BLVE Cabin w/ Hot Tub,Sauna,Cold Plunge,Game Room Near Bushkill Falls & Shawnee

We stayed at a cabin in the Pocono Mountains and the location is the highlight—quiet, private, and a great area. The sauna and hot tub were nice features and added to the stay.That said, the property needs significant maintenance. There are multiple safety and structural concerns, including an uneven deck that appears to be pulling away from the house, a balcony showing signs of rot, and steeply poured concrete steps. The storm door closer was broken, and there were no visible carbon monoxide detectors. The hot tub exhaust setup under the deck appeared improvised. The porch swing was being held up with trailer pins and cotter pins.Inside, there were several issues. The basement game room had a strong sewage odor, and the dishwasher was not secured and pulled out when opened. Climate control was difficult with window AC units and baseboard heat. Lighting is very harsh, and the kitchen island fixture hangs low at face level.There are no TVs in any rooms, and some furnishings felt incomplete (limited clothing storage, mismatched patio cushions). The grill was barely functional, and no utensils were provided. Several exterior lights were out, and overall upkeep could be improved.The property is managed through VRBO by a third-party company with very rigid policies.Great location, but the condition does not match expectations. Strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat in a stunning location. Property was clean and well maintained and equipped. Host was very communicative.

My family and I traveled up to the Poconos for my son’s birthday. It was an adorable blue cabin that was well-maintained and very cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the fire pit and large basement. It was very clean and in good condition. The owner responded quickly to messages and was super kind. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The property was very clean and the amenities were great! The host were so helpful and friendly djring our entire stay and even allowed us to extend our time here! Absolutely amazing, a great place to stay for some peace and tranquility!

Great getaway house ! Cozy and beautiful location close to alot of activities. The wood burning hot tub was a hot. My husband had a great time learning the logistics and how it worked ! Everything was xlean and cozy ! Wouod rexommend and fo theee again!
