Not the normal detached, remote rural property I usually opt for, but I'm glad that I chose this one. The booking process was easy, however on the final confirmation It would be good to have the key box code so you only have to find the last Bloom email. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised, the cottage was really lovely, plenty of comfort, excellent kitchen equipment and really, really comfy beds. Quality linen, towels and a heated bathroom floor, what more could you ask for! We really enjoyed our three days, the owner was really helpful and even delivered top up coffee pods to keep the supply going for a real coffee drinker like me. Plenty of positives, negatives were minimal and out of owners control, like noise and neighbours, but to be expected in location, everything else was tip top.

We loved our stay at Wheelwrights. The home is beautifully decorated and the generous owners have gone the extra mile - from the furnishings, crockery, cosy underfloor heating in the lounge and bathroom to even the plentiful plants, blinds and kitchen white goods, I appreciated the owners have opted to spoil guests and provide premium items. The property seemed new throughout. A standout feature for me was the characterful use of colour. We had fun playing the family boardgames the owners have thoughtfully provided, many of which were brand new. It was a treat to enjoy the coffee machine and milk frother that's fit for George Clooney ;-). The property is decently located for local attractions - we went to the seaside, Battle Abbey, Bedgebury Forest and Hastings Aquarium. While located on the main road and adjacent to other homes, the road isn't particularly busy, and we could hear the birds in the morning. Nicki gave some very helpful tips ahead of our stay, was warm and very responsive to messages and questions.
