Turquoise Escape ~ 1 Mi to Sailfish Marina!

The home was great and the neighborhood was more quiet than we thought it would be. Provided basically everything you’ll need.

The unit is on the ground floor. The neighborhood it is in is not appealing. After checking in we found not enough towels and the bare minimum (one pot, one frying pan and one small sauce pan) cooking utensils. There were no pyrex and no serving bowls. There were exactly 4 plates. We only had 3 towels for four people. We contacted the owner, who replied that someone had broken the pyrex and she said there were enough towels in the linen cabinet ( there were not). Then we decided to just shwer and go to bed. My wife noticed that the water in the toilet was very yellow. We flushed the toilet ten times and it was still yellow. We ran water out of the spigot and it was cloudy. We decided that we would go to sleep and address it in the morning since it was now after 10 pm. During the night my grandson was coughing and complaining that it was very stuffy (it was). My wife looked at the air conditioning units and found black mold louvres. I then called VRBO at 4am to get us out of there.

Cute property, owner was very communicative and responded fast. It was close to a lot of amenities, very convenient if you have a busy schedule.

We often travel to the area and this worked perfectly for our family. Very convenient to everything we needed.

Overall positive experience. The neighborhood looks a bit run down, but we had no problems. Place was clean & in a convenient location.
