This is a beautiful home right on the river. Watching the freighters and cruise ships was the best! The home was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. The hospitality of the owner was outstanding! We had a very comfortable and amazing stay.

This home is a perfect rental. This was our second time staying. They have everything you need. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked and the view is the cherry on top. Beautiful in the winter. Really responsive and attentive hosts.

Had a wonderful stay here. The house was very nice and clean. I was able to get my boat in the driveway and went fishing a few times. Mom loved the front windows of the house and the tremendous view of the river - and she loves watching the freighters.Will consider booking a longer stay next year!

Great opportunity to view the passing Great Lakes freighters, as well as watch the birds gather on the river. This house is well set up, and has all those little extras that makes a stay easier. We cooked a lot and had everything we needed. Lots of towels, comfy afghans in the living room, ziplock bags in case you need those… just very thoughtfully outfitted. We enjoyed the local area too - Marine City is fun to poke around in.

We booked a last minute vacation, to celebrate Easter as a Family. Tammi was very accommodating, and very quick to respond to my questions. The house was equally as beautiful as the photos. Everything we needed could be found, and we enjoyed the days watching the freighters and boats go buy, as well as the fishing from the dock. There were 3 couples and the house didn't feel crowded at all. Lots of room for us all, and the 1/2 bath on lower level was very convenient. We hope to be back soon, to enjoy another great stay at Graber's Getaway!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property. The view of the river and watching the freighters go by was spectacular. The house was very clean, well stocked and Tammi was very responsive on my questions before we booked. My only comment for those towing a boat, backing in the driveway was doable but tight. You might check that out if you are bringing a boat. Having said that we would stay here again.

Graber\'s Getaway was everything it promised to be! A splendid, exceptionally clean property with comfortable beds and all the amenities of home. The snacks, coffee and can "koozies" were a delightful and thoughtful touch. The view of the river (catch the sun rise!) and neighboring Canada from the comfort of a plush chair, while having morning coffee, was the epitome of relaxation. And the freighter traffic was an experience not to be missed: totally amazing! Thank you Tammi for sharing your wonderful home: wish we could have stayed longer!

The host of this property provided everything we needed, even thoughtful details like binoculars to watch the water traffic and flashlights in each nightstand. We enjoyed playing the board games which were provided, watching freighters, strolling on the neighborhood walking/biking path, and going to the nearby beach. I had some trouble with VRBO; this trip never showed up in my account, but the host made everything work seamlessly.

This lovely property was perfect for our group of five adults. It is located on the St. Clair River and the lake freighters frequently pas s by as they make their way way between Lakes Erie and Huron. The large, airy home is beautifully furnished with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and immaculate bathrooms (and filled with a thoughtful array of toiletries. The large living room has windows looking directly over the River, a fireplace, and plenty of room to read and chat. The home also has a glass grill on the back porch and a very modern washer and dryer in the basement. Tammi, our host, was a delight. She could not have been more welcoming and helpful. If you choose to stay at this property do not pass up the opportunity to shop at Azar’s Market less than a mile away. The hand cut and personally seasoned steaks are spectacular. Needless to say, we cannot wait to return for another stay.

My family and I rented Graber’s Getaway on Lake Saint Clair. This was our first time staying and boating on the river and it did NOT disappoint. The house was exactly as pictured online….meticulously maintained. To say I am a clean freak is an understatement and this house was SPOTLESS. Everything you would need was there. Beds, showers, kitchen, floors….every inch of the house was glistening clean. Communication with Tammi was seamless and her response times are so quick! We will 100% be staying again and will most definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a place in the area! Thank you so much Tammi for everything!!

We had such a nice weekend. The home is beautiful and spotless, and everything is there that you could possibly need. The best part was seeing the ships go by - even in the winter. We will definitely stay here again, but next time we’ll stay longer!

This property was a 10 out of 10. If you want to relax and regroup this home is perfect. My husband and I enjoyed the modern beautifully decorated home. The view. The view. I had to say it twice it was everything. The rain clouds dispersed and we had a starry night wirh a water view. Magnificent. This location will be on repeat.

Our stay was fantastic! The view of the river and watching the freighters go by was amazing. We had a group of 3 couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked and the welcome gift was a really nice touch. The home is nicely updated and very clean. Will definitely be back. Thanks for everything!

We were in town for a dance competition. Had 3 mom and 3 daughters. Plenty of room in the house for everyone. Enjoyed watching the fisherman and boats cruise by. Tammi was so helpful from the time we made the reservation til check in.

We stayed here for a week and the listing was everything advertised. Clean, well maintained home with all the basics supplied to make it feel like you never left your own home. Owner was very professional and not over-communicative. If you're looking for a vacation rental you won't be disappointed.

This home is a perfect rental. This was our second time staying. They have everything you need. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked and the view is the cherry on top. Beautiful in the winter. Really responsive and attentive hosts.

We stayed here for my best friends bachelorette weekend getaway. I was skeptical that we were gonna get the view that’s in the pictures of the listing, but it was exactly as pictured. Tammi answered any questions prior to booking. The house was the perfect size for us 5 women and very clean.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property. The view of the river and watching the freighters go by was spectacular. The house was very clean, well stocked and Tammi was very responsive on my questions before we booked. My only comment for those towing a boat, backing in the driveway was doable but tight. You might check that out if you are bringing a boat. Having said that we would stay here again.

The host of this property provided everything we needed, even thoughtful details like binoculars to watch the water traffic and flashlights in each nightstand. We enjoyed playing the board games which were provided, watching freighters, strolling on the neighborhood walking/biking path, and going to the nearby beach. I had some trouble with VRBO; this trip never showed up in my account, but the host made everything work seamlessly.

We enjoyed our stay at Graber's Getaway tremendously. The views of the freighters on the Sr. Claire River were amazing.The house was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. If you’re going to Algonac and are trying to find the “right” place, stop looking and book Graber’s Getaway. The house is spotless, it has everything you need for a short or long stay (well beyond the basics), and is ideally located on the St. Clair River. We stayed between Christmas and New Year and even in Algonac’s “off season” we had a great time.

Had a wonderful stay here. The house was very nice and clean. I was able to get my boat in the driveway and went fishing a few times. Mom loved the front windows of the house and the tremendous view of the river - and she loves watching the freighters.Will consider booking a longer stay next year!

Great opportunity to view the passing Great Lakes freighters, as well as watch the birds gather on the river. This house is well set up, and has all those little extras that makes a stay easier. We cooked a lot and had everything we needed. Lots of towels, comfy afghans in the living room, ziplock bags in case you need those… just very thoughtfully outfitted. We enjoyed the local area too - Marine City is fun to poke around in.

We booked a last minute vacation, to celebrate Easter as a Family. Tammi was very accommodating, and very quick to respond to my questions. The house was equally as beautiful as the photos. Everything we needed could be found, and we enjoyed the days watching the freighters and boats go buy, as well as the fishing from the dock. There were 3 couples and the house didn't feel crowded at all. Lots of room for us all, and the 1/2 bath on lower level was very convenient. We hope to be back soon, to enjoy another great stay at Graber's Getaway!

This lovely property was perfect for our group of five adults. It is located on the St. Clair River and the lake freighters frequently pas s by as they make their way way between Lakes Erie and Huron. The large, airy home is beautifully furnished with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and immaculate bathrooms (and filled with a thoughtful array of toiletries. The large living room has windows looking directly over the River, a fireplace, and plenty of room to read and chat. The home also has a glass grill on the back porch and a very modern washer and dryer in the basement. Tammi, our host, was a delight. She could not have been more welcoming and helpful. If you choose to stay at this property do not pass up the opportunity to shop at Azar’s Market less than a mile away. The hand cut and personally seasoned steaks are spectacular. Needless to say, we cannot wait to return for another stay.

This is a beautiful home right on the river. Watching the freighters and cruise ships was the best! The home was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. The hospitality of the owner was outstanding! We had a very comfortable and amazing stay.

Our stay was fantastic! The view of the river and watching the freighters go by was amazing. We had a group of 3 couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked and the welcome gift was a really nice touch. The home is nicely updated and very clean. Will definitely be back. Thanks for everything!

Very nice property and location. The street was a little more busy than I thought it would be but I believe that was due to the holiday weekend. But I enjoyed the lakeview and watching the freighters! The kitchen had everything we needed and the property was very clean and nicely decorated. Communication with owner was excellent! Would definitely recommend 😊

Graber\'s Getaway was everything it promised to be! A splendid, exceptionally clean property with comfortable beds and all the amenities of home. The snacks, coffee and can "koozies" were a delightful and thoughtful touch. The view of the river (catch the sun rise!) and neighboring Canada from the comfort of a plush chair, while having morning coffee, was the epitome of relaxation. And the freighter traffic was an experience not to be missed: totally amazing! Thank you Tammi for sharing your wonderful home: wish we could have stayed longer!

Had a three day stay and had a wonderful time. I work remote and was able to work while watching freighters pass by on the river. Also got out fishing and had a great time on the water. The house was clean. Tammi was easy to communicate with and very responsive.Thanks again!

Best vacation I could have ever planned. The house was immaculate and super clean. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Parking was very sufficient with room to back out and turn to leave out of the driveway from the back. And the view, was a million dollar view. So awesome . Highly recommend so you do not miss your boat. Love it, Love it, Love it.
