Cozy and comfortable. Well stocked and clean

Our two night stay was magnificent! We used this as homebase for doing a lot of things in the area. TJ was a great host. He communicated frequently and clearly. While we didn’t need anything, he touched base to make sure we were comfortable. The house is updated and had everything we needed. The tree lined street and neighborhood were so nice. Would highly recommend!

This property we would characterize as "fine". Not bad. Not great. The pros: Nice neighborhood, updated appliances and a well stocked kitchen, plenty of utensils, state of the art thermostat/good heating & A/C. The cons: When we walked in, we noticed an unpleasant odor throughout the house. It isn't pet or smoke oriented, just unpleasant. The house also wasn't super clean. The steps in the house were pretty dirty, and there were stains on some of the bedding & pillows, which was pretty off-putting. Lastly, this didn't affect the review per se, but as another reviewer mentioned, there's only 1 mirror in the house, located in the bathroom. So if someone is in the bathroom, and the rest of the family is getting ready for a night out, there's no other mirror! It's a minor thing, but we noticed its absence. We've stayed in many VRBO's in the past few years, and for this price point (500 per night), we'd expect it to be cleaner and have no odor.

What a lovely stay! We enjoyed the property and it was just as pictured.

In town with family for the zoo and Tigers game. Only 15 minutes away from the zoo and in a darling tree lined neighborhood. Amazing school playground a block away and tons of great restaurants close by. House itself is clean and neat. Comfy beds, massage chairs and yoga mats were perfect after all of the zoo walking. Son had a blast playing on the old school video game console. Would absolutely stay here again.
