Great property with excellent amenities. The community pool was wonderful. Property was well stocked and clean. Beds were comfortable. Owners/Managers were very communicative and helpful.

The teen boys had their own little place just steps from the main cabin. I could hear them laughing. The main cabin was perfect with a wood stove. The beds were comfy. The fridge was severely lacking though. But then, a cooler on the porch during the winter worked.

The cabin was great and very clean with a cool layout that allowed for family hangout time on a big deck and open living area/kitchen, but also a separate bedroom to put the baby to sleep and allow others to stay up without disturbing him. Communication was overall good. Would recommend to others for any time of year.

The air conditioning and fans were wonderful during the heatwave! The Queen bed was very comfortable and our older daughter enjoyed having her own space on the 2nd bedroom. The little cabin had everything we needed and was close enough to easily explore Mt Rainier National Park.

Could use a place to store wood to keep it dry as it is hard to heat house wifh wood stove when wood is wet, their is another heat sorce but the idea of the cabin experience would be to have a fir in the wood stove

They have everything you might need incase you forget something. Loved that they had a washer and dryer. They are super responsive and answered right away if you have an issue or question. Loved our stay and it was in a perfect location.

Very happy to find this dog friendly stay! Our only thing that we would have appreciated would have been better lighting. We had to use our headlamps to clean our foraging finds and to cook to see well enough.

While the weather wasnt what was hoped for this cute little cabin made it worth while for our first trip to Packwood. Clean, cozy, had all the amenities we needed and we slept amazing on the comfy bed. The neighborhood made for great morning and evening walks with the pup (thank you for the pet extras). The deck (even in the rain) was just what was needed for coffee and evening cocktail listening to the rain, cozied up under the little covered area. We will be back!

This location was perfect! It was tucked away, lots of privacy, clean, cozy and pretty private. The town of Packwood is charming and this location made it very easy to get to. We loved our stay and the trip to Rainer was awesome. Rachel was amazing at communicating with me! We had zero issues with our stay. Highly recommended!

The cabin smelled of cigarette smoke and was muggy. The pillow and sheets in the children’s room smelled. The air-condition was noisy in the children’s room. This cabin is meant for 2 adults and 2 small kids. Not meant for 5 adults although I selected and paid for 5 adults. Disappointed for the price I paid for the cabin.

The cabin was clean and quiet. Probably the only thing we *could* have wanted during our stay was a basting brush for barbecue sauce, and thats not a complaint thats me being amazed at just how much this cabin had to offer! Not only was is a wonderfully relaxing vacation away from our normal lives, I also felt like I wasnt going to stress over lacking a thing. They truly thought of everything. The booking process was simple, the check in and check out process were easy, and property management was available if ever we needed them. Myself and my fiance would be excited to stay again.

this cabin would be best suited for the younger crowd. There are several steps to negotiate and we are booth into our seventies. A strong suggestion would be to rent in the summer or winter (snowy) season.We stayed during the first rain of the season and listened to the rain on the roof dripping from the trees all night.Did not sleep well. Because of the rain we were unable to use the porch or barbecue. This is a fine cabin to stay in but plan for the sunny season
this cabin would be best suited for the younger crowd. There are several steps to negotiate and we are booth into our seventies. Very happy to find this dog friendly stay! Our only thing that we would have appreciated would have been better lighting. We had to use our headlamps to clean our foraging finds and to cook to see well enough.

The cabin was clean and quiet. Probably the only thing we *could* have wanted during our stay was a basting brush for barbecue sauce, and thats not a complaint thats me being amazed at just how much this cabin had to offer! Not only was is a wonderfully relaxing vacation away from our normal lives, I also felt like I wasnt going to stress over lacking a thing. They truly thought of everything. The booking process was simple, the check in and check out process were easy, and property management was available if ever we needed them. Myself and my fiance would be excited to stay again.

Property was nice, cabin also nice and cozy. There were fire restrictions, therefore we could not enjoy it to its fullest. NOTE: To owner, front door is nice and we appreciate the glass; however when someone walks out, that door comes back into the table and slams hard. Eventually an unfortunate guest will have to deal with calling about a broken door glass. Otherwise, all else was " Awesome "

Overall, this being our first experience in Washington State, we would absolutely stay here again. The cabin is about 10 minutes from Packwood, which has amazing local eateries—we would honestly come back just for Base Camp Coffee and Cliff Droppers alone. We can’t recommend them enough.The cabin is also about 20–30 minutes from some truly beautiful views, and the property itself offers a stunning mountain backdrop you could soak in for hours. It was perfect for our little family (three dogs included) and had the coziest vibe—ideal for snuggling up and relaxing.The kitchen is well stocked with nearly everything you need, there are board games to keep you entertained, and the fireplace is the perfect way to end the night with s’mores. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back.
