My sisters and I were looking for a quiet, nicely appointed house with a water view and that's exactly what we got with WaterWinds! We enjoyed our view of the Albemarle Sound from the dock, the deck, and from the family room couch! The water was everything from wavy with white caps to calm and smooth as glass (with a great dolphin show!). Lots of birds to enjoy as well. Would recommend 100%!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The house has everything you could ask for. Fishing off the dock was excellent. Very clean with a great view and a good location. The owner is exceptional and is quick to respond to any questions you may have.

Amazing location. Great place to get away from all the craziness and enjoy some peace and quiet without all the tourist traffic and people. Love the area and the owners are great people. My husband caught a huge catfish off the pier on our last day. Thank you Beth for sharing your amazing home with us

Location was perfect! Home was comfortable and well stocked. My son and I fished everyday and family had a relaxing time! Communication with Beth was excellent with quick responses. She was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend.

Well, thought out property. Amazing views on 3 sides of the building. Great fun watching the wildlife. Home had everything we needed. Kitchen was fabulous. Bedrooms were well appointed.

Our second stay and it was just as great as the first. Tastefully furnished and decorated. Not a cookie cutter rental! Beautiful private waterfront location. The Osprey nest was active with mom and a baby. Five families of geese sailed by almost every day. Kayaking here is superb. The hosts are easy to reach and extremely helpful. I can’t wait to come again next year!
Our second stay and it was just as great as the first. Tastefully furnished and decorated. Not a cookie cutter rental! Beautiful private waterfront location. The Osprey nest was active with mom and a baby. Five families of geese sailed by almost every day. Kayaking here is superb. The hosts are easy to reach and extremely helpful. Back again but for 5 weeks! Waterwinds is even more beautiful than I remember. Brand new deck, beautiful and comfortable furnishings. Fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities. Gorgeous private landscaped waterfront setting. Water on canal side is shallow enough for my 3 and 5 year old great granddaughters to swim. Will be booking next year for sure!

Waterwinds deserves 10 stars. It’s like a hidden jewel. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. We stayed for a month with our little dogs. It’s on the water and felt like we were at a bird sanctuary. A mating pair of Osprey occupied the nest and tree about 20’ offshore. Witnessed the male dive and catch a fish from the deck. The house has everything one could hope for. Gorgeous kitchen and living area. Lots of windows so staying inside during a rainy day was not a hardship. Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back next year, if they’ll have us!

The house was everything we could wish for and more. There was plenty to do when the weather was rainy and more to do when we got some sunshine. The kitchen had everything we needed when we decided to make dinner at home one night or for bringing food in from local diners. The location was perfect for us that were looking for a low-key, relaxing location, but close enough to cities when we wanted to go do some touristy things. We loved the water views. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was perfect, it had everything needed for our family, fishing for the fisherman, wildlife for the nature lover, and quite comfortable place with wonderful view for the reader in the family. Beth thought of everything to make this a easy vacation, even ice packs for the picnic cooler. Will keep this on my list of return properties for relaxing vacation. Enjoyed the home and location. The house was in perfect condition, very clean and made us both happy to be there. Great view of the Sound and stars at night. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. Beth emailed us several times to ensure there were no problems or questions. We had a perfect stay and would recommend Waterwinds to everyone.

Positive: Nice property. Good location on the Albemarle. Really enjoyed the view. Good place to relax. Gouse was comfortable. Negative: (1) Grass was quite high when we checkd in on a Saturday. Didnt cut it until Tuesday night. (2) Unit had a problem with ants. Picked up ant spray and sprayed a couple of times, but didnt seem to help. (3) neighbors (teenagers and dog) in the house next to us were fishing off the sea wall on the property. Asked if they had an agreement with the owner, but got no reply, which seemed to be the norm...not certain. Overall a good stay. Would visit again.

This vacation home was big, clean, and beautifully decorated. The rental process was very easy with Beth. She emailed during our stay checking to make sure everything was going good. The area was so nice. Everyone is friendly. We loved learning the history of Edenton. We did the boat tour, trolley tour, and the lighthouse tour. We loved Hertford and Elizabeth City. The antique shops were very nice. The antique shop (Four Corners) in Tyner, NC is awesome.

Great Water View! It really does feel like you're on top of the water. The house was clean and ready for us. The beds were the most comfortable beds we've had in a vrbo. Well stocked, and the fire pit at the water was a bonus.

Perfect place for just staying in when weather wont allow or you just don't feel like going anywhere. Plenty of things to do right there whether it be watching a movie, riding a bike, or best yet, watching weather, birds, and any other surprises out the windows that span the whole sound side of the living room! Bring a really good pair of binoculars!

This vacation home was big, clean, and beautifully decorated. The rental process was very easy with Beth. She emailed during our stay checking to make sure everything was going good. The area was so nice. Everyone is friendly. We loved learning the history of Edenton. We did the boat tour, trolley tour, and the lighthouse tour. We loved Hertford and Elizabeth City. The antique shops were very nice. The antique shop (Four Corners) in Tyner, NC is awesome.

We enjoyed our stay in this house even during the cold wave. The view is breathtaking. The house is clean. The property manager is very responsive. Plan to come back again when weather is warmer.

This property was perfect, it had everything needed for our family, fishing for the fisherman, wildlife for the nature lover, and quite comfortable place with wonderful view for the reader in the family. Beth thought of everything to make this a easy vacation, even ice packs for the picnic cooler. Will keep this on my list of return properties for relaxing vacation. Enjoyed the home and location. Beth you are a hands on host, with quick response and good communication skills. Thanks for sharing you vacation home. Pam

My sisters and I were looking for a quiet, nicely appointed house with a water view and that's exactly what we got with WaterWinds! We enjoyed our view of the Albemarle Sound from the dock, the deck, and from the family room couch! The water was everything from wavy with white caps to calm and smooth as glass (with a great dolphin show!). Lots of birds to enjoy as well. Would recommend 100%!

This was a wonderful, quiet retreat for us...a comfortable waterfront home in a comfortable neighborhood with an awesome view of the Sound...big skies, nesting birds, and beautiful sunsets.

The house was in perfect condition, very clean and made us both happy to be there. Great view of the Sound and stars at night. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. Beth emailed us several times to ensure there were no problems or questions. We had a perfect stay and would recommend Waterwinds to everyone.

Amazing location. Great place to get away from all the craziness and enjoy some peace and quiet without all the tourist traffic and people. Love the area and the owners are great people. My husband caught a huge catfish off the pier on our last day. Thank you Beth for sharing your amazing home with us

Positive: Nice property. Good location on the Albemarle. Really enjoyed the view. Good place to relax. Gouse was comfortable. Negative: (1) Grass was quite high when we checkd in on a Saturday. Didnt cut it until Tuesday night. (2) Unit had a problem with ants. Picked up ant spray and sprayed a couple of times, but didnt seem to help. (3) neighbors (teenagers and dog) in the house next to us were fishing off the sea wall on the property. Asked if they had an agreement with the owner, but got no reply, which seemed to be the norm...not certain. Overall a good stay. Would visit again.

Our second stay and it was just as great as the first. Tastefully furnished and decorated. Not a cookie cutter rental! Beautiful private waterfront location. The Osprey nest was active with mom and a baby. Five families of geese sailed by almost every day. Kayaking here is superb. The hosts are easy to reach and extremely helpful. I can’t wait to come again next year!

Back again but for 5 weeks! Waterwinds is even more beautiful than I remember. Brand new deck, beautiful and comfortable furnishings. Fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities. Gorgeous private landscaped waterfront setting. Water on canal side is shallow enough for my 3 and 5 year old great granddaughters to swim. Will be booking next year for sure!

The house was everything we could wish for and more. There was plenty to do when the weather was rainy and more to do when we got some sunshine. The kitchen had everything we needed when we decided to make dinner at home one night or for bringing food in from local diners. The location was perfect for us that were looking for a low-key, relaxing location, but close enough to cities when we wanted to go do some touristy things. We loved the water views. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Water View! It really does feel like you're on top of the water. The house was clean and ready for us. The beds were the most comfortable beds we've had in a vrbo. Well stocked, and the fire pit at the water was a bonus.

Location was perfect! Home was comfortable and well stocked. My son and I fished everyday and family had a relaxing time! Communication with Beth was excellent with quick responses. She was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend.
