This is a beautiful clean home. The backyard is peaceful and has lots of seating. The kitchen has all you would need to cook your own meals. Comfortable furniture in all rooms. Hosts are friendly and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely and comfortable home. It was extremely clean and had a well stocked kitchen with all of the appliances, gadgets, and spices anyone could hope for. We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this was among the best. The layout of the home was great with plenty of room for all. The dining table seated 8 and there was a kitchen counter for seating as well. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were two bathrooms and a washer/dryer. We had great outdoor space which was quiet with a nice yard for the children to play and watch the deer passing by. They had a pack and play and high chair for young children. The location was wonderful and we enjoyed time at Double Bluff Beach, Useless Bay Beach, Castle Park play/picnic area, shopping and eating ice-cream in Langley, hiking at South Whidbey State Park, lunch at Greenbank Farm, the Saturday Farmers Market, and wandering through the magnificent Meerkerk Gardens. We had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful and so clean! Check in was very smooth and easy. We loved the outdoor area and the firepit. We also loved the toys and things that our 2 year old enjoyed playing with. We only stayed 1 night and I wish it had been longer. The next trip we take to Whidbey, I am going to check this listing first. I highly recommend.

The house was in pristine condition, beds were really comfortable. The heater options around the house were great. Each room has its own control. Kitchen has all the spices needed for cooking. Theres games, puzzles as well as an stocked laundry room with everything you need for laundry. Having a garage was a plus to get in and out . Loved the no shoes policy to keep the place clean! Really felt like home, Thanks 😊

My family stayed in this beautiful home for four nights. We cooked every morning and evening. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can imagine! Everything was very clean and super comfortable. We enjoyed coffee on the patio, a nice walk through the neighborhood. My husband and son took the canoe to Langley and crabbed. We took the kayak to a beach and paddled around. The owners communication was excellent. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat! It was the perfect home for our stay.

The Whidbey House was hands down the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. So much space, so clean & so homey. We traveled with small children and the amenities (pack n play, high chair, etc) at the house made traveling with less a breeze! We will definitely be booking again for future travel to Whidbey Island.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. House was very clean and immediately felt like home. The location was beautiful and quiet. My two year old loved seeing the deer and rabbits that cruised by as well. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home.

This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed at with VRBO. The home was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The layout of the home was very comfortable, and we felt right at home. Great instructions and awesome communication with the host. We needed to extend our stay one day and Richard and Anne were so accommodating. Will definitely stay again and would recommend 100%.

Very clean and very well appointed. We had a group of 7, the maximum considering beds. One evening our local family visited for diner which grew the group to 12, it worked out great. The owners communicated extremely well before our arrival so there were no surprises or issues of any kind.

The house was on a quiet street within easy access of local beaches and towns. The kitchen was fully stocked as promise, the rooms well laid out, and the check-in smooth. More importantly, the owner was very gracious when he realized, and gently let me know that I had only reserved one night when I thought that I had reserved two nights. We scrambled back to the house and were very relieved to see that the owner and the cleaning staff had things well under control and couldn’t have been more considerate and concerned for our predicament.

The house was spacious, clean and well equipped and decorated place for gathering. The owner was super easy to communicate and everything was so perfectly set up for our group. We enjoyed a 4-min drive to Holmes Harbor Cellar with a beautiful view of the water.

Our group of friends came over from Seattle to shop and meet up with a friend who lives on the island. The house was great; all the beds are comfortable, the house is immaculate, easy/ample parking, and the neighborhood is quiet and nice. We loved the little extras like extra blankets & towels, a fully stocked spice collection, and all the canoeing & kayaking decorations. The only thing that wasn\'t perfect was the instructions to take out the trash. The first "welcome" email included instructions to bring the trash to the curb upon checking in, which was off-putting since it was someone else\'s trash and who wants to take out the trash on your vacation? There were so many messages about taking the can to the curb and returning it. I get it but what would happen if we weren\'t there? Maybe just pay someone $30 to do this for you so you don\'t have to ask guests. Other than that, the house is perfect and it was a really nice stay.

The next trip we take to Whidbey, I am going to check this listing first. I highly recommend.
We had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful and so clean! Check in was very smooth and easy. We loved the outdoor area and the firepit. We also loved the toys and things that our 2 year old enjoyed playing with. We only stayed 1 night and I wish it had been longer. The next trip we take to Whidbey, I am going to check this listing first. I highly recommend.

This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed at with VRBO. The home was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The layout of the home was very comfortable, and we felt right at home. Great instructions and awesome communication with the host. We needed to extend our stay one day and Richard and Anne were so accommodating. Will definitely stay again and would recommend 100%.

This was our second stay at the Whidbey House. This is a great property. It is well equipped with everything you would need and is very comfortable. Will definitely be staying at this property again. The host communication is excellent.

Whidbey House was a lovely property. A real home from home. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the visits from the deer and rabbits. Rick was very responsive with a couple of queries that we had. Freeland was a great base for exploring Whidbey Island, explore off the beaten track a little and you will find some real gems, we can recommend Island Art Glass, for some beautiful glass work. If we were staying in the area again, we would love to return to Whidbey House.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely and comfortable home. It was extremely clean and had a well stocked kitchen with all of the appliances, gadgets, and spices anyone could hope for. We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this was among the best. The layout of the home was great with plenty of room for all. The dining table seated 8 and there was a kitchen counter for seating as well. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were two bathrooms and a washer/dryer. We had great outdoor space which was quiet with a nice yard for the children to play and watch the deer passing by. They had a pack and play and high chair for young children. The location was wonderful and we enjoyed time at Double Bluff Beach, Useless Bay Beach, Castle Park play/picnic area, shopping and eating ice-cream in Langley, hiking at South Whidbey State Park, lunch at Greenbank Farm, the Saturday Farmers Market, and wandering through the magnificent Meerkerk Gardens. All these fun activities were within a 15 minute drive of this lovely home. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat. Don't miss out on this gem of a property.

This is a beautiful and clean property. There were detailed instructions which we appreciated. This is a first rate property. It is by the golf course but the property is surrounded by trees so we didn’t see the course from the house. There are hiking trails close by as is the water but you do have a short drive to get to those activities. All in all a beautiful stay.

Fully appointed, beautiful and relaxing home. The chefs kitchen was the best! Great communication from the hosts. Langley is a super cute town close by with lots of dining and fun boutiques. My daughters are each at WWU in Bellingham and UW in Seattle this was the perfect halfway point for us all to meet up for a relaxing girls weekend.

The house was on a quiet street within easy access of local beaches and towns. The kitchen was fully stocked as promise, the rooms well laid out, and the check-in smooth. More importantly, the owner was very gracious when he realized, and gently let me know that I had only reserved one night when I thought that I had reserved two nights. We scrambled back to the house and were very relieved to see that the owner and the cleaning staff had things well under control and couldn’t have been more considerate and concerned for our predicament.

Our group of friends came over from Seattle to shop and meet up with a friend who lives on the island. The house was great; all the beds are comfortable, the house is immaculate, easy/ample parking, and the neighborhood is quiet and nice. We loved the little extras like extra blankets & towels, a fully stocked spice collection, and all the canoeing & kayaking decorations. The only thing that wasn\'t perfect was the instructions to take out the trash. The first "welcome" email included instructions to bring the trash to the curb upon checking in, which was off-putting since it was someone else\'s trash and who wants to take out the trash on your vacation? There were so many messages about taking the can to the curb and returning it. I get it but what would happen if we weren\'t there? Maybe just pay someone $30 to do this for you so you don\'t have to ask guests. Other than that, the house is perfect and it was a really nice stay.

The house was spacious, clean and well equipped and decorated place for gathering. The owner was super easy to communicate and everything was so perfectly set up for our group. We enjoyed a 4-min drive to Holmes Harbor Cellar with a beautiful view of the water.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. House was very clean and immediately felt like home. The location was beautiful and quiet. My two year old loved seeing the deer and rabbits that cruised by as well. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home.

This place was perfect for a quick getaway moms-weekend! We loved walking into a super clean home that had everything we needed for our stay. It was in a great quiet location and we even saw deer roaming around near the home. We liked the short distance to Langley and also to Ebey Landing. I would definitely stay there again!

Got check in instructions 12 hours before we left for the stay. Be nice to get them a lil earlier. TV.: need an engineering degree and a credit card to get the tv on. Other than that was super nice. Clean.

This was a cute little house at the end of a road and the neighbors were very nice. The deer came walking through and the birds were chirping. It was a nice day close to the farmers market, grocery stores and even some thrift stores. Nice wineries near by, several to choose from. There was everything in the kitchen you need to cook a meal and the table was big enough to seat 8. We played games that were in the closet. The water pressure was very nice in the showers. The beds were very comfortable and there was many pillows to choose from. We didn't use the BBQ but there is a nice patio set to sit on out back, even a cute intimate table just outside the kitchen. This was a very nice place. The only little compliment was the soaps and shampoos, they were watered down. I guess at this point it is nit picky. My wife was prepared so it was no big deal. The hosts contacted us through the app several times and made sure that we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was as described. Kitchen amenities were great for eating in, and the property was also conveniently located for eating out. Six of us stayed 4 nights, and the house was a very comfortable size for us. Communication with the host was easy and replies were prompt.
