We stayed two nights on either side of a one day canoe trip that didn't happen because of flooding. It didn't matter because there are many other places to enjoy including this property. This cabin is great for two people and a pet or two. The cabin is very comfy and shower is strong and hot. The porch, grill, fire circle, creek, etc. were great.

We stayed at this lovely and cozy cabin over Thanksgiving week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of the cabin is perfect — close to a Dollar General for any last minute needs! We loved exploring the beautiful area and the cabin was a nice place to come back to and relax. The fire pit was awesome! The only addition that would be great would be a folding table and chairs. It was a bit too cold for us to eat outside, so we had to do a bit of maneuvering with eating and playing games. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in a wonderful place!

Peaceful, quiet, and simple. Loved the outdoor space and the mostly secluded area. Would have appreciated directions other than google map. Google...YIKES!

We wanted to get away to somewhere quiet with the goal of unplugging and resting in preparation for a busy holiday season in the retail business. Goal achieved! The cabin had cell service, which my husband was very thankful for, but no TV, which made me happy! Even the rainy day on Wednesday did not dampen our experience. It was a day we could spend inside, reading, napping, and (gasp!) talking to each other! The location is near all of the beautiful springs and rivers, so we made a point to go see something each day, but just a short trip. Dinners were cooked on the outside grill and eaten out on the deck where most of my time was spent during the day. Oh, and the stars were so bright! We will try to make this unplugged week a yearly thing!

Ron was super nice and super easy to get a hold of each and every time I reached out to him before the trip and during the trip. He accommodated my request to check in early and check out late with no problem at all. He gave several suggestions on who to contact for float trips in the area. He was nice enough to come by in person on our first day to check to see if everything was going OK and if we needed anything and even went back home and got firewood for us (for free) and brought it back to the cabin for us to use. The cabin itself is cute and cozy and in a wonderful setting in the woods (lots of privacy even with the other 2 cabins near by). I brought my 10-year-old son and his favorite part was the creek that runs through the wooded property. It’s also very close to town within a few minutes of Dollar General and everything else that the town of Eminence has to offer. My son and I will definitely be back this summer when we can enjoy the rivers even more!

It was conveniently located & you still had the privacy. The cabin was perfect with a porch & fire pit, gas BBQ. All the comforts of home. Very clean. Ron couldn't have been any nicer. We will definitely come back.

Owner and staff were very friendly. Place was very clean and coffee,tea, soaps and shampoo all supplied. Was in a very beautiful and private setting. I would most definitely return for another stay.

The host could not BE any nicer or easy to work with. He let us stay late for the eclipse with no fuss. And mailed back a CPAP machine I accidentally left there. The cabin was exactly the right size for a getaway weekend to view the eclipse. Everything was clean, it is easy to find, bit feels remote. We want to explore the property next time we stay - cannot wait to find the creek! We think this could be our base when we float the Jack’s Fork. Excellent all around!

This cabin was inadvertently double booked so the host contacted me quickly to offer an alternative accommodation - Deadwood Valley Cabin. This place was an upgrade from my original pick and was amazing. Super clean, very quiet, and had every amenity I needed. Located in a secluded area still in Eminence. The host was very attentive and responsive and made our visit much more delightful. I would def recommend staying here!

Great location! Easy check in. The host was gracious and welcoming. Cabin was just right! Multiple hiking trails nearby. Campfire and lots of laughing!!! Great place to unwind and relax!

Property is perfect and is in an excellent location for people canoeing/floating Jack’s Fork and or Current River

My sister's and I stayed in this cabin and we had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. This is the perfect location to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

We wanted to get away to somewhere quiet with the goal of unplugging and resting in preparation for a busy holiday season in the retail business. Goal achieved! The cabin had cell service, which my husband was very thankful for, but no TV, which made me happy! Even the rainy day on Wednesday did not dampen our experience. It was a day we could spend inside, reading, napping, and (gasp!) talking to each other! The location is near all of the beautiful springs and rivers, so we made a point to go see something each day, but just a short trip. Dinners were cooked on the outside grill and eaten out on the deck where most of my time was spent during the day. Oh, and the stars were so bright! We will try to make this unplugged week a yearly thing!

The Cabins are secluded but close to town. A lot of work has gone into this place. Really nice.

The host could not BE any nicer or easy to work with. He let us stay late for the eclipse with no fuss. And mailed back a CPAP machine I accidentally left there. The cabin was exactly the right size for a getaway weekend to view the eclipse. Everything was clean, it is easy to find, bit feels remote. We want to explore the property next time we stay - cannot wait to find the creek! We think this could be our base when we float the Jack’s Fork. Excellent all around!

A beautiful quiet spot to unwind and unplug. It truly is a piece of Missouri Heaven! My husband and I enjoyed our stay here immensely and can not wait to return. Ron is a fantastic host. The cabin was spotless and cozy. Definitely recommend.

We had a great time! Ron is a fantastic host. He offered us an upgrade to his brand new cabin with a large covered porch. It was gorgeous. Tastefully decorated & fully equipped with everything we needed. The spring fed grotto was not quite ready for use yet besides the weather was a bit nippy. But Ron was working hard on getting it ready for the long weekend. We went to see it & can hardly wait to come back in warmer weather to use the lovely swimming hole. Thanks again, Ron! Lois, Mark, Maggie & Tillie

This property was amazing!!! Better than I expected!! Dogs aren’t allowed on the furniture but so nice that they’re allowed! We loved the short walk down to the creek. It felt so secluded all weekend. The cabin was packed full of anything and everything you’d need! Can’t say enough good things about it, we’ll definitely be back!
