Celebration of my 70th birthday was awesome. Sand Pond was frozen over and provided some great Ice fishing. The house was awesome and had everything we needed to make it special. Room for family and a couple friends. Watched the NFC championship games with room for everyone. I highly recommend this location for a family getaway.

Perfect family vacation!Sunfish Cove was the perfect vacation spot for our large, 12-person family gathering. Plenty of room for everyone! We loved the layout with wraparound porch, the game room for the kids. Lots of board games available. We spent our days swimming or kayaking. Everything we needed for a perfect family vacation was provided. Our host Carl was responsive to our questions. When an issue came up, he sent a handyman out to fix it within just a couple of hours. I would definitely book Sunfish Cove again!

Pack your bag, that’s all you need, the hosts have thought of everything, they were wonderful to work with when planning our trip. Upon arrival we were greeted with a large, clean, beautiful home. We vacationed with our three sons and their families and there was plenty of room. Loved the porch! The kitchen is so well stocked, the kids even baked! The downstairs with the ping pong and foosball tables were great, lots of room for all kinds of games, tv etc. Large yard, lots of “toys” to use, kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, different size life jackets and floats. The she shed is so adorable, we used it as a quiet space for reading lol. I highly recommend sunfish cove, you will love it!

We are a group of nine ranging in age from 1 to 57 and this house was just perfect for us! Fully equipped and comfortable. I was worried that no a/c would be an issue, but it was not. Ceiling fans and breezes keep the house comfortable during the day and even cool at night. Everything from the house to the canoe and kyaks, fire pit and porch were more than we could have asked for! Perfect way to relax and enjoy family!

We spent a long weekend here as a group of 13 adults and found the location to be amenable to everyone’s interests, including skiing and snowboarding, tubing, ice fishing, and day trips to Augusta and Portland. Everything was clean and as advertised on VRBO and furniture covers/blankets were available in nearly every room so our dog was just as welcome. Sleeping quarters were rather tight but the kitchen and living areas were very open and spacious, more than making up for it; in addition the kitchen and grill were well stocked with appliances to cook for large groups.We experienced a plumbing issue during our stay that temporarily took one bathroom out of working order, but the host was very communicative and helped figure out solutions while sending a plumber out to the house before the weekend was up. Overall, would recommend this location to friends and would love to return in the summer to take advantage of the beautiful porch overlooking the lake.

This house was exactly what we needed for a northern getaway! We went with a total of 13 people and the house fulfilled our every need. The highlight,of course, was the beautiful location. Right on the water, the property provides everything you need to enjoy yourself.... including fishing gear, kayaks, and a canoe. We spent most of our nights outside enjoying the fire pit and the beautiful sunrises over the pond. Highly recommend this property.

8 of us stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary and spend some quality time together. The house was great, and had plenty of room for all of us. We especially enjoyed the enclosed porch overlooking the water, the game room, and the boats. We cooked all our meals there so we really appreciated the very well stocked kitchen with most any dish, or gadget you could want. There was an unexpected problem with the furnace but the host was very responsive and helpful in trying to get it fixed, provided extra space heaters, and graciously allowed us extra time for checkout for the hassle. We had a fantastic time here making wonderful family memories and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Our family had such a wonderful time at Sunfish Cove. The property is right on the water and the morning sunrises were the absolute best. There was plenty of room for our family of 8 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The sunroom overlooking the lake was perfect for morning coffee and for just hanging out. We enjoyed many mornings/afternoons boating and exploring the Tacoma Lakes and also took advantage of the many kayaks and canoes provided for our use. Great property, cannot wait to come back!!!

We loved the property. There was plenty of room for all our guests, and despite being older home everything was well maintained. There was also many things to do on property indoors and outdoors - videos, ping pong, foos ball, paddle boat, etc. I highly recommend for future vacations.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and the amenities were perfect. The kids had fun with all the games. The hosts responded quickly to all questions and had great suggestions for activities in the area. When we return we will be sure to stay again.

Such a charming home! It was the perfect place for our family of 5 plus two grandparents. Everything was clean when we arrived and the kitchen was well equipped. We especially liked the front porch. And the lake is beautiful! We really enjoyed swimming and sunning on the dock.

A lovely, clean house with a peaceful view of the water, this was a great choice for a family gathering. We were able to seamlessly host Thanksgiving, with new appliances and so much already provided. The attention to detail and differentiated space made for a great flow. We also traveled with two small kids, and were easily able to adapt. Highly recommend this for a cozy winter space, and I can see how it would be a delight in the summer as well!

We loved the house and the big wrap around enclosed porches make it spacious! The lake is quiet and beautiful, the property is nicely private for a lake front home. The house clearly dates way back, but necessary updates and upgrades have been done to make it comfortable and much more of a home than a camp. Hope to stay again!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this vacation property! Everything exceeded our expectations – the place looked exactly as pictured, if not better. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Beautiful and spacious home for our extended family ranging from ages 2 to 63! The property and lake is very private and peaceful. We saw loons, bald eagles, lots of fish! Waterfront is where we spent most of the day swimming, kayaking, fishing and floating! We loved having morning coffee and meals on the bright screened in porch and the house stayed cool with the open windows and screened doors. Host was responsive to all of our questions. Would love to go back tomorrow if we could!

The sunroom overlooking the lake was perfect for morning coffee and for just hanging out. We enjoyed many mornings/afternoons boating and exploring the Tacoma Lakes and also took advantage of the many kayaks and canoes provided for our use. Great property, cannot wait to come back!!!
Our family had such a wonderful time at Sunfish Cove. The property is right on the water and the morning sunrises were the absolute best. There was plenty of room for our family of 8 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of room for everyone. We stayed 7 nights in September at this beautiful home. Very spacious and plenty of comfortable beds. The wrap around enclosed porch and water views were amazing. Most of our time was spent at the property and on the lake. Only the 4-year-old was brave enough for swimming though. Cool evening and warmer days were pleasant. We also enjoyed the local shops and Farm Stand. The cider doughnuts there are highly recommended.

We had the most amazing week at this home. The location was exactly what we were looking for. The house had everything and more you could possibly need to accommodate a large group. We rented a pontoon boat and aside from grocery shopping and one night out to visit a couple local breweries we never had to leave! We rent a house in NH/maine every year and this year had a large group ranging from 17 months to 79 years and all agreed it was one of the best we’ve stayed in so far! The owners were quick to respond the our questions and lovely to chat with. We hope to rent again in the future!

Perfect family vacation!Sunfish Cove was the perfect vacation spot for our large, 12-person family gathering. Plenty of room for everyone! We loved the layout with wraparound porch, the game room for the kids. Lots of board games available. We spent our days swimming or kayaking. Everything we needed for a perfect family vacation was provided. Our host Carl was responsive to our questions. When an issue came up, he sent a handyman out to fix it within just a couple of hours. I would definitely book Sunfish Cove again!

We spent a long weekend here as a group of 13 adults and found the location to be amenable to everyone’s interests, including skiing and snowboarding, tubing, ice fishing, and day trips to Augusta and Portland. Everything was clean and as advertised on VRBO and furniture covers/blankets were available in nearly every room so our dog was just as welcome. Sleeping quarters were rather tight but the kitchen and living areas were very open and spacious, more than making up for it; in addition the kitchen and grill were well stocked with appliances to cook for large groups.We experienced a plumbing issue during our stay that temporarily took one bathroom out of working order, but the host was very communicative and helped figure out solutions while sending a plumber out to the house before the weekend was up. Overall, would recommend this location to friends and would love to return in the summer to take advantage of the beautiful porch overlooking the lake.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and the amenities were perfect. The kids had fun with all the games. The hosts responded quickly to all questions and had great suggestions for activities in the area. When we return we will be sure to stay again.

8 of us stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary and spend some quality time together. The house was great, and had plenty of room for all of us. We especially enjoyed the enclosed porch overlooking the water, the game room, and the boats. We cooked all our meals there so we really appreciated the very well stocked kitchen with most any dish, or gadget you could want. There was an unexpected problem with the furnace but the host was very responsive and helpful in trying to get it fixed, provided extra space heaters, and graciously allowed us extra time for checkout for the hassle. We had a fantastic time here making wonderful family memories and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house is large and filled with charm. It was the perfect spot for our extended family of 11. The home is well stocked, and the hosts are very quick to respond to any queries. Most importantly, nothing beats that lake frontage. Fishing was good too- we caught trout, bass and perch.

We had one of our best New England summer vacation's at Carl and Jill's home. The house suited our family of 5 plus a few friends perfectly. There were plenty of spots throughout the house where everyone could do their own thing (like the hammock, swing, comfy chairs on the lawn, porch table, porch couch, etc) or gather together. We had a few outdoor fires and dinners on the side patio along with the resident mallard duck that loved lounging on the dock. The beds were comfy and the linens soft. This was our first time at this lake and it was beautiful. The water was clear and we all swam right off the front dock. Even though there are houses on either side, it was a quiet spot with plenty of privacy. We all enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boat. The surrounding area was a lot of fun too. We found a great ice cream spot (Fielder's Choice) and a farm with homemade cider donuts. My husband and I had a great time golfing at two local courses- both were well maintained and everyone was super nice. Jill and Carl were attentive and check in and check out were very easy. We are looking forward to coming back next summer.

We loved the house and the big wrap around enclosed porches make it spacious! The lake is quiet and beautiful, the property is nicely private for a lake front home. The house clearly dates way back, but necessary updates and upgrades have been done to make it comfortable and much more of a home than a camp. Hope to stay again!

This house was exactly what we needed for a northern getaway! We went with a total of 13 people and the house fulfilled our every need. The highlight,of course, was the beautiful location. Right on the water, the property provides everything you need to enjoy yourself.... including fishing gear, kayaks, and a canoe. We spent most of our nights outside enjoying the fire pit and the beautiful sunrises over the pond. Highly recommend this property.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this vacation property! Everything exceeded our expectations – the place looked exactly as pictured, if not better. Pack your bag, that’s all you need, the hosts have thought of everything, they were wonderful to work with when planning our trip. Upon arrival we were greeted with a large, clean, beautiful home. We vacationed with our three sons and their families and there was plenty of room. Loved the porch! The kitchen is so well stocked, the kids even baked! The downstairs with the ping pong and foosball tables were great, lots of room for all kinds of games, tv etc. Large yard, lots of “toys” to use, kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, different size life jackets and floats. The she shed is so adorable, we used it as a quiet space for reading lol. I highly recommend sunfish cove, you will love it!

We had a wonderful time in this home. Love the character of an old home with a new addition and modern touches. The porch facing the water was my favorite, can drink coffee and aee the sunrise or sundown. You can even watch those who are ice fishing and take breaks to come inside. The water is right there. We had so much luck with catching fish that we even ate them for supper one evening. We caught trout, large and small bass, yellow perch and a black crappie. It was very exciting. We had a wonderful time in this home. Love the character of an old home with a new addition and modern touches. The porch facing the water was my favorite, can drink coffee and aee the sunrise or sundown. You can even watch those who are ice fishing and take breaks to come inside. The water is right there. We had so much luck with catching fish that we even ate them for supper one evening. We caught trout, large and small bass, yellow perch and a black crappie. It was very exciting. Such a charming home! It was the perfect place for our family of 5 plus two grandparents. Everything was clean when we arrived and the kitchen was well equipped. We especially liked the front porch. And the lake is beautiful! We really enjoyed swimming and sunning on the dock.

8 of us stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary and spend some quality time together. The house was great, and had plenty of room for all of us. We especially enjoyed the enclosed porch overlooking the water, the game room, and the boats. We cooked all our meals there so we really appreciated the very well stocked kitchen with most any dish, or gadget you could want. There was an unexpected problem with the furnace but the host was very responsive and helpful in trying to get it fixed, provided extra space heaters, and graciously allowed us extra time for checkout for the hassle. We had a fantastic time here making wonderful family memories and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house is large and filled with charm. It was the perfect spot for our extended family of 11. The home is well stocked, and the hosts are very quick to respond to any queries. Most importantly, nothing beats that lake frontage. Fishing was good too- we caught trout, bass and perch.

A lovely, clean house with a peaceful view of the water, this was a great choice for a family gathering. We were able to seamlessly host Thanksgiving, with new appliances and so much already provided. The attention to detail and differentiated space made for a great flow. We also traveled with two small kids, and were easily able to adapt. Highly recommend this for a cozy winter space, and I can see how it would be a delight in the summer as well!

Great house you could probably even sleep more than what it sates it sleeps. If there is anything and it is really not a negative was that part of the basement did not have a ceiling, just open rafters.

What a great spot. Perfect for our friends getaway holiday. Enough beds for everyone, room to spread out and not be on top of each other, but be together if we chose to. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. We were delighted when someone would say 'hey did anyone bring' and the reply was always to look in some spot in the kitchen because someone in our crew had seen the item.
