Dream getaway apartment in the foot of Gunks Ridge

Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. The property is just as colorful and comfortable as the photos! Had a great time here with three friends- would recommend for young groups, since the kitchen is tight and the beds are low. We were able to cook wonderfully and make fires. Lovely decor Nice area, definitely a getaway from bustling life. Low signal/ service outside of WiFi at the house. Please note that the property is shared with the owner, but he and his wife are friendly and extremely helpful! We didn’t have too much contact with them during our stay, but you might see them passing by. This residence is essentially a lower level in-law suite to the main house. Was not a problem Only room for improvement is the check-in process- it’s all done through a third-party/rental-specific website. There is a mandatory damage deposit, but it cannot be paid until about 3 days before the stay which was inconvenient for budgeting reasons. There is an identity check/ face scan component too. Make sure to review your “cart” before paying, since I almost ended up paying for a few optional add-ons.

Wonderful property will definitely book again.

The kitchen was great, lots of tools, fun to cook in!

Serg’s place was comfortable and clean! It was a perfect location for me and my friends to stay while rock climbing in the Gunks. We did not feel cramped or unsafe and the complementary tea was a hit! One thing to note is that both of the beds were low to the ground (below knee level) so if someone has knee or back problems, it might be difficult to stand up out of bed.
