The Cottage - Lithgow

The place was fantastic for our weekend. Really central to everything in the area. The bedrooms were huge and the dining area living area were a good size for us.The kitchen had a fantastic amount of space and was nice and modern. The bathroom was the only let down, so if you prefer a modern, clean, non shabby bathroom, in its current state, this isn't it :) We couldn't use the towel rails as any time we went to put a towel on them the whole thing would fall off the wall onto the floor. We were with two slightly older ladies who also pointed out that the shower was very slippery to get in and out of as there was no rail/handle - something we hadn't considered until we got there and experienced it but is a fair point to consider if you're needing accessability. (as an aside the entire house was full of spider webs and spiders when we entered so hopefully that was just an issue of it not having anyone stay for a while)Overall, we did really enjoy our stay at The Cottage though, it suited us very well - just a few odds and ends that can be made even more awesome.

Great place to stay when in Lithgow, our team travel to Lithgow for work a few times a year and this is a great place to stay when in town.

The home was cosy and homely. Just a few items in kitchen especially if you plan to use it. Noce touch to have electric blankets, gas heater and aircon kept us warm diring winter period.

The house was really clean and comfortable for my young family. The house was nice and warm so everyone was really comfortable at night which was a priority for the time of the year we travelled and with young children. Location was perfect and really easy to get around.

The property was well-maintained and beautiful, with all the necessary amenities needed. It is walking distance from the shops and is in a quiet and peaceful location. There were plenty of books, comfortable lounge chairs, and electric blankets. The house, although small, is elegant and tastefully decorated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here very much.
