It's as if the listing was years old and not updated at all. First of all the side by side had basically no brakes and we could have been severely injured when going down a hill and notbeing able to stop. We had to veer off in the trees in order to get it stopped. Thankfully we didnt have small children on it at the time. On top of that the jukebox didnt let you select songs as intended, the spices in the cabinets were old and the dishes were grimy and disgusting. The doorknob kept falling off making the door not usable, the pool table was built for a small child and was broken and unlevel. The main reason we booked the listing was for the ponds and it was nothing like the pictures. The water was very low and there was no paddle boat as shown and no coverings on the deck as shown. The 2 "ponds" were not ponds at all. One was too small to be considered anything other than a puddle and the other was just stagnant muddy water with dead fish floating around. I feel like that is something that should be mentioned in the listing since the pictures were so drastically different of the actual area. Overall it was not at all as described and the amount of inaccurate, outdated information presented in the listing led to an overall crappy weekend of disappointment vs the satisfying weekend getaway we hoped for. Definitely would not recommend this place for anyone unless you just want to suffer and give money away. Our fault for not doing our homework i guess. Lesson learned.

My friends, family, and I stayed a weekend at Angeltom cabin in LaGrange. There were 16 of us in total and we all had a great time and enjoyed the many amenities the cabin had to offer.There were so many activities to enjoy such as fishing, canoeing, off-roading on the UTV, enjoying the hot tub, and getting in touch with nature. I was also pleasantly surprised with the number of beds available to comfortably sleep all 16 of us! I especially enjoyed the communication with the property owners who were always available to answer any inquiries we had. This was an amazing weekend full of several fond memories. Thank you very much to Angeltom cabin, I hope to be back soon.

The lovely house was super clean, well-decorated and fully stocked. The kids loved fishing, skipping stones and the old pac man condole and classic nintendo! The adults enjoyed the pool table, the view, cooking, watching movies on the projector I brought ( their tv is small), and playing games at the picnic-styled dining table. Everyone enjoyed driving the buggy throughout the hilly, winding trails to see all the crazy art and multitude of little buildings. It was about 100 degrees, so the complimentary water and strong air conditioner was much appreciated. Despite the heat we spent a lot of time outside in the many spots where the pine tree shade and the breeze met; we even had a fire in their pit to make smores! The juke box on the porch definitely got used, though the hot tub was out of the question in this heat but it was cleaned well enough for this germaphobe to want to get in if we have the good fortune to rent ANGLETOM's cabin in the fall or winter. Of course the main draw here is the art peppered throughout the 20 acres, a perfect impetus for a family (who has run out of things to talk about) to converse over or ponder. Where did they get all this stuff? How long have they been working on it? Who are these awesome owners? The free hat for the main renter was nice. Note: the last stretch of road to the property is a gravel/ rocky road, if this helps inform your decision about which of your vehicles to take. Also the fishing is catch and release only.

The cabin is spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. We caught many fish at the pond while listening to great tunes on the jukebox. We were thankful for the UTV because this property is quite large. There were many things to see but the alien train was my favorite. It was lovely to sit in the rocker on the porch in the morning with coffee and watch the deer. We will definitely be back.

We truly enjoyed our time at Angeltom! From unlimited jukebox music, UTV rides, tractor rides, canoeing, fishing and looking up at the beautiful sky filled with many stars and planets oh and the hot tub this place is definitely the place to go for adventure and relaxation. A vacation we’re going to remember for a lifetime. We’re looking forward to return to Angeltom. The owners were great with communication.

We had a lovely stay in which my husband lovingly dubbed it a “quirky wonderland spectacular “!!! So much to do on the property! From fishing, to the hot tub, to reading a book in the time-out chair, to walking all of the trails on the property…it was endless!! The owners were over-the-top attentive to every question I had and extremely prompt with answers!! They were wonderful!! It would be a great place for a family gathering!! Our family of 3 loved every bit of it!!

Angeltom cabin has all the activities you can wish for a long weekend. From hiking, fishing, boating, kids playhouse, UTV, hot tub and an awesome jukebox for music. To compliment, the cabin os outfitted with everything that you could possibly need and with every cabinet neetly organized and labeled. Everything was clean on arrival and all instructions provided for check-in and anything else

We did the Wild Hare 10k for the first time and had originally planned on staying at the large cabin at Bastrop State Park, but unfortunately it was booked. Lucky for us, because this place is like having a state park all to yourself. There are numerous trails with lots of hills and gorgeous scenery. In addition, there are delightful statues and scenes all throughout the property. If you like photo opportunities, you will be ecstatic!!! The age range of our group of nine was 22 - 49 and everyone had a great time and found something they enjoyed wether it was the jukebox, fishing, driving the UTV, playing vintage video games, archery, paddling in the boat, napping in the hammock, or sitting on the porch and listening to the birds and the wind. The outdoors here is unique. The hosts were great and the house is fully functioning and has all of the things that you may forget to pack. I loved that the kitchen table in the cabin was big enough for our group of nine to eat together. The hot tub was great for all the sore muscles after the 10k. We enjoyed the Wild Hare and everyone wants to race again next year, and I hope the Angel Tom Cabin is available.

I truly cannot speak highly enough about this place — it was our family’s third time visiting over the past three years and the memories we make each time are absolutely magical. My twins chose a trip to Angeltom for their 8th birthday and we had 15 guests including 8 kids ages 3-10. The cabin: Despite our big group, the cabin never felt crowded. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything, and all supplies and items are well organized and clearly labeled. Everything is always clean and well taken care of. The property: The true magic is outside at Angeltom. Some of our favorite things to do are relax in the hot tub, play at the pond (where the kids could spend the whole day fishing and paddling the boat around), and of course wander the amazing trails that are littered with antiques, statues, and surprises at every turn. The dads in our group love giving the kids “safari rides” around the property on the UTV, and our whole group enjoys picnics down at the second pond before playing the MOST EPIC games of hide and seek you could ever imagine. From early morning walks watching wildlife, to evenings around the campfire with the jukebox playing in the background, every day we are Angeltom is The Best Day Ever. The Hosts: Angelina and Tomas are not only helpful and quick to respond, but they are also exceptionally thoughtful and kind. I am so grateful to them for curating this amazing slice of heaven.

Angeltom was a perfect getaway to end the school year. The cabin fit my husband and I, our two kids (3&5), my mother, niece (14) and nephew (16) perfectly! The cabin was very clean and smelled great. The kids loved exploring, feeding the fish, and roasting hot dogs and smores on the fire. The adults loved relaxing on the porch and listening to music. We had a mishap in our cooler and easily traveled into town to go to the local HEB and restaurants to pick up BBQ and pizza. We highly recommend and would return!
Angeltom was a perfect getaway to end the school year. The cabin fit my husband and I, our two kids (3&5), my mother, niece (14) and nephew (16) perfectly! The cabin was very clean and smelled great. 1st time renting this place. But it certainly won't be the last. Had a little family vacation for the 4th of July and this place was so nice, clean and it literally has EVERYTHING! The kids had so much fun exploring, fishing and just spending time outside. The owners are so nice and sweet. They answered quickly to any questions i had. For sure a place to stay at for families.

The photos don’t do this place justice. While they give you a good idea of what’s on the property, they don’t show how beautiful everything really is. The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and artsy. The decor is unique and there’s everything you need to enjoy your stay in the cabin alone. The outdoor space (hot tub, dock, trails, etc) has all the entertainment you need. We had the best time exploring and didn’t even get a chance to see it all. We’re already planning our next trip back! Thank you for an incredible weekend.

Angeltom cabin has all the activities you can wish for a long weekend. From hiking, fishing, boating, kids playhouse, UTV, hot tub and an awesome jukebox for music. To compliment, the cabin os outfitted with everything that you could possibly need and with every cabinet neetly organized and labeled. Everything was clean on arrival and all instructions provided for check-in and anything else

We had plenty to do and see while we were there. Being able to use the mule and fish and smaller boat was an amazing plus. Jacuzzi was clean too. We hope to come back again.

My friends, family, and I stayed a weekend at Angeltom cabin in LaGrange. There were 16 of us in total and we all had a great time and enjoyed the many amenities the cabin had to offer.There were so many activities to enjoy such as fishing, canoeing, off-roading on the UTV, enjoying the hot tub, and getting in touch with nature. I was also pleasantly surprised with the number of beds available to comfortably sleep all 16 of us! I especially enjoyed the communication with the property owners who were always available to answer any inquiries we had. This was an amazing weekend full of several fond memories. Thank you very much to Angeltom cabin, I hope to be back soon.

The lovely house was super clean, well-decorated and fully stocked. The kids loved fishing, skipping stones and the old pac man condole and classic nintendo! The adults enjoyed the pool table, the view, cooking, watching movies on the projector I brought ( their tv is small), and playing games at the picnic-styled dining table. Everyone enjoyed driving the buggy throughout the hilly, winding trails to see all the crazy art and multitude of little buildings. It was about 100 degrees, so the complimentary water and strong air conditioner was much appreciated. Despite the heat we spent a lot of time outside in the many spots where the pine tree shade and the breeze met; we even had a fire in their pit to make smores! The juke box on the porch definitely got used, though the hot tub was out of the question in this heat but it was cleaned well enough for this germaphobe to want to get in if we have the good fortune to rent ANGLETOM's cabin in the fall or winter. Of course the main draw here is the art peppered throughout the 20 acres, a perfect impetus for a family (who has run out of things to talk about) to converse over or ponder. Where did they get all this stuff? How long have they been working on it? Who are these awesome owners? The free hat for the main renter was nice. Note: the last stretch of road to the property is a gravel/ rocky road, if this helps inform your decision about which of your vehicles to take. Also the fishing is catch and release only.

This place was great, plenty to do! Plenty of fun all around! No problems with ac or anything house wise. The 13 of us stayed comfortably and had lots of fun grilling and catfishing on the dock. Hope to be back!

Angeltom was a perfect getaway to end the school year. The cabin fit my husband and I, our two kids (3&5), my mother, niece (14) and nephew (16) perfectly! The cabin was very clean and smelled great. The kids loved exploring, feeding the fish, and roasting hot dogs and smores on the fire. The adults loved relaxing on the porch and listening to music. We had a mishap in our cooler and easily traveled into town to go to the local HEB and restaurants to pick up BBQ and pizza. We highly recommend and would return!

The cabin is spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. We caught many fish at the pond while listening to great tunes on the jukebox. We were thankful for the UTV because this property is quite large. There were many things to see but the alien train was my favorite. It was lovely to sit in the rocker on the porch in the morning with coffee and watch the deer. We will definitely be back.

The photos don’t do this place justice. While they give you a good idea of what’s on the property, they don’t show how beautiful everything really is. The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and artsy. The decor is unique and there’s everything you need to enjoy your stay in the cabin alone. The outdoor space (hot tub, dock, trails, etc) has all the entertainment you need. We absolutely loved our stay. Soo peaceful and relaxing! My kids loved all the fun statues along the trails. Deer running around at all times of the day and the breeze through the trees… omg yess!! The can and rv were very clean and had so many accommodations. We will definitely be back.

Such a nice place to get away but still have plenty of things to do. So much to find and so many places to explore. The hot tub was much bigger than we thought, and was very clean! Many areas for sleep and most of them are in their own area for comfort. Lovely little cabin, very homey and perfect for a getaway.

I truly cannot speak highly enough about this place — it was our family’s third time visiting over the past three years and the memories we make each time are absolutely magical. My twins chose a trip to Angeltom for their 8th birthday and we had 15 guests including 8 kids ages 3-10. The cabin: Despite our big group, the cabin never felt crowded. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything, and all supplies and items are well organized and clearly labeled. Everything is always clean and well taken care of. The property: The true magic is outside at Angeltom. Some of our favorite things to do are relax in the hot tub, play at the pond (where the kids could spend the whole day fishing and paddling the boat around), and of course wander the amazing trails that are littered with antiques, statues, and surprises at every turn. The dads in our group love giving the kids “safari rides” around the property on the UTV, and our whole group enjoys picnics down at the second pond before playing the MOST EPIC games of hide and seek you could ever imagine. From early morning walks watching wildlife, to evenings around the campfire with the jukebox playing in the background, every day we are Angeltom is The Best Day Ever. The Hosts: Angelina and Tomas are not only helpful and quick to respond, but they are also exceptionally thoughtful and kind. I am so grateful to them for curating this amazing slice of heaven.

1st time renting this place. But it certainly won't be the last. Had a little family vacation for the 4th of July and this place was so nice, clean and it literally has EVERYTHING! The kids had so much fun exploring, fishing and just spending time outside. The owners are so nice and sweet. They answered quickly to any questions i had. For sure a place to stay at for families.

I had an incredible time at Angeltom Cabin! The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking surroundings made it a perfect getaway. Exploring the trails and spending time by the pond was so much fun, and with 20 acres to explore, there was never a dull moment. The host at Angeltom Cabin was absolutely amazing. They were incredibly attentive, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Even when we encountered a mishap on the property, they were understanding and supportive, which really impressed us. Overall, I can't say enough positive things about Angeltom Cabin. Stayed here with family for 3D2N, i must say, staying here feels like home with a touch of nature. My kids loved the the activities especially the fishing part. The host is very responsive to our queeries. Also, their jukebox is so cool!

This was by far our most favorite rental experience ever! The property owners were accommodating and communicative from the start, throughout and beyond. These are the most playful, creative, and ingenious people - the property is filled with entertainment and joy, and the ATV rides were such a fun way to explore it all! The cabin and RV were cozy and had all we needed and more. We truly can not wait to return. Thank you Angelina and Tomas for your generosity and sharing your talent and humor with so many! Memories for a lifetime!!

We did the Wild Hare 10k for the first time and had originally planned on staying at the large cabin at Bastrop State Park, but unfortunately it was booked. Lucky for us, because this place is like having a state park all to yourself. There are numerous trails with lots of hills and gorgeous scenery. In addition, there are delightful statues and scenes all throughout the property. If you like photo opportunities, you will be ecstatic!!! The age range of our group of nine was 22 - 49 and everyone had a great time and found something they enjoyed wether it was the jukebox, fishing, driving the UTV, playing vintage video games, archery, paddling in the boat, napping in the hammock, or sitting on the porch and listening to the birds and the wind. The outdoors here is unique. The hosts were great and the house is fully functioning and has all of the things that you may forget to pack. I loved that the kitchen table in the cabin was big enough for our group of nine to eat together. The hot tub was great for all the sore muscles after the 10k. We enjoyed the Wild Hare and everyone wants to race again next year, and I hope the Angel Tom Cabin is available.

The location is great, secluded in the woods, with plenty to do, house comfortable, great for families, owners always pending of our needs, the two ponds water is murky , did fish a couple of bass. May need additional outside illumination mainly where the grill is. Will surely return, highly recommended

Even when we encountered a mishap on the property, they were understanding and supportive, which really impressed us. Overall, I can't say enough positive things about Angeltom Cabin. It provided a serene and entertaining experience, and the host's exceptional care and understanding made our stay even more memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful and fun-filled retreat.

I found the perfect cabin to share a couple nights with all of our our children, their spouses and all of the grandkids for a most memorable holiday gathering! The cabin itself was comfy and cozy. The view of the pond and deer from the front porch was so relaxing. But the magic was roaming out into the woods to find all of the cool and interesting statues and structures. It was as if we were in our own magic kingdom. Lots of wonderful memories were made and we cant wait to return! The hosts were super responsive and friendly.

Clean, well organized, good communication, friendly, fishing was great, beautiful clear night sky, fun on the Kawasaki Mule, fun trails for hiking or riding, new adventure around every corner, hot tub was clean. Would love to go again and spend more time! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

The photos don’t do this place justice. While they give you a good idea of what’s on the property, they don’t show how beautiful everything really is. The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and artsy. The decor is unique and there’s everything you need to enjoy your stay in the cabin alone. The outdoor space (hot tub, dock, trails, etc) has all the entertainment you need. We had the best time exploring and didn’t even get a chance to see it all. We’re already planning our next trip back! Thank you for an incredible weekend.

If we could rate this 6 stars, we would. Everything was great. Nice peaceful location, the amenities, the hosts. Just wow. We will certainly be back and would recommend this to anyone seeking a great VRBO experience.

We did the Wild Hare 10k for the first time and had originally planned on staying at the large cabin at Bastrop State Park, but unfortunately it was booked. Lucky for us, because this place is like having a state park all to yourself. There are numerous trails with lots of hills and gorgeous scenery. In addition, there are delightful statues and scenes all throughout the property. If you like photo opportunities, you will be ecstatic!!! The age range of our group of nine was 22 - 49 and everyone had a great time and found something they enjoyed wether it was the jukebox, fishing, driving the UTV, playing vintage video games, archery, paddling in the boat, napping in the hammock, or sitting on the porch and listening to the birds and the wind. The outdoors here is unique. The hosts were great and the house is fully functioning and has all of the things that you may forget to pack. I loved that the kitchen table in the cabin was big enough for our group of nine to eat together. The hot tub was great for all the sore muscles after the 10k. We enjoyed the Wild Hare and everyone wants to race again next year, and I hope the Angel Tom Cabin is available.

I celebrated my 40th birthday here with my family and friends, and this place exceeded every expectation I didn't even know I had.The cabin is whimsical and beautifully curated, you can tell the owners put real thought and heart into every detail. It doesn't feel like a rental. It feels like somewhere special. We pulled onto the 20 quiet acres and immediately exhaled. I even cried because I was so excited with every little thing I saw as Icame down the driveway. The amenities are genuinely fun: the UTV, the hot tub, the jukebox, and the owners trust you to enjoy all of it, which says everything about the kind of hosts they are. Communication was prompt and easy from booking through checkout. They clearly care about the experience, not just the transaction.We had an absolute blast. Unforgettable memories made. This is the kind of place you talk about long after you've gone home (and we are) and then you start planning your return trip.10/10. Will be back.

We are always looking for a great place to get away for the weekend with the kids and grandkids. While getting to the coast for swimming and fishing is our go to, we needed someplace closer to home and after searching for a family friendly spot settled on Angeltom Cabin & RV. It did not disappoint and we will definitely be back when we need a quick getaway.It would be hard to do justice to all the activities for the kids but it kept them entertained all weekend and off the electronics. We spent 90% of the time outdoors, hiking, fishing, exploring and four wheeling – incredibly relaxing and peacefule. We were a little worried about the weather holding up, since it called for storms all weekend, but it ended up perfect with the occasional sprinkle and nice breeze that kept the mosquitoes away.The host’s are incredibly helpful, provided great information on the site and surrounding area and want to make sure the visit goes well. We made memories of a lifetime this past weekend and will be making this one of our preferred vacation spots. We did a lot but I know we did not get to enjoy everything the location has to offer so maybe more exploring and less fishing for me next time.

The place is wonderful, especially if you have young kids. Also, they're the such great hosts -they always responded within minutes of us emailing with a question! They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. I highly recommend this place!
