The “shack” was cozy and wonderfullly appointed. It had all the comforts of home. Our host(s) were very responsive to all our queries and would reply within a short time. The location, very close to Brattleboro and close to great skiing, is another point of recommendation.We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the River Shack wholeheartedly!

The River Shack was all we had hoped and more! Well kept property with tons of amenities. Check in was easy, detailed instructions, and everything we needed was provided. The river was beautiful, and the surrounding area and towns were peaceful and pleasant. We made so many wonderful memories! Thank you to our hosts… it was amazing!

The River Shack was awesome. We spent alot of time relaxing by the river. The cabin was well stocked and had everything we needed.

My spouse, our daughter, our two small dogs and I immediately felt comfortable and welcome upon entering the home. You have everything you need, comfortable, clean and serene spaces. The view of the river is amazing and so wonderful to spend time by the water. Looking forward to returning in the summer when it is warmer so we can swim and go tubing in the river.

Love this property. We had everything we needed and then some. wasn't exactly sure as to where to put the trash as I don't have email on my phone , therefore I didn't receive the email about the trash and laundry until I got back home. I would rather have been able to text but everything worked out for us, and we had a wonderful, relaxing time.
