My husband and father-in-law stayed here and it was very nice. We enjoyed kayaking on the river in the morning, and having nice fires at night. There was plenty of wood, and amenities in the home.

Such a great mental health break. This space was a great way to recharge the soul. From being able to enjoy a hot cup of tea on the patio with a good book in the evenings, to waking up and having a cup of coffee on the deck with the view and sound of the river. Exceptionally clean and very private. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Only wish the weather was warmer to enjoy the river. I can’t wait to plan a summer weekend here. Thank you.

If you love the pictures just know seeing it and staying here completely exceed expectations. The 2 buildings use every square inch of space comfortably and usefully. Comfortable beds, kitchen has everything needed to make meals, bathroom and laundry equipped with all comforts of home. Setting with all the outdoor areas to admire the trees and river were relaxing. My daughter and I used this as our home base to explore the coast and hiking trails/parks and this location is ideal. Already mentally planning another trip back.

Loved the two houses! Totally updated and very comfortable with everything we needed. Doors and windows were screened to enjoy the outdoors while inside and lots of places outside to relax. Very quiet and in a great location. Great place to relax! Highly recommend!

The Goat Shed is a lovely tiny house next to the Tualatin River just outside West Lynn. It sits next to another property with a shared fire pit, though we didn't see the other guests much. It really feels like you are out in the woods otherwise and the view down the hill to the river and the babbling little waterfall are very lovely. My wife and The tiny house was well appointed, with a full kitchen and bath. Parking was back near the road, so a bit hard to drag out luggage across the mulch, but not bad. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

Was a great getaway without having a 2 hour drive to the coast or mountain. Even though you are conveniently located to 205 you would never know it. It is set back from the road and right down near the river. My son went down to the dock and fished and was successful. Owners of the property happened to be on-site and dropped off some fishing bait and gave some recommendations. Great family. We will book again.

Wow, that sums up the entire property. Stunning new small home plus separate bedroom on the river. Clean, modern and relaxing. No details overlooked. Owner is beyond friendly and even lit the firepit for us. Will stay there again!

We had an absolute wonderful time in Oregon, the views, scenery and quiet calm from the Goat Shed were amazing. We enjoyed our time on the decks. During our stay, there was a heat advisory, which seemed a little out of the ordinary, which meant both spaces got warm and didn't cool off too fast, we didn't realize there was no A/C, that was our oops. Both spaces were well appointed, and had everything you would need. We enjoyed the books, and information provided. The check-in and check-out process was simple, and they were able to accommodate our request for early check-in and later check-out. Their very cool map gave great suggestions for dining and wine tasting. The town of West Linn was cute and had everything within a short distance. The beds are tempurapedic, so they are firm, extra firm, the pillows were nice, and everything was clean. The location of the Goat Shed and Zen Den are behind the office/Marv's Place and to the the side of the main residence, so getting back there felt like we were walking through others space. It didn't seem to bother anyone, just felt out of place because each residence has beautiful windows to enjoy the picturesque views. we very much enjoyed our stay, and likely would stay there again if we ever go back to Portland.

I really enjoyed my stay. The calm place on the river bank. It is clean, light and shadows, panoramic windows. All looks as expected. There was bad smell from bathroom and I can’t find the cause, but we closed the door and problem was almost solved. The location is good. You can visit Portland (0,5 hour) or city environs without traffic. Good restaurants and large grocery’s in 10 minutes drive.

This rental surpassed all our expectations in every way! I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years, and this one was by far the best. The setting in the forest and on the Tualatin River was surreal. The attention to detail amazing. The Goat Shed & Zen dens were quite clean & cozy. As 2 older women, we felt very safe staying here. Overall centrally located and a quick drive down the road into West Linn offered several wonderful dining options. Definitely plan on staying here again. Highly recommended.

The Goat shed is amazing and a perfect retreat that gives you the feeling of being in the woods with the river view right out your windows. Great location close enough to everything yet far enough not to be in the chaos. Super close to Field park which has amazing walking trails right by the river. This home has a great pet set up. We were there for 12 days with our black lab who loved the woods. Home is outfitted well and we had no need for anything that wasn't provided. Owners (Tim and Jennifer) are next door and make you feel so incredibly welcome. Could not find a more meticulously maintained property. I honestly don't know how you keep these homes in the woods outside areas so pristine. Tim has a leaf blower attached to his hip. It is a property that they love and are proud of and it shows.

The pictures are gorgeous & the property is even better in person! Very clean, great location, & very nice family who owns the property! They even welcomed us around the fire on night one :o) Right down the road is Historic Willamette which is a shopping/restaurant area full of cute stores. Great to have just 5 minutes down the road! We only had two issues while staying on the property: a ceiling fan wasn’t working, but Tim, the owner, quickly addressed & fixed it & the other issue was a toilet that wouldn’t flush properly, so my friend had to use the one in our unit. We notified management, & they responded, but it was never fixed. While inconvenient, it worked out fine & didn’t ruin our trip. Still a GREAT location I would return to in a heartbeat!

Beautiful setting surrounded by views of cedar trees and the river. Both the Goat House and the Zen Den were pleasing to the eye. Could have done without the construction and leaf blowers on the Monday morning of our stay. They were literally right in front of our windows for quite some time -- took away from the relaxation. Also, our bed sheets had stains on them, so that's icky, and there were somebody else's dirty socks under the bed.

We went in October and stayed with another couple friend of ours. The place was beautiful. It was clean, nicely decorated and the scenery outside was just gorgeous. We went hiking, did wine tastings, and had a fabulous time.

Both "the Goat Shed" and the "Zen Den" are beautiful. The setting is lovely. The Goat Shed is one of the best equipped kitchen I have had in at VRBO. Beautiful and comfortable. It was a wonderful stay.

We stayed at The Cedars at Rivers Edge for a week in mid June. We had 4 people with 2 in the Goat Shed and 2 in the Zen Den. We had a great time and the location and the accommodations were excellent. First of all the views are amazing perched above the river. This location feel is a combination of high end custom home blended with glamping. The buildings seem to be very new, are well designed, and are outfitted with very nice furniture and kitchen appliances. The kitchen dishes, utensils and bathroom towels are all high end, seemingly new and very nice. The beds were very comfortable. The wine glasses are excellent Riedel glasses and were perfect to drink the Pinots we we got wine tasting as we sat around the roaring fire. We had an opportunity to meet the owners who were very nice and clearly wanted us to have a good time. I highly recommend it and would rate it more than 5 stars if I was able to.

We loved this property, the owners have made it a beautiful spot. However, the windows look out towards the owners home & business. We felt like we were in a fish bowl and kept the blinds down which took away from the beautiful location. They should put up a privacy fence or a line of tall shrubs. The inside was lovely and very clean. The Zen Den was awesome, those windows faced the river.

This property exceeded my expectations, even with all the photos! You just can’t grasp how gorgeous and peaceful the surroundings are. It was luxurious inside and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Wow, that sums up the entire property. Stunning new small home plus separate bedroom on the river. Clean, modern and relaxing. No details overlooked. Owner is beyond friendly and even lit the firepit for us. Will stay there again!

The space itself was beautiful and thoughtfully laid out, making it feel like a home away from home. We appreciated the owner's patience of listening to our ongoing hopes and dreams about putting their beautiful house on the market because it’s truly a gem and it only added to our enjoyment of the space. The backyard was a highlight, with beautiful scenery and the soothing sound of the water in the creek. We'll definitely be back for more sun and s'mores! Plus, having access to the nearby park was a great bonus. Highly recommend!’

This is wonderful place to stay! The host/family that owns the property is really good at communicating and genuinely wants you to have a great stay. They are always asking to make sure you are enjoying your stay and if there is anything you need. Wonderful service!

I recently stayed at this beautiful VRBO with my girlfriend and it was an experience we will never forget. The hosts were incredible people who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and unforgettable. The views from the property were breathtaking and the amenities provided were top-notch. I cannot thank the hosts enough for their help in planning my proposal - they were more than happy to help and certainly went above and beyond. It turned my proposal from “decent” to EXTRAORDINARY! The location is perfect and we will definitely be returning in the summer to enjoy all the outdoor activities the area has to offer. Overall, I highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a memorable vacation. Thank you again to the hosts for making our stay so wonderful!

Was a great getaway without having a 2 hour drive to the coast or mountain. Even though you are conveniently located to 205 you would never know it. It is set back from the road and right down near the river. My son went down to the dock and fished and was successful. Owners of the property happened to be on-site and dropped off some fishing bait and gave some recommendations. Great family. We will book again.

The Goat shed is amazing and a perfect retreat that gives you the feeling of being in the woods with the river view right out your windows. Great location close enough to everything yet far enough not to be in the chaos. Super close to Field park which has amazing walking trails right by the river. This home has a great pet set up. We were there for 12 days with our black lab who loved the woods. Home is outfitted well and we had no need for anything that wasn't provided. Owners (Tim and Jennifer) are next door and make you feel so incredibly welcome. Could not find a more meticulously maintained property. I honestly don't know how you keep these homes in the woods outside areas so pristine. Tim has a leaf blower attached to his hip. It is a property that they love and are proud of and it shows.

The pictures are gorgeous & the property is even better in person! Very clean, great location, & very nice family who owns the property! They even welcomed us around the fire on night one :o) Right down the road is Historic Willamette which is a shopping/restaurant area full of cute stores. Great to have just 5 minutes down the road! We only had two issues while staying on the property: a ceiling fan wasn’t working, but Tim, the owner, quickly addressed & fixed it & the other issue was a toilet that wouldn’t flush properly, so my friend had to use the one in our unit. We notified management, & they responded, but it was never fixed. While inconvenient, it worked out fine & didn’t ruin our trip. Still a GREAT location I would return to in a heartbeat!

We stayed at The Cedars at Rivers Edge for a week in mid June. We had 4 people with 2 in the Goat Shed and 2 in the Zen Den. We had a great time and the location and the accommodations were excellent. First of all the views are amazing perched above the river. This location feel is a combination of high end custom home blended with glamping. The buildings seem to be very new, are well designed, and are outfitted with very nice furniture and kitchen appliances. The kitchen dishes, utensils and bathroom towels are all high end, seemingly new and very nice. The beds were very comfortable. The wine glasses are excellent Riedel glasses and were perfect to drink the Pinots we we got wine tasting as we sat around the roaring fire. We had an opportunity to meet the owners who were very nice and clearly wanted us to have a good time. I highly recommend it and would rate it more than 5 stars if I was able to.

I really enjoyed my stay. The calm place on the river bank. It is clean, light and shadows, panoramic windows. All looks as expected. There was bad smell from bathroom and I can’t find the cause, but we closed the door and problem was almost solved. The location is good. You can visit Portland (0,5 hour) or city environs without traffic. Good restaurants and large grocery’s in 10 minutes drive.

This was our first visit to the Portland area and we could not have picked a better lodging choice. Hosts were welcoming. The spaces were well made and equipped. We had everything we needed, it was very scenic, and very easy to get to local destinations.

We loved staying at The Cedars at Rivers Edge. So quiet, amazing view. I went with a friend so it was perfect, we each had our own place. It was centrally located to places we wanted to visit, as well as close to family.

As a family of three, the Goat Shed and Zen Den setup was perfect for us. Our teenage son could enjoy the Tualatin River views from the deck of his Zen Den while my wife and I had our own comfortable space to retreat to. The location was convenient and easily accessible which made it the perfect place to explore the Portland area from.

The place was beautiful, the hosts were gracious and the setting was magical. This was a last minute booking for us as we needed a retreat from the city for a few days and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Our dog ( a Great Pyrenees ) loved it too!

My small family enjoyed the peaceful environment, only a short drive from downtown West Linn. The patios overlooking the river were perfect for lounging, and outdoor blankets are provided to ensure cooler evenings are cozy. Our goodest doggo found plenty to sniff while walking the short loop around the property. Be aware there are unpaved sections between the parking area and both ADUs where luggage needs to be hand carried (not rolled). Next time I'll bring my camping wagon!

My husband and father-in-law stayed here and it was very nice. We enjoyed kayaking on the river in the morning, and having nice fires at night. There was plenty of wood, and amenities in the home.
