My daughter and I spent Mother's Day weekend plus a couple more days at this cottage, both last year and this year. It's clean, bright and cheery with a great view of the lake. My daughter went kayaking while I watched from the deck. We went into town on the Saturday night for a nice dinner, but other than that, we spent most of the time in the cottage. Oh, we got tattoos!! That was fun!

The owners think about details. The unit was nicely furnished, the kitchen was well-equipped for prep and cooking, and the whole interior was spacious and well lit. Outside, there was actually kindling on the wood pile, and multiple kinds of watercraft - plenty of kayaks, a 4-seater paddle boat, and some paddle boards, too. Kayaking the lake was a real joy. Towels and sheets are included as you’d think for a nice place. The only mild worry was a very soft mattress topper in the downstairs bedroom. The response time to an email question was quick-less than 10 minutes, and the owner(s) are nearby but non-intrusive. I’d rent again in a heartbeat. It’s a great place for 4-5 people, well equipped and well done.

My husband and I were looking for a quiet lakefront property to refresh and relax. This wonderful property fit the bill perfectly! The view from the house and the expansive deck was lovely. Being able to kayak, sit by the water, and take walks added to our stay. The home itself was very clean and all around perfect for us!

As other reviewers stated, pics do not do it justice, and it was super clean. Owners responded quickly to the few questions i had. The lake view is just what you want. I tooled around the lake for several hours on a kayak, and had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

Cozy little place with/ one bedroom and a loft that sleeps 3. Very clean. owners always close by and very responsive. Many free kayaks to use, a paddle boat, and the option of pontoon boat rental (excellent price). The yard had deer, cranes, swans, and rabbits visiting. Super quiet and peaceful. Planning to come back.

I saw all the five star reviews for this property, and figured they were probably a bit exaggerated. They weren't. The house is basically new construction. The inside is immaculate. A father and son (son owns the property) are contractors and they rebuilt the property. You can see the attention to detail inside and out. They allow you use of all their equipment; kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, disc golf etc. The house is lakefront on a beautiful chain of lakes. If you are a picky renter, this place is for you.

Check in was easy. You just show up at your scheduled time. There is a code to get in the property. The house was clean and beautifully modeled. The 2 sets of sliding glass doors off the living/dining area open up to a large deck that oversees the lake. We used the kayaks and paddle boards. Theres plenty to do and several yard games to choose from. Very beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay.

My daughter and I stayed at the cottage for a few nights over Mother's Day weekend. This is our third time here, and it never disappoints. The weather was beautiful, the view is spectacular and the house is always clean.

Very clean. Nice space. Beautiful view of the lake. Quite private, but we didnt have to share the house with guests in the other apartments. We were the only guests. We were there over Christmas time, so we were not able to enjoy the lake activities. But we hope to be back next summer or fall. Would highly recommend.

Wow! This place was one of my favorite VRBO stays! The place was super clean and smelled fresh and clean upon arrival. The views are amazing! The property lot is very generous, and on a nice private corner. If you're considering this rental you cannot go wrong!

Nice, comfy place. Clean and quiet. The only negative was I couldn't locate the wifi router as explained in the check-in instructions email. No biggie, just couldn't find it.

What a great property! What a view to wake up to in the morning. Brand new inside super clean and everything was perfectly appointed! It’s a 1 bedroom (1 queen bed) with a loft which has a twin over full bunk. Bathroom is beautiful, a nice sized spa shower. The kitchen has all new everything and a lovely coffee station. Communication with the owners was easy and they were incredibly helpful. We had snow while in town which made for some great pics!! Our son loved walking up to the lakes edge and exploring the yard. He even made a snowman. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful home.

Great open floorplan with gorgeous lake view. I stayed 5 nights and my daughter joined me for two of them. I live in Columbus and my daughter lives in Chicago, so it was an easy ride for both of us. The photos don't do it justice. I would definitely come back. Owner was very nice and accomodating.

Our family had a fantastic time staying at this property. Plenty of room and amenities to go with a scenic view and lots of wildlife. The host made himself available to provide assistance when needed. We will definitely consider staying here again.

My family and I came here for Labor Day weekend and had a blast. Tim is a really nice guy and was extremely helpful with any questions that we had. The property was immaculate and peaceful. My family loved it. Perfect getaway to round off the summer. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful night away! It was colder than we anticipated, but the cottage was cozy and clean, and we saw a vast array of wildlife. This was our first VRBO stay, and it couldn’t have been better.
We had a wonderful night away! It was colder than we anticipated, but the cottage was cozy and clean, and we saw a vast array of wildlife. This was our first VRBO stay, and it couldn’t have been better.

My husband and I were looking for a quiet lakefront property to refresh and relax. This wonderful property fit the bill perfectly! The view from the house and the expansive deck was lovely. Being able to kayak, sit by the water, and take walks added to our stay. The home itself was very clean and all around perfect for us!

We rented this place for our family of 4 over Thanksgiving so we could stay closer to extended family living in Jackson. It worked great for us. Much better than getting a hotel room.

In addition to what the other reviews say (very clean, great hosts, great views, peaceful) the lake house is a nice distance from the neighboring properties. The east side is bordered by a small marsh, which was lovely in itself. We plan to stay there again and bring binoculars for bird watching.

Wow! This place was one of my favorite VRBO stays! The place was super clean and smelled fresh and clean upon arrival. The views are amazing! The property lot is very generous, and on a nice private corner. If you're considering this rental you cannot go wrong!

My daughter and I stayed at the cottage for a few nights over Mother's Day weekend. This is our third time here, and it never disappoints. The weather was beautiful, the view is spectacular and the house is always clean.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was absolutely beautiful with the lake views. My only downfall, was that there are no window coverings except in the one bedroom. I am not a fan of the open concept to outside world at night. If that does not bother you then this is the place to stay.
