The Hideaway w/ Fire Pit ~ 18 Mi to Tampa!

Our family really enjoyed the expansive yard with fun activities along with the proximity to family in the nearby towns. The host was quick to communicate and provided useful details about the property and stay.

My wife and I came to Florida with our teenage daughters to visit family. We stayed in another house with many problems, and an extremely rude and unhelpful host for 3 days before we'd had enough and found this place.First impressions are powerful! My first impression of this property was that everything looks like the pictures, and actually EXCEEDS the expectations I had for this place. Everything was so CLEAN! The beds and other furniture was super comfortable. The interior decor is perfectly chosen and placed to reinforce the sense of peace instilled by the landscape outside.The outdoor space is phenomenal! Our youngest daughter had so much fun on the tree swing, and the rest of us took time to relax in the hammock. It was nice seeing the neighbor's horses out every day. The canopy of trees provided a haven from the hot sun, and the constant gentle breeze reminded us to relax and enjoy this sanctuary for a little while.The kitchen had a very large stainless steel skillet which I used several times to cook everything from fried eggs to steaks. It heats evenly and is super easy to clean. There is also a drip coffee maker which we used every day (coffee was provided but we already had our own), and a blender which we didn't use on this trip. Also the water is very clean from the tap, but there is also filtered water available from the fridge if needed.The bathrooms are great. Very tastefully decorated. Good water pressure in the showers, plenty of towels and washcloths to use. The towels are very soft and absorbent.Our host was an absolute HERO. There was a problem with our air conditioner, but he jumped through hoops to keep us comfortable throughout our stay! He checked in with us from time to time to make sure things were going well, and to see if there was anything we needed. He lives to see his guests happy. When an amenity is not up to his standards, he doesn't make excuses, he takes care of it right away.This place will be a perfect peaceful retreat for your vacation, and the host is the best! We will definitely be back!

We went for a family ER. I was concerned about location in closeness to family and hospital. It was perfect. The house was clean and well supplied. It was set on a beautifully landscaped property with volley ball, horse shoes, grill and solar lights ,that at night looked like a fairy garden. The location is private but within 4 minutes you are close to resultants, shopping, activities. Close to Tampa, Clearwater, beach, etc… The owner was amazing. Quick to respond. We needed to extend and he helped us through that process. So very kind. We would not only stay here again but highly recommend this home.

Beautiful Location and Awesome Hosts A perfect house located in a secluded, manicured wooded 3 acre lot. This is a true getaway if you value privacy and comfort. We were here for 5 nights and spent every day visiting with a nearby friend. Our only regret is that we couldn't spend more time on the property. The hosts are amazing couple who went above and beyond to ensure that every possible need was met and then some. They have set the bar very high for us, and I only hope there is room "at the inn" when we come back in a few months. We visit 3 or 4 times a year, and love the area. We keep coming back because of the country feel, yet still close to anything you could ask for in stores, restaurants, etc.
