I echo other reviews in that the home was beautiful and comfortably accommodated our whole crew of 11. While the lake is drained, we still had a wonderful time and the views are gorgeous. It is not too far from Ingles, to fully stock the fridge and cook at home with all the lovely kitchen amenities available. The resort options were fun (slight note that putt putt is not included) but the pools and fitness centers were great additions. Definitely recommend!

The condo was perfect because of the lake view and closeness to the Rumbling Bald activites. The older kids were able to walk to the beach, pickleball courts, pool, restaurants etc. The drive is quick if you want to avoid walking the big hill. The condo was very clean and all three families were comfortable. We rented a pontoon at the resort and booked two days of tubing and wake boarding for the kids through Lake Lure Adventure Company. We had a great time staying at the condo and will be back.

We love the location of this property. Well maintained and tastefully decorated the house was very enjoyable. The small sandy beach is perfect for infants. The fish are constantly teasing by jumping in the water. But they are rarely caught!

We enjoyed our stay here despite large disparities in the air conditioning/ temperature between floors and bedrooms. Is worth noting that the A/C does not work at all on enclosed porch, and it remained in the 90s so that room was unusable. The dock is not usable, but we waded into the lake from the ladder near another boat slip. Overall was a great location and we loved the ability to use the pool.

We loved our vacation. Our bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen was complete with all necessary pots and pans. The beach in front of the condo was muddy and rocky and difficult to get to with no clear path. We enjoyed the pool, the beach and miniature golf at Rumbling Bald resort. Our visit was very relaxing.

Very well appointed home with rare combination of gathering space and sanctuary spaces in this very large condo. Great views, easy access to resort amenities, and easy drives to hiking and mountain features. Definitely would stay again.

This was our first time visiting Lake Lure! Despite the lake having been drained and closed there was plenty to do in the Rumbling Bald Resort! We enjoyed visiting 2 out of the 3 pools during our stay. A round of mini golf, some ice cream, and dining at 3 of the on site & nearby restaurants. Not to mention the fireworks and other activities that were going on for the 4th of July weekend. The accommodation was great. A beautiful large home with everything you could possibly need. Communication was also prompt and super helpful for questions we had. We can’t wait to come back!

Condo was clean and on the lake with a lot of room for 2 to 3 families with many views of the lake and mountains. There is 4 levels one level is large space where everyone can be together and have their privacy. My grandchildren loved playing in the condo and running up and down the steps. They also enjoyed being away from the adults and playing games in the game room . You can fish and swim right on the property. My grandson caught a bass. The house is 4 levels, so lots of steps. Really enjoyed the Chicken soup for the soul and Uncle John’s books in the bathroom. You can walk to the resort’s beach area with the indoor pool, hot tub , mini golf , basket ball , restaurants , etc… if you wanted to. It rained or was cloudy the whole time we were there. Would have been better if we would have had one sunny day. The views and large condo was even better when you have to stay inside because of the weather. We did see chimney rock, the hickory nut water falls, the flowering bridge and went on a lake boat tour. Really enjoyed all that we saw. Also ate at Victory Kitchen and Hard Rock Cafe. Both were good.

Our family of 11 spent one week here. The house was so clean, had plenty of room for everyone ranging from 2.5 - 73. The resort had lots to offer, the lake was beautiful and peaceful. The property manager was responsive, and everything was as described.

The stay was perfect. The home was clean, spacious and had everything that your heart desired. The views were gorgeous and all furnishings in the home provided the ultimate comfort. I highly recommend this home and hope to make it back again soon. You could not wish for anything more.

The house was nice. On the listing it showed one bedroom had two king beds which is not the case. The beds were comfy. Overall we had a nice time. The only downfall was the upstairs, kitchen and family room was hot. We couldn’t get the AC unit to cool down the enclosed porch, but we didn’t sit out there anyway so we shut it off.

We loved our stay at the condo. It's good sized, loved the 2 master en suite bedrooms, the great views of the lake from the living area, and the easy access to the lake. One thing I wish had been posted on the property or in the guestbook was that life jackets are mandatory for everyone even on non-motorized watercraft like paddleboards that you are strapped to! We got a hefty ticket from the lake police, and no one had told us this rule, not even when we went down to the resort cabana to purchase permits to use our paddleboards for the week. All in all, a fantastic place with everything we needed, I would love to stay here again in the future.

Excellent location with lots of amenities. We had a slight issue with one of the drains but the owner was on top of it and it was resolved the next morning.

My entire family, which consisted of my husband and myself, two sons, two daughters in law, and grandchildren including an infant totally enjoyed our stay. Anne was very responsive to some minor problems that we had. The proximity to the lake and the resort made everything so accessible.

We had a fabulous family get together. The views are even better than the pictures. Gorgeous fall colors. The entire house was comfortable and everyone, grandparents down to kiddos, had a wonderful time. The only hiccup was we lost power for about 13 hours, which was strange because it was a beautiful day with no weather. This wasn't just our unit - it impacted many units throughout the complex. This could have happened to anyone, however, and doesn't necessarily impact the house. My only feedback for the hosts is that it took a while for us to get a hold of them several times throughout the day to get updates about the outage and to ask about candles, flashlights, etc. We found many flashlights in the house but only a few of them had working batteries and we only found one candle. Overall, we really had a wonderful time and we really can't fault the hosts for losing power as it wasn't specific to this location. It's beautiful and we made many memories there. If there had been more quick communication during the outage, however, we would have felt more comfortable with less uncertainty about what was going on, and it would have been nice to have a stash of candles, flashlights (with working batteries), etc for emergencies.

My only feedback for the hosts is that it took a while for us to get a hold of them several times throughout the day to get updates about the outage and to ask about candles, flashlights, etc. We found many flashlights in the house but only a few of them had working batteries and we only found one candle. Overall, we really had a wonderful time and we really can't fault the hosts for losing power as it wasn't specific to this location. It's beautiful and we made many memories there. If there had been more quick communication during the outage, however, we would have felt more comfortable with less uncertainty about what was going on, and it would have been nice to have a stash of candles, flashlights (with working batteries), etc for emergencies.

Our family of 11 spent one week here. The house was so clean, had plenty of room for everyone ranging from 2.5 - 73. The resort had lots to offer, the lake was beautiful and peaceful. The property manager was responsive, and everything was as described.

This was our first time visiting Lake Lure! Despite the lake having been drained and closed there was plenty to do in the Rumbling Bald Resort! We enjoyed visiting 2 out of the 3 pools during our stay. A round of mini golf, some ice cream, and dining at 3 of the on site & nearby restaurants. Not to mention the fireworks and other activities that were going on for the 4th of July weekend. The accommodation was great. A beautiful large home with everything you could possibly need. Communication was also prompt and super helpful for questions we had. We can’t wait to come back!

I echo other reviews in that the home was beautiful and comfortably accommodated our whole crew of 11. While the lake is drained, we still had a wonderful time and the views are gorgeous. It is not too far from Ingles, to fully stock the fridge and cook at home with all the lovely kitchen amenities available. The resort options were fun (slight note that putt putt is not included) but the pools and fitness centers were great additions. Definitely recommend!

The condo was perfect because of the lake view and closeness to the Rumbling Bald activites. The older kids were able to walk to the beach, pickleball courts, pool, restaurants etc. The drive is quick if you want to avoid walking the big hill. The condo was very clean and all three families were comfortable. We rented a pontoon at the resort and booked two days of tubing and wake boarding for the kids through Lake Lure Adventure Company. We had a great time staying at the condo and will be back.

We love the location of this property. Well maintained and tastefully decorated the house was very enjoyable. The small sandy beach is perfect for infants. The fish are constantly teasing by jumping in the water. But they are rarely caught!

Very well appointed home with rare combination of gathering space and sanctuary spaces in this very large condo. Great views, easy access to resort amenities, and easy drives to hiking and mountain features. Definitely would stay again.

Condo was clean and on the lake with a lot of room for 2 to 3 families with many views of the lake and mountains. There is 4 levels one level is large space where everyone can be together and have their privacy. My grandchildren loved playing in the condo and running up and down the steps. They also enjoyed being away from the adults and playing games in the game room . You can fish and swim right on the property. My grandson caught a bass. The house is 4 levels, so lots of steps. Really enjoyed the Chicken soup for the soul and Uncle John’s books in the bathroom. You can walk to the resort’s beach area with the indoor pool, hot tub , mini golf , basket ball , restaurants , etc… if you wanted to. It rained or was cloudy the whole time we were there. Would have been better if we would have had one sunny day. The views and large condo was even better when you have to stay inside because of the weather. We did see chimney rock, the hickory nut water falls, the flowering bridge and went on a lake boat tour. Really enjoyed all that we saw. Also ate at Victory Kitchen and Hard Rock Cafe. Both were good.

Beautiful condo, great location and layout for big families. We definitely hope to visit again. We love Rumbling Bald and the Quail Cove Condos. This is our 4th visit and we’re so glad to have found one so perfect for us!
