Secluded Hilltop w/ Hot tub & Resort Access

Very clean and the owners were helpful and quick to respond. Top tub was clean as well. I would recommend this house and we will be coming back next year.

Property was hidden and good size, stocked well. Trash was overflowing in the shed from previous stays and the hot tub never got warm enough (other reviewers have noted similar problem)some lights not working properly, half decorated Xmas tree. Overall I would not have left a negative review and I didn’t make a stink about any of this as my husband was sick during the visit and I didn’t want to deal with arranging the fixes. Until…after check out I was sent pictures of my shampoo/conditioner residue in the shower. I did pay a cleaning fee so I don’t think scrubbing the shower before check out is an even close to reasonable request. On check in I was informed the prior visitor had ripped the microwave door off, ok no big deal, but then to be accused of staining 2 chairs we sat in for maybe 20 minutes the entire stay I was left feeling disappointed. It was only my husband and I the whole visit and he even swept the floor before leaving, so being reprimanded for shampoo residue and false accusations of staining chairs has left a bad taste in my mouth over the stay. Feeling stressed out Sunday night after a weekend away is not what I expected after our stay. Other hosts usually thank us for being responsible and clean renters and have always welcomed us back.

Beds are a little bit dated

The property was well cleaned and the manager was very responsive. However, we booked the stay for the hot tub , and it never got to temperature so we weren’t able to use it.

We loved our stay here. Golfed on our way up at Lochmere C.C. and also played at Owl's Nest Resort, which is very close to the house. Both golf courses were very well maintained, had lots of character and beautiful views. Explored Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves as well. Really enjoyed ending the day in the hot tub, looking up at the stars. Played a little ping pong and pool as well. Overall a very nice getaway.
