We stayed here for a quick getaway to ski and explore the Taos area. The location, house, etc was perfect for what we were looking for. House was in great shape, had a nice backyard, fun game room, open floor plan, and the bedrooms were extremely comfortable. Our host Melissa was responsive and helpful… We will definitely be back.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family. The yard was the best part - space for kids to run around and explore the garden, firepit to relax at in the evening, and beautiful mountain views. Also conveniently located to downtown but nicely secluded for privacy. Highly recommend!

We savored time with family members after our daughter's wedding. We enjoyed coffee in the backyard every morning and time by the fire pit at night.Every room is beautiful and spacious. Organization in every room, impeccable. Close the heart of town and grocery stores/shopping. LOVE this oasis. We will return.

Kitchen was well equipped and very clean. We had fun playing billiards in the game room. Nice location, very scenic and host was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again and also recommend it.

The house was warm and comfortable and the provided amenities were above and beyond what we usually find at a rental. We very much enjoyed the game room. Would highly recommend this property to any small group looking for a nice place to stay near Taos.

This property was hands down the best stay I've ever had when traveling on vacation. The home was extremely cozy and beautiful inside and out. The home had everything you could want to enjoy your stay and was very spacious for our family of 5.(Soon to be 6) There was always something to do while we were here and the kids had a blast with all of the games that were provided. Surprisingly, the property had excellent cell phone coverage and even if it didn't, the wifi was actually very fast. The heater worked very well even with the 13 degree outside temperatures. These guys are pros and I would book again with them in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for providing a home for us to stay in that will leave great memories for many years to come!

We loved the relaxing feel of the home. It was spacious for our family of four. We played pool, and relaxed by the fire pit outside. It was a lot closer to the Taos Plaza and stores than we thought. Great sunset views!

Me & my 2 sisters Niece and a friend had my birthday weekend at Ojo Caliente and needed a place to stay. I found this place for a reasonable price and good location. Saw the pictures & loved it! The home was very clean & beautiful & perfect for what we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Melissa was very prompt for returning any questions i had. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. We really enjoyed our stay here for the weekend. Thank you Melissa for making our stay feel welcomed

We could not have been more pleased with Casa Turquesa. While there was plenty of charm, the house was tastefully updated with all modern conveniences and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Cleanliness was 10/10. Beds were comfortable, towels were fluffy, linens were lovely, and appliances were all new and a pleasure to use. The backyard was beautifully landscaped with some beautiful views, a grill and a easy to use fire pit. We especially enjoyed the lower level pool table room at night. The location in El Prado was perfect for us--easy access to the golf course, downtown and the area's best restaurants. While it was not at all a problem for us, the house is not in any kind of neighborhood; it sits alone next to a landscaping stone business with some unsightly piles However, there was not much activity and it was not noisy, so we did not find it an issue. There are houses down the road but it is relatively isolated on that part of the road. We were there during a particularly hot 2 weeks and while we were expecting portable air conditioners based on the listing, the tower fans kept us comfortable, especially at night with the outside cooler air. Communication with the owners was outstanding and we appreciated the bottle of wine and the welcome note. We would not hesitate to return to this comfortable, charming and welcoming home on our next Taos visit.

The house is clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It is not far from Taos and is located in a quite place where you can enjoy magnificent sunset from the back yard and moon rise from front yard. Backyard is full of plants and you can expect lovely visitors like birds and rabbits. A very pleasant stay!

This place is a gem and the property manager was helpful and responsive. Located on the north end of Taos on the sage-cover plateau, this is a great location if your interests lie in the ski valley or to points north and west of town. The property is freshly remodeled and possibly the cleanest vrbo we’ve rented. It’s well appointed and the back yard is lush and relaxing. There was thought and care in everything about the place from furnishing to the kitchen to games for entertainment.

My granddaughters want to move in, so we left them there. They require little food and water!! Ha ha ha. We ALL loved this house. We appreciated our guest gifts... very nice and classy touch! This house was super clean and nicely decorated! Looks JUST like pics, but cozy in person. We'd return 100% and would recommend to anyone else. Made for a lively family vacation. Thank YOU!!

The owners were responsive and many aspects of the house were great, but check-in was not until 6:30 instead of 4PM until we complained, so got in around 5:30). Owner gave excuse that VRBO was supposed to give them 24 hours between guests. Also WiFi and smart TVs are listed but since max speed is 3mbps, this is rather deceptive since no show can be streamed at that speed. This also means that your devices will not have effective WiFi either. It also listed it as air conditioned, but I didn't see the fine print that they only have 3 portable tower units which wasn't enough to keep it comfortable in July when the temperature was 88 degrees all four days we were there. The drapes are thin and don't help much when kept closed to keep the west sun out in the afternoon. I picked this house because it was away from the hubub of Taos so we could get caught up on sleep. There are no houses around, but there is a dump next door and someone was using it at 7:30AM and then ran their gas powered leaf blower to clean out the bed of the truck. We had all the windows open to keep the house cool enough to sleep, so no sleeping in that AM. The bedding, bath and laundry items were definitely 5 stars.

Our house was perfect for our stay. A lovely backyard, two roomy living areas, a nice kitchen area and great bedrooms/bath. We were close to Taos and the ski valley but in our own quiet setting. The house was very comfortable. The owner was very responsive to any questions.

We were looking for a break from the constant Texas heat so we headed to New Mexico. It was hot in Taos but we put the fans and portable air conditioners to work and it was doable. The property was clean and very quiet, and the bed and pillows were very comfy. We saw a coyote near the house the evening we arrived, and enjoyed watching the sunsets from the beautiful back yard. Don't miss Taos Cow ice cream if you visit.

We had an amazing 5 day, 4 night stay at this wonderful, carefully thought out home very close to the ski valley! It was also extremely close to town so we could enjoy both Taos and Taos Ski Valley (the best ski mountain in the state by far). We had 2 adults and 3 kids which all had a great time playing pool with a side of karaoke! The living room was large, cozy and comfortable with all the comforts of home! There were extra blankets to snuggle up on the couch, EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE BEDDING and pretty much every comfort of home you\'d normally miss. There\'s even new complementary toiletries just in case you forget something at home! Honestly, as soon as my children walked in, they asked if we could buy the house instead of renting it because they loved it so much. There are also great views of the sunsets from the back porch where we were able to relax and get away from the "house views" of the city. Truly, we had a wonderful experience here and could easily spend short or very long stays here without a second thought! P.S. Thank you for the welcome bottle of wine from a great local winery!!

Loved this home. Most everything you need! Clean and cozy, good mattresses , well stocked . Beautiful sun sets , would love to come in the summer and sit outside. Thank you ! Our family lives just a mile or two away on the reservation. One of the magazines in this home featured the top 8 women in toss. My niece was in this magazine. Bonus!!

Great location, quiet and close to the ski valley and town. Home is equipped with all the necessities for a nice stay. The beds and bedding are very good quality and very comfortable. The layout of the home works well for 6 ppl with plenty of room for everyone to have space to relax. If we come back to Taos to ski we will stay here again. Warm and cozy. If bringing food to cook don't forget oil or butter. lol
Great location, quiet and close to the ski valley and town. Home is equipped with all the necessities for a nice stay. The beds and bedding are very good quality and very comfortable. The layout of the home works well for 6 ppl with plenty of room for everyone to have space to relax. If we come back to Taos to ski we will stay here again. Warm and cozy. If bringing food to cook don't forget oil or butter. lol

We stayed here for a quick getaway to ski and explore the Taos area. The location, house, etc was perfect for what we were looking for. House was in great shape, had a nice backyard, fun game room, open floor plan, and the bedrooms were extremely comfortable. Our host Melissa was responsive and helpful… We will definitely be back.

The owners were responsive and many aspects of the house were great, but check-in was not until 6:30 instead of 4PM until we complained, so got in around 5:30). Owner gave excuse that VRBO was supposed to give them 24 hours between guests. Also WiFi and smart TVs are listed but since max speed is 3mbps, this is rather deceptive since no show can be streamed at that speed. This also means that your devices will not have effective WiFi either. It also listed it as air conditioned, but I didn't see the fine print that they only have 3 portable tower units which wasn't enough to keep it comfortable in July when the temperature was 88 degrees all four days we were there. The drapes are thin and don't help much when kept closed to keep the west sun out in the afternoon. I picked this house because it was away from the hubub of Taos so we could get caught up on sleep. There are no houses around, but there is a dump next door and someone was using it at 7:30AM and then ran their gas powered leaf blower to clean out the bed of the truck. We had all the windows open to keep the house cool enough to sleep, so no sleeping in that AM. The bedding, bath and laundry items were definitely 5 stars.

Me & my 2 sisters Niece and a friend had my birthday weekend at Ojo Caliente and needed a place to stay. I found this place for a reasonable price and good location. Saw the pictures & loved it! The home was very clean & beautiful & perfect for what we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Melissa was very prompt for returning any questions i had. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. We really enjoyed our stay here for the weekend. Thank you Melissa for making our stay feel welcomed

Our house was perfect for our stay. A lovely backyard, two roomy living areas, a nice kitchen area and great bedrooms/bath. We were close to Taos and the ski valley but in our own quiet setting. The house was very comfortable. The owner was very responsive to any questions.

This was my second stay at Casa T. Melissa is wonderful and easy to work with. I had previously stayed when coming to Taos to help my mom with sorting out her finances. A few short weeks later my sister and I needed a place to stay as our mom was in the hospital. I immediately contacted Melissa to help book Casa T as I was having trouble pulling up the dates we were coming. She immediately got back to me and made the process easy especially during an already stressful time. The home is equipped with everything you could possibly need and is in the perfect location for all we needed. Thank you Melissa for another wonderful stay. Until next time!

My granddaughters want to move in, so we left them there. They require little food and water!! Ha ha ha. We ALL loved this house. We appreciated our guest gifts... very nice and classy touch! This house was super clean and nicely decorated! Looks JUST like pics, but cozy in person. We'd return 100% and would recommend to anyone else. Made for a lively family vacation. Thank YOU!!

We savored time with family members after our daughter's wedding. We enjoyed coffee in the backyard every morning and time by the fire pit at night.Every room is beautiful and spacious. Organization in every room, impeccable. Close the heart of town and grocery stores/shopping. LOVE this oasis. We will return.

We could not have been more pleased with Casa Turquesa. While there was plenty of charm, the house was tastefully updated with all modern conveniences and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Cleanliness was 10/10. Beds were comfortable, towels were fluffy, linens were lovely, and appliances were all new and a pleasure to use. The backyard was beautifully landscaped with some beautiful views, a grill and a easy to use fire pit. We especially enjoyed the lower level pool table room at night. The location in El Prado was perfect for us--easy access to the golf course, downtown and the area's best restaurants. While it was not at all a problem for us, the house is not in any kind of neighborhood; it sits alone next to a landscaping stone business with some unsightly piles However, there was not much activity and it was not noisy, so we did not find it an issue. There are houses down the road but it is relatively isolated on that part of the road. We were there during a particularly hot 2 weeks and while we were expecting portable air conditioners based on the listing, the tower fans kept us comfortable, especially at night with the outside cooler air. Communication with the owners was outstanding and we appreciated the bottle of wine and the welcome note. We would not hesitate to return to this comfortable, charming and welcoming home on our next Taos visit.

We loved the relaxing feel of the home. It was spacious for our family of four. We played pool, and relaxed by the fire pit outside. It was a lot closer to the Taos Plaza and stores than we thought. Great sunset views!

The house is nicely furnished and has great sunset and sunrise views. However, it was not clean. When I brought this to the owner's attention, she was dismissive and then became hostile and said I left too much hair in the shower and my long black hair was everywhere. Apparently, I was also expected to clean before I left.The biggest issues I had were: 1. One bathtub did not drain well. When I got the water to temperature, I went to let the water in the tub drain before starting the shower and found blobs of shampoo/conditioner floating in the water. I ended up buying supplies and getting the tub to drain and then cleaning it. 2. A bathmat and hand towel both appeared dirty. I thought perhaps these were both just stained (the hand towel looked like it could have be stained with makeup foundation) but I tried washing them anyway, and they came out white and clean. 3. I had to vacuum the floor in all the areas we were (we didn't use the game room or the upstairs bedroom) and the couch, which had pet hair and crumbs (owner refuses to acknowledge despite pictures). I had a few other concerns, but these were the main ones. I would say that if you rent here and have issues, don't expect support from the owner, who went looking for issues with me once I raised mine. She says she walked the house before we checked in and none of these were problems, so I'm wrong. I've stayed in vrbos with issues and still given 4-5 stars depending on owner responsiveness, but cannot here.
