We were a little early for foliage but we had a great time anyway. Almost Heaven is just that! Only a few minutes outside of BR on a hillside with a gorgeous early morning and sunset view. The cabin had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The kitchen was more than we needed, Wifi was strong and the TV's had streaming and a solid Dish package. In all of the bedrooms, the mattresses were terrific and there were plenty of bedding options. Like the bedrooms, all 3 bathrooms were spacious and complete. The deck was huge, the hot tub was great and the fire pit setup was perfect. Would we return? Absolutely!

We loved our stay at this cabin. Everything was as described. It was well stocked even though we had brought things like spices and extra towels and laundry detergent and napkins, etc. the rooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable. We have stayed many beautiful places and the beds would not be comfortable, these definitely were. There was plenty of room for our 4 kids (2 teens) and one grandma, too. We enjoyed the screened in porch morning and night and used the hot tub a few times. I only wish there had been more lighting at the hot tub, but other than that, this cabin had all the comforts of home. The laundry room was a nice thing to have with such a large family. If we were in the area again we would definitely stay there again. We even loved the neighborhood and went on a few walks while we were there and met some neighbors.

The cabin was nice and cozy. We had plants of space to play game, dance, talk, and just enjoy ourselves. The ladies enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit despite the chilly weather. Everyone was comfortable and the scenery was breathtaking.

Almost Heaven is a very spacious cabin with a gorgeous view, a wraparound deck and lovely sunset views. The host had excellent communication with us and answered all of our questions. We had a very peaceful stay and would recommend it anyone looking for a calm getaway. It’s private and quiet yet close enough to drive around to the different towns in the area.

Almost Heaven lives up to it's name. The setting is like a national park, the view gorgeous! The cabin is lovely, well appointed and comfortable. The many amenities added to the charm and enjoyment: gas fireplace, hot tub, game room, and our favorite the back deck to sit and drink in nature's beauty. It is a refreshing escape great for family and friends. Rachel was easy to contact and a gracious host. We enjoyed the yummy apple butter she left us for breakfast. Thank you We will be back.

Above all, the communication with the property manager, Rachel, was some of the best I've ever experienced. She gave an abundance of information regarding the house and surrounding area. She left a personalized note and gift (what?!) from a local business (a jar of apple butter -- I *love* apple butter) waiting for us when we walked in. And overall, just made the welcome that much more sweeter. We were only at this house for the weekend, but we wish we could have stayed longer. This is one of the most well-stocked rental houses we've ever stayed in. Not just for the kitchen, but also the bathrooms and the laundry room, and with plenty of beach towels for the hot tub and rafting. Plenty of room for 5 adults. The decks were amazing to sit out on for the two mornings we were there, drinking coffee and spying on the wildlife. It was a wonderful short stay, and we highly recommend this rental.

Great cabin with a beautiful view, lots of deer, and a huge deck to view it on. We had a wonderful time relaxing here, plenty of room, nice jacuzzi. Great communication and even allowed us to check in earlier. Definitely a cabin worth coming back to!

Great stay! Our group of four seniors had a super stay at Almost Heaven! More than enough room. It has a nice kitchen to cook any of your meals. There are relaxing views from the screened in porch. Continue out on the open deck to get a closer look of the beautiful mountain sunsets. Booking was very easy! The manager, Rachel was quick in responding to messages and provided great resources of information to plan your stay! Also, provided a personalized greeting for a special touch! Pricing was very reasonable. The check-out instructions were super easy. We would book again!

This cabin is beyond AMAZING! The cabin was clean, central location ( about 11 mins from the town), and the views in the backyard are beautiful! My children (8 &2) had so much fun in the game room that they did not want to leave. The host is very sweet and communicates ASAP on any question you may have. Will defiantly stay here again

From the very moment I contacted Rachel, she was quick to respond to all my questions. Throughout our stay, her and her husband were patient, kind and helpful-going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The entire neighborhood is gorgeous-kept to impeccable standards. The road up to the cabin is completely paved. When we arrived, the view was literally jaw dropping. The cabin was very clean!!! We found everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking meals. Nothing was lacking. The pots and pans were in good shape, plenty of dishes/silverware, even had things like foil, saran, etc. if you need. The porch-both screened in and open is where we spent most of our time enjoying the gorgeous views of layers and layers of mountains. The beds were so comfy and plush, we slept like rocks! We were also able to enjoy the hot tub. I just can't say enough about this place. It is probably the best rental we've ever stayed and we will be planning another visit in the future. Thanks again for everything!

Our family of six stayed here over Christmas. Rachel put up Christmas decorations and a beautiful tree! The cabin is very clean and stocked with everything you need. It is a short drive to town and very easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Rachel responds quickly when you have a question or need anything! My husband and I LOVED staying here for a quick weekend away! The cabin was beautiful, and it was just what we needed. Rachel was a fabulous host- she touched base quickly after booking, and she gave us everything we needed to ensure a smooth and easy check-in and check-out. She also gave us some GREAT tips on how to make the most of our short visit to Blue Ridge (this was our first time in Blue Ridge). All of her recommendations were on point! She was so thoughtful in her communication, and she simply goes above and beyond to make sure her guests have the best time. We traveled as a family with a couple friends to celebrate my husband's birthday in the North Georgia area. The house was absolutely perfect for our group. We loved the coziness, the outdoor patio, hot tub, view, accommodations of the house, cleanliness, and of course the hosts! They really went out of their way to be sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Thank you SO much Rachel and Rafael for making our stay so perfect.

This is our second time staying at Almost Heaven, and the name is perfect! The three living areas, each with their own bathroom, was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well appointed and clean with ample counter space. Entry into the property was electronic, and worked every time. Rachel is a very gracious host who worked to meet our every need. She provides a notebook with numerous places of interest in the Blue Ridge area.There is no way to fully describe the beauty of the view from the back porch. We had to leave a day early to go home because of the likelihood of snow and ice. The roads to the cabin are all paved and have a couple of steep grades. We will definitely book Almost Heaven again, and we will encourage others in our circle of friends and coworkers to book Almost Heaven for this visits to the Blue Ridge area.

We had 3 adults and two teenage boys with us. There was plenty of room for us. The boys enjoyed the loft with the twin beds and private bath. My Mom stayed on the main floor and my husband and I had the basement. It was so easy to leave. Many places have you strip beds and put towels in a central location. We were able to just pack up and leave. There were plenty of things to do and the view was just breath taking. There was a fire pit but we did not use it. We will hopefully be back next year.

The house is large and comfortable. The only problem we had was we’re all old and the stairs were difficult for us. But we had a great time exploring the area, making a fire to enjoy outside, and doing water colors of the surrounding area. This place has literally everything you could need from linens to dishes, coffee makers to blankies in the living room to snuggle up. We’d definitely recommend this place especially to enjoy the fall foliage.

Quiet, comfortable and has all the amenities you will need. The house is very nice - each of 3 bedrooms has an attached bathroom which is perfect for privacy. The kitchen is well stocked, the dining set is large enough for a family of 7. TV's in all the bedrooms, livingroom and rec room. We enjoyed, most of all, the screen porch. The weather wasn't great while we were there - typical unpredictable spring weather. We spent a lot of time in the screen porch enjoying the quiet, the amazing view, and the fresh air. It's a lovely neighborhood and the property is very private. We will definitely stay there again! Excellent response from the amazing (and accommodating) owner - you will not be disappointed! Blue Ridge is a cute town with lots of food choices if you prefer not to cook!

We’re from SW Florida and were very much looking forward to the full mountain experience. Blue Ridge and this house met and exceeded our expectations! From the moment we checked in to the moment we left we were so comfortable and relaxed. All of the throw blankets and the cozy gas fireplace encouraged us to just sit down and relax. The views were nothing short of perfection thanks to the huge deck. With the cool nights and the super soft sheets we slept like babies! What else can I say, the hosts and the property as a whole were just what we needed. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking!

The views were nothing short of perfection thanks to the huge deck. With the cool nights and the super soft sheets we slept like babies! What else can I say, the hosts and the property as a whole were just what we needed. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking!

We had an amazing 4th of July weekend at almost heaven. 6 of us (4 adults & 2 toddlers) we had all the room and amenities needed. We slept on the main floor comfortable king bedroom and our friends in the basement which had a separate bedroom with a queen bed and tv area. There was also a loft with 2 twin beds & futon which we did not use but definitely would when the kids are older! The house sits on the top of a hill with beautiful views of the blue ridge mountains. Literally almost heaven.

Great stay! Our group of four seniors had a super stay at Almost Heaven! More than enough room. It has a nice kitchen to cook any of your meals. There are relaxing views from the screened in porch. Continue out on the open deck to get a closer look of the beautiful mountain sunsets. Booking was very easy! The manager, Rachel was quick in responding to messages and provided great resources of information to plan your stay! Also, provided a personalized greeting for a special touch! Pricing was very reasonable. The check-out instructions were super easy. We would book again!

Great cabin. Beautiful view. We came at the right time for the Fall Colors. Owner was very attentive to a couple of items we suggested. The person who they have that maintains the cabin took care of them within a day. Really like the community/neighborhood and it definately was easily accessible. Hope to return, maybe for a longer stay.

From the very moment I contacted Rachel, she was quick to respond to all my questions. Throughout our stay, her and her husband were patient, kind and helpful-going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The entire neighborhood is gorgeous-kept to impeccable standards. The road up to the cabin is completely paved. When we arrived, the view was literally jaw dropping. The cabin was very clean!!! We found everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking meals. Nothing was lacking. The pots and pans were in good shape, plenty of dishes/silverware, even had things like foil, saran, etc. if you need. The porch-both screened in and open is where we spent most of our time enjoying the gorgeous views of layers and layers of mountains. The beds were so comfy and plush, we slept like rocks! We were also able to enjoy the hot tub. I just can't say enough about this place. It is probably the best rental we've ever stayed and we will be planning another visit in the future. Thanks again for everything!

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Almost Heaven! Our host Rachel was awesome and had great communication with us! Check in and out was easy and not complicated. We have stayed at other cabins where there was 3 pages of what to do when checking out. Rachel had it very simple and easy for us. The views were amazing and we saw a ton of wild life! The cabin was easy to get to and sits on a ton of property. We plan to have this as our yearly cabin! Thank you Rachel

Almost Heaven lives up to it's name. The setting is like a national park, the view gorgeous! The cabin is lovely, well appointed and comfortable. The many amenities added to the charm and enjoyment: gas fireplace, hot tub, game room, and our favorite the back deck to sit and drink in nature's beauty. It is a refreshing escape great for family and friends. Rachel was easy to contact and a gracious host. We enjoyed the yummy apple butter she left us for breakfast. Thank you We will be back.

Above all, the communication with the property manager, Rachel, was some of the best I've ever experienced. She gave an abundance of information regarding the house and surrounding area. She left a personalized note and gift (what?!) from a local business (a jar of apple butter -- I *love* apple butter) waiting for us when we walked in. And overall, just made the welcome that much more sweeter. We were only at this house for the weekend, but we wish we could have stayed longer. This is one of the most well-stocked rental houses we've ever stayed in. Not just for the kitchen, but also the bathrooms and the laundry room, and with plenty of beach towels for the hot tub and rafting. Plenty of room for 5 adults. The decks were amazing to sit out on for the two mornings we were there, drinking coffee and spying on the wildlife. It was a wonderful short stay, and we highly recommend this rental.

Our family planned a spring break vacation to this property and we had a great time. The kitchen was well furnished even with supplies and staples not normally found in vacation rentals. The layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms gave plenty of privacy. Rachel and her husband were very quick to respond to questions we had and were extremely helpful. We highly recommend this home for your vacation needs.

We were a little early for foliage but we had a great time anyway. Almost Heaven is just that! Only a few minutes outside of BR on a hillside with a gorgeous early morning and sunset view. The cabin had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The kitchen was more than we needed, Wifi was strong and the TV's had streaming and a solid Dish package. In all of the bedrooms, the mattresses were terrific and there were plenty of bedding options. Like the bedrooms, all 3 bathrooms were spacious and complete. The deck was huge, the hot tub was great and the fire pit setup was perfect. Would we return? Absolutely!

This is our second time staying at Almost Heaven, and the name is perfect! The three living areas, each with their own bathroom, was perfect for our group. We will definitely book Almost Heaven again, and we will encourage others in our circle of friends and coworkers to book Almost Heaven for this visits to the Blue Ridge area.

Almost Heaven is a very spacious cabin with a gorgeous view, a wraparound deck and lovely sunset views. The host had excellent communication with us and answered all of our questions. We had a very peaceful stay and would recommend it anyone looking for a calm getaway. It’s private and quiet yet close enough to drive around to the different towns in the area.

My sister and I booked this adorable cabin to spend time with our parents and celebrate Dad’s 85th birthday and let Mom have some respite from her chemo treatments. This cabin was the perfect place! Very well supplied with anything you would need! The view is amazing! And the furniture was all so comfortable!! Very close to the town of Blue Ridge with wonderful dining!! We loved the big kitchen- plenty of room for three people to cook! Rachel, the owner, was readily available to answer our questions! I highly recommend this cabin.

Quiet, comfortable and has all the amenities you will need. The house is very nice - each of 3 bedrooms has an attached bathroom which is perfect for privacy. The kitchen is well stocked, the dining set is large enough for a family of 7. TV's in all the bedrooms, livingroom and rec room. We enjoyed, most of all, the screen porch. The weather wasn't great while we were there - typical unpredictable spring weather. We spent a lot of time in the screen porch enjoying the quiet, the amazing view, and the fresh air. It's a lovely neighborhood and the property is very private. We will definitely stay there again! Excellent response from the amazing (and accommodating) owner - you will not be disappointed! Blue Ridge is a cute town with lots of food choices if you prefer not to cook!

My husband and I LOVED staying here for a quick weekend away! The cabin was beautiful, and it was just what we needed. Rachel was a fabulous host- she touched base quickly after booking, and she gave us everything we needed to ensure a smooth and easy check-in and check-out. Not just for the kitchen, but also the bathrooms and the laundry room, and with plenty of beach towels for the hot tub and rafting. Plenty of room for 5 adults. The decks were amazing to sit out on for the two mornings we were there, drinking coffee and spying on the wildlife. It was a wonderful short stay, and we highly recommend this rental.

My sister and I booked this adorable cabin to spend time with our parents and celebrate Dad’s 85th birthday and let Mom have some respite from her chemo treatments. This cabin was the perfect place! Very well supplied with anything you would need! The view is amazing! And the furniture was all so comfortable!! Very close to the town of Blue Ridge with wonderful dining!! We loved the big kitchen- plenty of room for three people to cook! Rachel, the owner, was readily available to answer our questions! I highly recommend this cabin.

Great stay! Our group of four seniors had a super stay at Almost Heaven! More than enough room. It has a nice kitchen to cook any of your meals. There are relaxing views from the screened in porch. Continue out on the open deck to get a closer look of the beautiful mountain sunsets. Booking was very easy! The manager, Rachel was quick in responding to messages and provided great resources of information to plan your stay! Also, provided a personalized greeting for a special touch! Pricing was very reasonable. The check-out instructions were super easy. We would book again!

So happy to able to enjoy our favorite cabin again. The outside property is massive and perfect for our children to freely roam, play, and relax without worry. We love the floor plan, amazing deck and patio views. Its location is perfect if your a family on the go. We didnt miss a beat hitting the trails, caves and mountain coasters all within an easy 1.5hrs. Also ..Project Chimps is right up the the road if you want a close to home hike or experience a scheduled tour. This cabin is a family must!! Thanks again for another amazing spring break cabin experience

Cabin was in great shape and included all the amenities both inside & outside. Mountain views were tremendous. A big plus all roads are paved and close to Blue Ridge. Host was very attentive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this cabin for a mountain vacation. Randy H
