King Size Bed Cozy Studio Non Pool View

Based on previous reviews, I booked! I did not receive the warm welcome others spoke about. I made several inquiries to the host weeks before my arrival, only receiving a reply the day I was in route to the area. When flying to another country it's common to ask for the location information prior to your arrival. This helps to make transportation arrangements. Pros: 1. Accommodations were very clean and property was secured. 2. We received 2 beach towels on arrival. 3. Close to Hotel Banana Azul, that has a restaurant, store and welcomed us to have breakfast. 4. Close to beach that can be accessed through Hotel Banana Azul. 5. 7 min ride to city center Puerta Viejo. Cons: 1. Problems finding the property as host did not supply information in advance. 2. Cable and internet went out. 3. Water pressure low in morning 4. Awful raw sewage smelled that lasted for several hours. 5. Power went out a few times 6. Hot tub not HOT! 7. No iron or ironing board. 8. No laundry near by. ***We left the beach towels in unit on our departure. No clear communication if they were a gift. Did not want owner to charge us.***

This property is in a wonderful location! Close to the town and all the beaches! It’s a short walk to playa Negra, a store, and a wonderful restaurant! The pool was wonderful in the evenings and my teenagers enjoyed during the day! We always felt safe and we walked several days! We became friends with Martha the lady who cleans! She was precious and made sure we had towels for the pool and bath!

This was a very nice location, close enough to walk and bike to town. Nice clean apartment, with plenty of room to relax. Very close to the beach.

We had a great stay at this property. Our kids loved the pool with waterfall feature. Only 6 or so units so not crowded at all. Very safe gated parking with high tech coded entry. We liked the location, a bit more quiet and secluded (which we were looking for) but still a short drive to town and short walk to the beach. Very nice and modern, newer property. Host was responsive and very helpful! We would love to stay here again next time we visit the area.

Brand new apartment units. Clean, modern, secure. No bugs! Beautiful pool with comfy outdoor loungers. Quiet even though downtown fun only a 5 minute drive away- great Puerto Viejo location. !
