A lot of positives about this property: location is great, excellent communication with owner, really good air conditioning, off street covered parking. Some things to be aware of: the bathroom is very tight. My husband (wasn't with me) is a big guy and would have had a hard time in the space. The mattresses are very soft if that is a problem for some (not for me). I would probably stay there again if I travel alone.

Southern Pines is a great town, perfect for our 2 week holiday. The house is a 5 minute walk from downtown and therefore close to restaurants and shops, in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Our host quickly got us access to some tv channels, but no cable was available on arrival - the ad now says "no cable", but didn’t at the time we booked. We have never had that situation before. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to par. I am sure the hosts can remedy that with the cleaning service.

Overall we had a wonderful time, and would recommend the location for others who want to be close to downtown Southern Pines.

Loved my stay! Cottage was immaculate and within walking distance of the main drag in So Pines! All the amenities and my host was so welcoming and responsive. Will be back!

Stayed here with my father for a short golf trip. Was plenty of space for myself and him. Fantastic location conveniently located to many restaurants and shopping. Any golf course in the area you want to play is no more than 15-20 minutes away from this property. Property manager was very responsive and easy to deal with. Absolutely recommend this property if you have a small group or travel as a couple.

We loved this cottage. It was close to all of the great restaurants, shopping and bars in Southern Pines! We had more fun here than our usual pre-NYE spots of Boone, Asheville and Wilmington. The house is one street from the main part of downtown Southern Pines, but is still so quiet. We slept great both nights! The house is perfect and provides all the comforts of home! Thank you so much!

The cottage was super cute, great location, everything we needed. The only item to note is that due to the homes age (which is part of its character), the bathroom toilet area is very snug. It worked fine, but I do think it is to be noted if you have any above average sized folks joining you. Had a great location, walkable to many things, including Saturday Farmers Market.

The property was exactly as advertised. Very easy to walk to everything that we wanted to do in the area.If you’re a light sleeper, you may have issues with the train going by late night and the church bells 1st thing in the morning.

House was exactly like pictured. Not disappointed at all. Even walked into flowers in a vase for my birthday from the Host! Bed, pillows, blankets, towels were perfect & well stocked! Quick walk to all the restaurants & shopping! The train whistle at 9:35pm each night just made me smile. Love the little town atmosphere with the tracks in the center of it all. Spent a lot of money shopping & eating!!!! Will stay in this house again when coming back!

Any golf course in the area you want to play is no more than 15-20 minutes away from this property. Property manager was very responsive and easy to deal with. We had such an amazing time in this adorable cottage. We walked to everything and were able to come back in the afternoon and relax on the front porch in the rocking chair gliders. Host is very responsive and gave great suggestions on things to do. There is also a binder with favorite spots! Highly recommend 10/10!!

We stayed over New Years weekend while visiting our son who is stationed at Ft. Bragg. The property is a very charming cottage in a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. We enjoyed shopping downtown in Southern Pines. The checkin/checkout process was very simple and the owners were great with communication. Would definitely stay again!

Enjoyed our short stay in Southern Pines. House is cute and is walkable to all the downtown Southern Pines locations that we like: Betsy's Crepes and the Sly Fox. Also close by to Weymouth Nature Preserve for hiking.

Quaint little older home. Very clean, well stocked with linens, coffee, shampoo, body wash, etc. Extremely convenient to downtown Southern Pines. Ample parking for two cars. Had concerns over electrical outlets. The outlets in the kitchen and smaller bedroom sparked everytime something was plugged into them. The house was built in the 1940's, so understandably there was a noticeable smell (musty). Kitchen had been renovated, but it was obvious some things went lacking (ceiling was painted in patches). There were small holes on a wall in the small bedroom. A string of lights in the yard did not work.

This was one of the best properties we have rented in SP. Host was amazing and made check in and out super easy. Walking into town was super easy and a beautiful walk. Will def stay here again.

This house was fantastic. Such a quant house in a perfect location. They had everything we needed. Unfortunately it was too cold to sit outside but would love to come back in the spring. Beds were comfortable and toiletries provided as well as coffee. We walked to all the shops in town and easy driving to Pinehurst. This was our second stay at this house and will come again. Loved it!
