Evrething was good……………….

This was basically just a place to crash on a long drive…nothing more, so we went “cheap” with almost no expectation. The photos posted on the website make things look pretty good…and it is evident that an attempt to improve this place has been made…however, the attempt is incomplete. The staff was friendly and courteous enough, but it really isn’t much more than a place to crash. Surprisingly, the “breakfast” actually included one of those cutesy waffle batter things for a “make your own” waffle. Other than that, nothing special to write home about. Per some reviews, the exterior doors at multiple entry points do not securely lock. There were some stains on a bedsheet that, even if not possible to clean out, could have been swapped with a clean one. There were some outlets that were loose. Surprisingly, a microwave and fridge were provided. Oddly, the television in the room was left turned on when we entered the room; for what it’s worth, the tv remote was a bit wonky. Again, a significant attempt was made to update the place, but ran out of gas somewhere along the way. This gave off a very “updated Motel 6” vibe…hard flooring to make it easier to clean rather than dingy old carpeting…brand new tile and finishes in the bathroom, but only partially upgraded…the rest was old and worn-looking. Goofiest thing, but clarifies that an upgrade has been attempted…toilet paper “behind” you…awkward to reach. Please check the photos I added and hopefully this will make more sense.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The building is old and worn. The coffee and breakfast were awful.

knobs were broken on the air conditioner, pillows were like large cement blocks, tv remote was not completely functional, and the bathroom sink fixtures were hooked up backwards.
