We really enjoyed staying in Serendipity II. It was decorated so cute for the fall and Halloween season. It made it very homey and cozy. Plenty of blankets since it was cool the couple of days we were there. Had everything we needed to make a couple of meals and hot beverages. And we even enjoyed the lower covered area by doing some yoga. Great little place. Thanks again for having us!

Our up coming reunion may have been filled with planning but finding this little gem was a breeze. The ownership communicated well and not a note was missed. The property was amazing, clean, cute and had every little finishing touch to make us feel right at home. The location was perfectly and conveniently placed within a 3 minute stroll for coffee and amazing views. What an exceptional find. Thank you!

Called to ask for bathroom mat so floor wouldn’t get wet, also extra washcloths, got neither. Need somewhere to hang wet towels to dry. No closet to hang clothes. What was with all the blankets on back of bathroom door? Need better ice trays, one very small broken one was available. Lady who helped with urgent care info very nice & helpful.. all & all nice clean little place.

Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We requested a late (11:00pm) check-in and when we arrived the cottage was lit up and easily accessible. The location allowed us to walk to restaurants, a local brewery, and a coffee shop. We will definitely stay here again during our visit to the area.

We absolutely loved this VRBO! It was in an amazing location, close to so many great spots & the water view is beautiful. Communication was awesome with the property manager. When we arrived, check in was super easy and the house was clean & smelled amazing. Definitely recommend!

Nice clean and comfortable. Cute and decorated with care. So many throw pillows and soft blankets. Right downtown, walkable to everywhere. If there’s a live band at the Toucan, you’re going to be hear it. There’s everything you need, more like a hotel than someone sharing a their space with you. Still think a bath mat would be good, towels can be slippery.

I loved the cottage! I will suggest a few things: The front door knob is loose and the doors do not align to use the dead bolt. Having a small table and chairs where the sitting chairs would be a nice option for those that could use more table space to eat as well as use a laptop computer.

Very nicely appointed place. Comfortable bedding, plenty of towels, plates, etc. It is located near The Bean Coffee Shop, near M & M's Cafe, Barcos, and other facilities in the beautiful village of Oriental.

Very happy with overall stay. Biggest thing for us was the way everything was charged. Would have preferred to have the option to pay everything in full instead of a split payment. Also, we had questions about the price breakdown—but Kalie was super responsive and got back to us within a few hours exactly what we needed. 5/5 recommend. Improvement recs: a full size trash can, baking or pizza tray, a place to hang coats. Place was clean, instructions were easy to follow. The place to pick up keys is literally across the street.

The Serenity Cottage was a delightful place to stay. An easy walk to a great coffee shop, right across the street from the Provision Company, and just a block and a half from the M&M Cafe where we had a yummy meal. We could also easily walk to beautiful park with lots of Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy a view of the river. Also a short drive to a ferry ride across the river to Croatan National Forrest for a hike along the river. We were there to see a friend launch her 3rd novel. We would definitely return to check out more of Oriental, NC.

The Serenity Cottage was a delightful place to stay. An easy walk to a great coffee shop, right across the street from the Provision Company, and just a block and a half from the M&M Cafe where we had a yummy meal. We could also easily walk to beautiful park with lots of Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy a view of the river. We would definitely return to check out more of Oriental, NC.

If you need some peace and quiet this is the perfect place! Listen to the birds sing and walk to get coffee and delicious pastries. There are also 2 terrific restaurants within blocks. Our dog also loved the space!
