Lovely apartment with all the amenities you could want. The view was fantastic, and Joe was available and helpful, too. It was very quiet and peaceful - we would stay here again.

Great location and owner. Joe's attention to detail is above and beyond, he has thought of it all! Soap and supplies for kitchen. Travel soaps and shampoos in bathroom. Extra blankets in the closets. Luggage racks. He went the extra mile to have a fire prepped for us outside in the fire ring. The rental has all of the basic amenities, a great dining table for meals and games, and well written instructions for "How To's" around the property. Gas fireplace in living room makes for a cozy spot in the evening when we had rain and couldnt have the fire in the outside pit. We will be looking to stay here again on our future North Shore adventures.

The property is stunning, the location is great, and Joe (host) helped make it a magical experience.The property is beautiful, with easy access to Lake Superior. We spent many hours exploring the shoreline in front of the property, had many bonfires, and enjoyed all the views of Lake Superior. The home was very nice and very clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay.Joe was such a wonderful host, and worked hard to ensure the stay was great. He gave us lots of privacy unless we had questions or wanted to chat. Joe, the owner made the house perfect. He had a fire ready to go every night and was available to answer our questions about the area. The house itself accommodated all of our needs. The location is awesome. You have great views of the lake and can even walk along the beach, if you can manage several steps. You are surrounded by trees and you feel like you have your own private backyard with deer and bunnies. when I come back to Duluth, I will stay here again, it was also one of the cleanest vacation homes I have rented. Thank you, Joe for making our trip to Duluth perfect.

It was a wonderful extended weekend. We had everything we needed and the property was perfectly located to enjoyed Duluth and Amnicon Falls. The lake access from the front yard was our kids’ favorite part of the vacation. Joe was an excellent host and we would definitely recommend his property to others.

My wife & I thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and well kept, had a nice view of Lake Superior and steps down to the beach. Was 15 min to Duluth or 10 min to Two Harbors, so convenient access to activities, yet a quiet setting with daily visits from deer, rabbit & humming birds. Definitely would stay there again.

We spent 3 nights here and everything was as described. Joe has notes everywhere explaining where things are and how they work so you can settle in quickly. Yard was too soggy to spend time on due to 4 days of heavy rains but view was great, wind through pines, waves breaking on the rocks, tankers gliding by in the distance. And a fawn and doe in the backyard one morning. Highly recommend.

Joe was a wonderful host, always available when we had a question, offered recommendations of the area and was very kind. He's done a fantastic job with directions in the unit to find everything and the furniture is super comfy. All the creature comforts and items needed to enjoy a relaxing week. Sitting on the swing overlooking the lake drinking coffee...wonderful! We'd definitely stay here again!!

This was a very nice place, right on the Lake. Very comfortable. There was even a fire laid in the firepit, unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate.

First impressions are always the best, and when you first walk in and see the incredible view of Lake Superior through the large living room window, you know you have 'struck gold'....Upon closer inspection, you'll find this cabin to be spotless, well equipped, comfortable and there are no words to describe how gracioius Joe (the owner) is....He went above and beyond anything one could ask for. For animal lovers, deer come to the yard most nights and Joe hung a few bird feeders and in a matter of minutes birds came from everywhere. We counted at least 12 species in just a few days. The living room furniture is extremely comfy and there were lots of little extra's around (kleenex, hand soap, shampoo) and super soft towels....Can't say enough good things about our 5 night stay....Highly recommend.

One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we have stayed. The place is incredibly clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Joe is really friendly, helpful, and respectful of your privacy. This location is perfectly situated on the north shore between Duluth and Two Harbors and all the amazingly beautiful places to see. Lots of local wildlife and birds around the yard. Even a black squirrel, which is very rare to see. Highly recommend staying here. Would love to go back and stay again.

Home was spotlessly clean, comfortable and right on Lake Superior. Delightful setting. Easy drive to restaurants and shopping options and easily accessible to parks all along the North Shore. If you want that "get-away" feel while still being an easy drive to conveniences, this is it!

This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. It is close to Duluth, Two Harbors, Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse, restuarants, and hiking trails. We enjoyed sitting around the fire looking at the stars. The cabin was spotlessly clean. Joe, the host, is the best. We had a great time.

The house is halfway between Duluth and Two Harbors, offering access to a lot of options. The view of Lake Superior was great and the ship watching was fun. The house was well furnished and very clean. The proprietor was attentive and helpful when needed, and his expectations were clear. The kitchen was stocked for basic cooking. My family loved our stay here! The place was a perfect size for the 4 of us, the view was spectacular (especially at sunrise), cozy atmosphere, and it is in a great location. You are able to get into Duluth or Two Harbors in 15/20 minutes. We would love to stay here again.

Joe was a wonderful host, always available when we had a question, offered recommendations of the area and was very kind. He's done a fantastic job with directions in the unit to find everything and the furniture is super comfy. All the creature comforts and items needed to enjoy a relaxing week. Sitting on the swing overlooking the lake drinking coffee...wonderful! We'd definitely stay here again!!

This was a very nice place, right on the Lake. Very comfortable. There was even a fire laid in the firepit, unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate.

Great location and owner. Joe's attention to detail is above and beyond, he has thought of it all! Soap and supplies for kitchen. Travel soaps and shampoos in bathroom. Extra blankets in the closets. Luggage racks. He went the extra mile to have a fire prepped for us outside in the fire ring. The rental has all of the basic amenities, a great dining table for meals and games, and well written instructions for "How To's" around the property. Gas fireplace in living room makes for a cozy spot in the evening when we had rain and couldnt have the fire in the outside pit. We will be looking to stay here again on our future North Shore adventures.

The property is stunning, the location is great, and Joe (host) helped make it a magical experience.The property is beautiful, with easy access to Lake Superior. We spent many hours exploring the shoreline in front of the property, had many bonfires, and enjoyed all the views of Lake Superior. The home was very nice and very clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay.Joe was such a wonderful host, and worked hard to ensure the stay was great. He gave us lots of privacy unless we had questions or wanted to chat. He would always have the fire pit ready to go for us, and gave us good recommendations on where to explore on the beach in front of his property.We were so impressed by this property, and hope we are lucky enough to stay there again some day!

One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we have stayed. The place is incredibly clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Joe is really friendly, helpful, and respectful of your privacy. This location is perfectly situated on the north shore between Duluth and Two Harbors and all the amazingly beautiful places to see. Lots of local wildlife and birds around the yard. Even a black squirrel, which is very rare to see. Highly recommend staying here. Would love to go back and stay again.

This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. It is close to Duluth, Two Harbors, Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse, restuarants, and hiking trails. We enjoyed sitting around the fire looking at the stars. The cabin was spotlessly clean. Joe, the host, is the best. We had a great time.

My family loved our stay here! The place was a perfect size for the 4 of us, the view was spectacular (especially at sunrise), cozy atmosphere, and it is in a great location. You are able to get into Duluth or Two Harbors in 15/20 minutes. We would love to stay here again.

My wife & I thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and well kept, had a nice view of Lake Superior and steps down to the beach. Was 15 min to Duluth or 10 min to Two Harbors, so convenient access to activities, yet a quiet setting with daily visits from deer, rabbit & humming birds. Definitely would stay there again.

Home was spotlessly clean, comfortable and right on Lake Superior. Delightful setting. Easy drive to restaurants and shopping options and easily accessible to parks all along the North Shore. If you want that "get-away" feel while still being an easy drive to conveniences, this is it!

It's a beautiful property, with private area overlooking lake Superior. We had a fire one night, is still a little chilly here but we enjoyed it. Joe is a great host! Stores and shops are close by, Must visit trading Post small business, owners were great.
