My husband and I had an amazingly relaxing time here for our 21st anniversary. The kayaks were fun, the hot tub was amazing and the couch and bed were so comfy! We enjoyed sitting out by the grill listening to music while cooking our steaks. When we arrived the ambiance was amazing. We arrived late and the lights were dim with old jazz love songs playing in the background. It was a much needed escape. Thank you for shairng your house.

Was very surprised at how nice and well appointed the cabin was. Enjoyed the outside dining and fire pit. Hot tub was just right. Lot of room and comfortable bed and furnishings.

We arrived to music playing, heater was on, and all the lights were on for us because the host knew we would arrive after dark. The cabin looked fairly new, or recently updated, and very clean. Outdoor area and hot tub was perfect. Its nestled in the woods with lots of privacy. Repeat customer for sure!

My wife and I just returned from a great stay in a beautiful cabin in the woods north of Hochatown named Dawn's Early Peak. This property was incredible with everything we needed to enjoy a stay in the woods away from the hustle and bustle of the early summer crowds around Beavers Bend SP. The views and the setting were great and the property offered everything we needed for evenings after days spent hiking, kayaking, and fishing - a great kitchen, game room with foosball and air hockey, a hot tub, an outdoor TV, wifi, a beautiful balcony overlooking a pond with a fountain, and a very comfortable king-size bed. Access to the Mountain Fork River is a short walk away and the setting is quiet and peaceful. Jody and Joe - thank you for making your beautiful cabin available to those of us who can only visit this little slice of heaven from time to time. We are already discussing coming back up in the fall!

Beautiful cabin me and the hub’s really enjoyed ourselves. Loved sitting by fire pit listening to the water from the pond. We would have loved to ride the paddle boat but they were dirty and full of water so they were to heavy to flip over to empty them out but we still had an awesome time. We will definitely do it again.

It was an amazing cabin. Perfect for a wonderful weekend getaway. The stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook all your meals to snuggling on the couch watching tv and enjoying the fireplace. And for more fun there’s the hot tub to relax in listening to the fountain in the water. Definitely will be coming back.

My wife and I recently went on a weekend retreat to Dawn’s Early Peak cabin, and I must say, it was absolutely breathtaking! The cabin itself was so gorgeous and well-maintained it felt like a luxurious home away from home. And let me tell you, waking up to that stunning front pond scenery was like stepping right into a movie scene. It was indeed a magical experience and one that I will never forget.

We arrived a little late and when we walked in it was so nice, it smelled clean there was soft music playing. The home was so welcoming, the bed was so comfortable, and the hot tub was clean. I loved everything about it, would have just moved in if i could the kitchen had everything you need to cook, i made quit a few meals, even cinnamon rolls. There was a grill outside that my husband used a few times the game room was fun aswell. I hadn't realized there was an Alexa/speaker or whatever they're called, upstairs until it spoke and told us to not forget to throw away the trash scared me a bit, but i really enjoyed the stay

Dawn’s Early Peak was the perfect retreat to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was quiet and offered plenty of privacy. All the rooms were extremely spacious. The house and deck were immaculately clean. It was the best stocked rental we’ve ever stayed in. The amenities were outstanding, and the entire rental felt high end while still being cozy and comfortable. You will not be disappointed booking this property!

My husband and I came to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and we’re SO IMPRESSED!!! This place was amazing…my husband kept saying wow…how much was this?? But it was not bad in price and would gladly pay this again. Communication was great with the owner and we had everything we needed. Cleanliness was the best I’ve EVER experienced and the atmosphere was awesome from the time we stepped thru the door…music was playing and it smelled fresh; very inviting!! Our favorite place was the upper patio deck…so relaxing and i felt a world away. The ONLY drawback might be the location but we knew it was going to be a little drive back to Hochatown. Didn’t bother us at all…we for sure plan to come back to Rivers Bluff in the future!

Staying at Dawn’s Early Peak Cabin was a wonderful experience, perfect for relaxation. We enjoyed the serene ambiance and took the opportunity to go kayaking down the nearby river, which added to the adventure. The cabin is superb, spotless, and impeccably maintained. We stayed at another cabin on the same property and enjoyed it so much that we came back for my wife’s birthday. Dawn early peak was still under construction last time we where here but it looked so cool we had to come back. Loved the upper deck and all the windows in the bedroom. Almost like sleeping under the stars. Jody is such a great host and pays attention to every detail in his cabins. We have decided to keep returning until we stay in all of them.

Friends in highschool, we started dating in college, and have been married and inseperable for 25 years. We live and work in the madhouse that is the dfw metroplex. Every anniversary we come to the area seeking some peace and some uninterrupted time together. The cabin was a small, intimate, and cozy slice of the exact heaven we came looking for. Mountains, trees, and nothing but time to hang out together. Be it at the cabin, which was well appointed for that, or roaming around the region. We spent hours in the hot tub on the second floor balcony listening to early morning wildlife or lounging in the deck furniture up there. If not out doing something, lounging upstairs, or having our meals in multiple locations set up for that we were lounging together watching our favorite shows/movies in the evenings on the very comfy couches in the living room. The 6 days we spent at the cabin was blissful to say the least. Not a single stressful thing in life.

We had the most amazing trip! The house is beautifully decorated and located in a great spot. My favorite part of the house was the upstairs deck. We sat out there and had coffee and just enjoyed the sounds of the water. We will definitely be returning in the future!

First time for my wife and i to rent a cabin near broken bow. We chose Dawn's Early Peak because we both agreed it was the perfect size for just the two of us. Check in was very easy and the driven directions were very easy to follow. Upon arrival and getting into cabin we were amazed how peaceful everything was and a warm cozy welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave so soon. We will definitely visit again soon!!

We arrived to music playing, heater was on, and all the lights were on for us because the host knew we would arrive after dark. The cabin looked fairly new, or recently updated, and very clean. Outdoor area and hot tub was perfect. Its nestled in the woods with lots of privacy. Repeat customer for sure!

We have stayed with Jody in the Just the Two of Us cabin and although it was very nice we enjoyed dawn’s Early Peak and liked the cabin even more. Both times we stayed Jody has always had everything ready for our late arrival. We ha absolutely no issues during our stay. Thank you, Jody!

This was just what my wife and I needed to celebrate our anniversary. The location was perfect. The property was super clean and updated. In my mind I was thinking that we would be roughing it at a cabin, but this was more on the luxury side as we didn’t wear our shoes inside as if we were in our own home. The best part was that the owner, Jody was so accommodating and was quick to make sure our anniversary weekend was one to remember. We will definitely be back, and as great of a time my wife and I had alone, we may bring our kiddos next time.

Dawn’s Early Peak did not disappoint. They were lacking for nothing. Clean, neat, comfortable, beautiful and fun! The best was amazing assistance from Jody the host. We were arriving late around 1 am. GPS turned us too early and we went up into a mountain road and we called and he answered!!! Directed us back and we made it to the house at 1:30 am to lights and Christmas tree on with Christmas music playing. So welcoming and the few days we were there were perfect.

First time for my wife and i to rent a cabin near broken bow. We chose Dawn's Early Peak because we both agreed it was the perfect size for just the two of us. Check in was very easy and the driven directions were very easy to follow. Upon arrival and getting into cabin we were amazed how peaceful everything was and a warm cozy welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave so soon. We will definitely visit again soon!!

My husband and I came to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and we’re SO IMPRESSED!!! This place was amazing…my husband kept saying wow…how much was this?? But it was not bad in price and would gladly pay this again. Communication was great with the owner and we had everything we needed. Cleanliness was the best I’ve EVER experienced and the atmosphere was awesome from the time we stepped thru the door…music was playing and it smelled fresh; very inviting!! Our favorite place was the upper patio deck…so relaxing and i felt a world away. The ONLY drawback might be the location but we knew it was going to be a little drive back to Hochatown. Didn’t bother us at all…we for sure plan to come back to Rivers Bluff in the future!

We had such a wonderful getaway weekend! This was our second trip to Rivers Bluff Cabins and it once again surpassed all of our expectations! Jody is a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be back!

The property was amazing! It was beautifully decorated and was equipped with all of the amenities that you could ask for. The owners were quick to respond to our questions and provided detailed information about the cabin. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

This cabin was the perfect getaway spot for a weekend away from the kiddos. It is a little bit of a drive into Hochatown, but being a bit more spread out from the other cabins was totally worth it. The cabin was very clean, equipped with what we needed, and comfortable. As an added bonus, we had no issues with streaming shows on the living room TV during our down time. We sadly didn't get to enjoy the outdoor upper deck with a constant drizzle making things soaked, but would definitely stay here again.

Wanted to do something for my wife and decided to book here. Just wanted to get away for a bit and unwind. Honestly felt like we were at home. Very cozy and quiet. I'm very picky when it comes to places to stay but this place was really amazing. Should have booked a longer stay. Will definitely book again or check out their other cabins.

My wife and I just returned from a great stay in a beautiful cabin in the woods north of Hochatown named Dawn's Early Peak. This property was incredible with everything we needed to enjoy a stay in the woods away from the hustle and bustle of the early summer crowds around Beavers Bend SP. The views and the setting were great and the property offered everything we needed for evenings after days spent hiking, kayaking, and fishing - a great kitchen, game room with foosball and air hockey, a hot tub, an outdoor TV, wifi, a beautiful balcony overlooking a pond with a fountain, and a very comfortable king-size bed. Access to the Mountain Fork River is a short walk away and the setting is quiet and peaceful. Jody and Joe - thank you for making your beautiful cabin available to those of us who can only visit this little slice of heaven from time to time. We are already discussing coming back up in the fall!

This cabin has everything you need. Just bring your clothes and food. It’s beautiful as well as clean too. My husband and I really enjoyed the upper deck with a hot tub. It’s a little far from restaurants and stores so make sure you bring groceries with you but we didn’t mind. We enjoyed cooking on the grill.

The cabin was absolutely amazing and just what we needed to get away from our busy lives. The location was perfect and being close to the river was definitely a plus. The host was wonderful and gave plenty of instruction for checkin/checkout and extra information. We'd love to book again in the future.
