The cabin was a little smaller than we would have preferred, that was understandable, considering the age of the property It was very hot in Twain Harte as advertised the property did not have AC but several fans to move around the air. But that did not work very well since it did not cool down at night. The location was great and as advertised

Our first time booking a cabin, it was perfect for our large family. Beautiful layout and wrap around deck. We were able to barbecue and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. 10/10 recommend, thank you for your hospitality!

We came to the cabin to celebrate my adult son's birthday and it was a great experience. The host was very communicative and accommodating. This is the second time we have stayed at the cabin. It is a nice home in a quiet neighborhood, and one of our favorite features is the deck. We saw deer up close and enjoyed the views. Communication with the host was great as well. He had some questions based on things the neighbors reported, but we texted back and forth and the host was very polite and respectful. It is important to note that the neighbors do seem to be a bit on the nosy side. No issues at all with the cabin. There is plenty of room to hang out and sleep, a nice kitchen to cook in, and just a great atmosphere overall. I recommend this for families and groups of friends to enjoy mountain ambiance and relaxation.

We have stayed here 2 years in the row with 3 adults and 3 kids between 4-8. I really like how casual this cabin feels. Don't have to stress about the kids being kids. We will be coming back next year as well! Great location and stocked with everything you need. Plenty of space to be together or take a break/spread out. Nice back deck to eat al fresco. Lake Membership is crucial in the summer months. Owners are very caring, responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall, a really good, affordable choice!

If you are looking for a beautiful cozy cabin, I would highly recommend staying at Funcabin Rental. It is a spacious cozy and welcoming cabin, with lots of parking space. Host was amazing, responds promplty to all messages. Check in was quick and easy. Cabin was clean and well maintained. We were lucky to see deer roaming in the front and back of the cabin. You will have no regrets renting this cabin. We cant wait to book again.

We seven senior adults enjoyed our week at Twain Harte. The difficulty of one bathroom being in the basement was minor. Because of unseasonably hot weather air conditioning would have been nice. The cabin was immaculately, clean and ready for us when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake and the delightful town of Twain Harte.

Upon entry we were impressed with how clean the cabin was. The carpets, floors etc were very taken care of, no ick factor that typically comes with a vacation place. Plenty of space and beds to accommodate a larger group. Only one indoor bathroom unfortunately but in the summer months the basement/outdoor bathroom would be fine. We would certainly stay again.

We had a great weekend at the cabin! Craig was awesome keeping us updated with weather conditions and was very helpful with any questions I had throughout the trip. The only downside to our trip was all of us sharing one bathroom (we had to go outside to access the extra bathroom and it was flooded from the storm) other than that everything was wonderful!! We would definitely recommend this cabin & the owners to anyone!!

Up close Deer, squirrel, birds, trees, the whole nine! Loved the sounds, and/or silence of the area. Cabin has tons of seating in and out. Plenty of beds, lots of kitchenware, really close to town. Climate control keeps warm/hot, lots of fans too. Kitchen stays colder than the rest of the cabin. Beds and couches were comfy, showers were descent size and nice to use. Wifi worked well. No complaints.

I enjoyed staying at this quaint cabin. There was plenty of room for our group. The bottle of wine and chocolate were a nice touch. We had to make our own beds and one of the double beds had a twin fitted sheet instead of a full.

We enjoyed our stay in this home because it was convenient to visit with the people we came to Cali to meet. There is plenty of beds and rooms however a bit cluttered.I do not know how well the previous renters cleaned before we got there because it needed more cleaning especially the carpet & vacuum cleaner. Over all for the price point of location I'd recommend this property to others.

Eleven daughters, granddaughter and 1 great grandson, 5 months old, stayed at the house and we took in Pioneer Woman facility up north, then went to Tulsa the next day!! Had a grand time, lots of laughing, playing games and good old fashioned talking!! The house was comfortable, had everything we needed and the mattresses were so comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud!! Thank you so much!!!

We had a great time at the cabin. You have the option to get a cleaning service or clean yourself. If you choose the service you have to do it before the check in. We ended up cleaning ourselves, but it was not a lot of work anyways. The TV had access to services - very much appreciated by my kids :-)

We had a great weekend at the cabin! Craig was awesome keeping us updated with weather conditions and was very helpful with any questions I had throughout the trip. The only downside to our trip was all of us sharing one bathroom (we had to go outside to access the extra bathroom and it was flooded from the storm) other than that everything was wonderful!! We would definitely recommend this cabin & the owners to anyone!!

The cabin was a little smaller than we would have preferred, that was understandable, considering the age of the property It was very hot in Twain Harte as advertised the property did not have AC but several fans to move around the air. But that did not work very well since it did not cool down at night. The location was great and as advertised

We came to the cabin to celebrate my adult son's birthday and it was a great experience. The host was very communicative and accommodating. This is the second time we have stayed at the cabin. It is a nice home in a quiet neighborhood, and one of our favorite features is the deck. We saw deer up close and enjoyed the views. Communication with the host was great as well. He had some questions based on things the neighbors reported, but we texted back and forth and the host was very polite and respectful. It is important to note that the neighbors do seem to be a bit on the nosy side. No issues at all with the cabin. There is plenty of room to hang out and sleep, a nice kitchen to cook in, and just a great atmosphere overall. I recommend this for families and groups of friends to enjoy mountain ambiance and relaxation.

We were traveling with three adults and three kids under the age of seven. We really appreciated that this property felt very easy-going and laid-back. Nothing fussy or precious to worry about with the kids. Great location, very quick, three minute drive to the lake, walk to the park or downtown. It was very hot and although there is no AC in the cabin, there were plenty of fans in each room. It cooled off at night, and we slept with the windows open. The beds were all very comfortable, and the bedding was lightweight and cotton for the summer. There were some toys and books for the kids. We ate outside on the deck most evenings and it was beautiful. The owners are very easy to communicate with and get back to you right away. If you’re looking for simple accommodations in the Twain Harte area at a good price, this is your spot.

We had a great stay at the cabin. It was a lovely neighborhood. With a nice big deck in the backyard I would recommend it for families or anyone that likes to go up to Twain Harte.

From the moment we drove up to this property in beautiful Twain Harte we were absolutely in love! The house is just a dream. We certainly didn't expect it to be so cosy, warm and you really feel the love that has been put into the place. Very spacious with a lovely outside to eat and watch the stars and nature. All the bedrooms had plenty of room with an extra bathroom if needed. The beds are comfortable and clean and you fall asleep to the sounds of crickets and frogs outside. We felt like we were in a film! Our host was responsive from the start, offering advice and left us a gift and card which was so thoughtful. Plenty of kitchen and cleaning equipment, it really was a home from home. And all for such a cheap price. Our only downfall was not being able to stay there for much longer. I will be recommending it over and over for sure and we will most certainly come back. Thankyou for everything. In my top 5 of places we have stayed in around the world. And that is many places...

Cabin was exactly as expected. Perfect walking location between town and lake. Just of note there is an addition fee to have the house cleaned that is not included at booking otherwise you are expected to do all the cleaning (including bathrooms) yourself.
