Prickly Pear Lounge -Old Town-FREE Heated Pool/Gym

The house is very nice and in a great location. We were locked out of controlling the AC and were forced to be in the house with it being 77-82 for longer than a few hours at times. We communicated with the manager that we wanted it to be lower more consistently and were told the owners said the AC was working as it should be and blamed the high heat outside. It was not communicated in the listing that we would not be in control of the AC and that the temperature would be set in the high 70s low 80s. I would not have booked if that was the case. I do not believe the temperature outside is an excuse for AC not working well within the home especially in a city that is use to these conditions.

Oof, what a rough start. The house hadn't been cleaned, the pool was dirty, the grill was gross, and the temperature in the home was 81. Thankfully, the property management company acknowledged all the errors and attempted to get the place cleaned, but they only contract with one cleaner so instead, the manager came over and did some cleaning while my 65-78 yr old aunts did loads and loads of laundry for hours just so they could have clean sheets to sleep in. The pool was cleaned the next day, the AC guy was called out and made it mildly better on one side of the house and my uncle cleaned the grill. The property management people were very kind and apologetic. They apropriately comped us two nights and the cleaning fee. Having said that, they also do not have enough of what they need to properly service all the homes they have. The home itself is a good size for family gatherings. Open floor plan is nice. Did I mention they were all in town for a funeral? Yeah, that made it harder for sure.

Very comfortable stay. Great location for old town Scottsdale.

We stayed at this property last weekend while we traveled from the Boston area for my sisters bachelorette and we had a great stay! House was super clean and the location is great. Highly recommend!

Everything went well...plenty of room and the pool was nice and warm after paying for it to be heated. The place was very clean, and just as described. The only complaint that my family had was the weak water pressure in the showers...made it difficult to get clean after a day of hiking. Not sure if it was the shower heads themselves or the water pressure as a whole, but that would be something I'd like to see improved. With that being said, I'd book here again for sure...good location near Old Town, good pool, and plenty of clean room for our family!
