property again!
