Fantastic house...this may be the best house we have ever rented for a vacation. It fit our family of 14 (8 adults and 6 children aged 2-5) perfectly. The views are amazing. A nor'easter came through early in the week, and it was so nice to watch the huge waves crashing on the rocks in the comfort of the home and on the covered porch. We enjoyed the fire pit throughout our stay as well as the surrounding area. We had an issue with the fireplace on arrival, but Desni worked on it until it was resolved. Everything about the interior of the house is great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Hopefully we can return!

What a view and beautiful home! Plenty of space for our large family. Enjoyed the game room with pool & air hockey, Great open spaces & dining to accommodate our large family for Easter dinner. Can say enough, Sunrises/sunsets spectacular!!

Our second time here and the family (two families, 4 kids and grandparents) had a great time. So much room in the house, such perfect views, great pool and fire pit, walking to town and beach.

Gorgeous views.........comfortable bedding.........well equipped kitchen...nice pool......perfect sunrise views.....walking distance to town.Once the problem with the air conditioning was corrected, the indoor rooms were comfortable.Check in was easy.

The house was spectacular! We celebrated with family for an intimate wedding and milestone birthday. There was space for all to enjoy - young and old(er) - and all of the sleeping areas were convenient but also afforded each their privacy. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of room for several cooks in the kitchen.All of the amenities - pool, hot tub, fire area, game room, etc - were as lavish as described and so very much appreciated.Not to be forgotten are the most amazing sunrises and views from every room! Simply Spectacular. We loved it and look forward to our anniversary there and time to make more memories with our family.

We had such a memorable weekend staying at Steve and Desni’s home! We had our newly blended family under one roof to celebrate our marriage. The entire group consisted of 5 couples and 5 children( ages 18 months-14 years old!) There was a beautiful room for everyone! King sized beds with private baths. We had fun hanging out and ordered pizza from Anthony’s on Friday night, had Nancy’s Catering provide our “rehearsal dinner” on Saturday. We utilized all floors, the pool, the jacuzzi and game room! Our actual wedding took place at the York Golf and Tennis Club.We had a make up artist come in to the home and loved all the natural light! We highly recommend renting this property! So perfect for large groups/family.

The kitchen was perfect for our family cooking competition and the downstairs gaming area was enjoyed by all. The view was amazing not only during the day but also in the evenings at the firepit as we watched the sunset. We had 8 adults and 4 kids under 8 all rated your home a 10!

Fabulous weekend spent at this wonderful home! The location, the amenities and the spectacular views!!! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway. Walk to the beach, walk to the lighthouse or just stay put, cook a meal in the extremely spacious kitchen and catchup around the amazing firepit, all while you enjoy the sound of the ocean. The sunrises & sunsets were amazing.We will very likely head back very soon! Cheers from Canada!

The house is beautiful with absolutely amazing views. Everything was very clean and fully stocked with everything needed. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook dinner for 10. The rooms and bathrooms in the house are much larger than they appear in the photos. We had plenty of space for teens, tweens, adults and seniors to all have their own space. The decks have fabulous views and ample furniture. The hot tub was a great bonus. The kids and even adults loved climbing on the rocks below. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in dog area as well as the prime location within walking distance to the town of York Beach and the Nubble Lighthouse. We visited lots of local areas Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Kittery, Portsmouth, Portland and even to Sunday River for some Spring skiiing. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby and overall just a beautiful area for hiking, walking or exploring by car. We have rented a few homes for Spring Break and this was one of favorite houses and locations to visit and make memories with our family.

Our family stayed at Steve and Desni’s place in York for a week this summer. The home was exactly as described and the pictures didn’t do justice to the views and the thoughtful layout of this home. The three primary bedrooms on the second floor share a sitting area with coffee station, laundry and mini fridge. There is also a balcony. It was a perfect retreat for the 3 couples to start their day away from the rush of teens and kids in our family. The first floor bedroom was perfect for the guest who brought his dog. On the topic of pets, the home had a great fenced side yard so we never worried about him getting lost. It is rare to have a house of this caliber that accepts pets, and even more rare to have a house that accepts pets be as clean as this one was! You would never know he was there. The location of the house is perfect - a short walk to the action of Short Sands Beach or a longer walk to Long Sands Beach. We enjoyed both places throughout our stay, in addition to side trips up and down the stunning Maine coast. I’d highly recommend this home for families or groups of families.

Upon arrival, the mood is set for the week. Amazing views, large rooms, lots of outdoor seating and firewood at the fire pit, plenty of bath and pool towels, and first day provisions of soap and shampoo are included as well. There was also plenty of paper towels, toilet paper and even detergent for laundry and dishwashing. Everyone in my family of 15 had an amazing time in York Beach at this beautifully located home.

Thank you Desni & Steve. This was our second stay at Paradise In York and the name remains accurate. The area, the coast, the property, the house - are awesome. We loved cooking and communing in the open kitchen/dining area, playing music by the fire, walking the coast and beach, etc. Bedrooms/baths were all great, clean and well supplied. The only minor comment is that several guests found their beds a bit soft. All in all we all loved it and highly recommend your place to folks looking to taste a nice slice of coastal Maine. We were looking for an extended weekend getaway to spend quality time together cooking, drinking some wine and enjoying lovely surroundings. This house fully lived up to ( and indeed exceeded...) its end of the bargain. What a great place for all of the above. One additional thing that we had not fully appreciated from the pictures in the profile is how spacious the rooms are. We expected space of course, but the bedrooms and common areas are actually very generously proportioned. The kitchen was perfect for group preparations and dining together, and the amenities are all in great shape and ready for use. We will definitely try for an even longer stay next time.

We rented this home for a long weekend with our family of 14 ranging in age from 1-60. This home had everything we could possibly need. Breathtaking views from every window, cleanliness throughout, any kitchen item we looked for, they had & lots of thoughtful extras throughout the home. We rent upscale family vacation homes around the US every year and this was one of our favorites and wouldn’t hesitate to rent here again. Thank you!

This property was stunning. From the many, many windows looking onto the water crashing on the rocks below to the well appointed bedrooms, baths and kitchen, everything was top notch. I would say that the listing didnt specify everything that was provided from paper goods (tp, paper towels, garbage bags) to shampoo, conditioner and soap and all of that was a delightful surprise. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect for a large group. Stunning views, massive bedrooms, so many bathrooms! Loved this property. Perfect for a winter stay since there’s so much space you don’t need to go out too much. Only problem was the firewood isn’t covered, so when it rained on Friday we couldn’t use the fire pit Saturday, so move some aside if you see rain in your forecast!

The house was amazing in so many ways. It was large enough for a big family gathering; there were a multitude of places to find a quiet place if needed; the outdoor seating options were varied; the kitchen was well stocked and plenty of seating for everyone; the ADA bedroom makes it so much easier with elderly members; the location to beaches and the Nubble lighthouse were just a short walk, etc etc! We had a fabulous time and super comfortable stay and would highly recommend this property.

The property was large enough for all couples to have their own bedroom with a bathroom which made it comfortable for everyone. The property was close to downtown (about a mile walk) which was enjoyable for us to not have to drive. The outdoor views and amenities were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Upon arrival, the mood is set for the week. Amazing views, large rooms, lots of outdoor seating and firewood at the fire pit, plenty of bath and pool towels, and first day provisions of soap and shampoo are included as well. There was also plenty of paper towels, toilet paper and even detergent for laundry and dishwashing. Everyone in my family of 15 had an amazing time in York Beach at this beautifully located home.

Thank you Desni & Steve. This was our second stay at Paradise In York and the name remains accurate. The area, the coast, the property, the house - are awesome. We loved cooking and communing in the open kitchen/dining area, playing music by the fire, walking the coast and beach, etc. Bedrooms/baths were all great, clean and well supplied. The only minor comment is that several guests found their beds a bit soft. All in all we all loved it and highly recommend your place to folks looking to taste a nice slice of coastal Maine. The house was spectacular! We celebrated with family for an intimate wedding and milestone birthday. There was space for all to enjoy - young and old(er) - and all of the sleeping areas were convenient but also afforded each their privacy. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of room for several cooks in the kitchen.All of the amenities - pool, hot tub, fire area, game room, etc - were as lavish as described and so very much appreciated.Not to be forgotten are the most amazing sunrises and views from every room! Simply Spectacular. We loved it and look forward to our anniversary there and time to make more memories with our family.

This property was stunning. From the many, many windows looking onto the water crashing on the rocks below to the well appointed bedrooms, baths and kitchen, everything was top notch. I would say that the listing didnt specify everything that was provided from paper goods (tp, paper towels, garbage bags) to shampoo, conditioner and soap and all of that was a delightful surprise. We had a wonderful time.

We celebrated my 50th birthday with a ladies weekend getaway. This house was fantastic. The views were amazing. There was a ton of room for everyone to spread out. We did a lot of cooking, and there were plenty of kitchen amenities that made it very easy for all of us. Would definitely recommend this house.

The house is beautiful with absolutely amazing views. Everything was very clean and fully stocked with everything needed. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook dinner for 10. The rooms and bathrooms in the house are much larger than they appear in the photos. We had plenty of space for teens, tweens, adults and seniors to all have their own space. The decks have fabulous views and ample furniture. The hot tub was a great bonus. The kids and even adults loved climbing on the rocks below. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in dog area as well as the prime location within walking distance to the town of York Beach and the Nubble Lighthouse. We visited lots of local areas Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Kittery, Portsmouth, Portland and even to Sunday River for some Spring skiiing. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby and overall just a beautiful area for hiking, walking or exploring by car. We have rented a few homes for Spring Break and this was one of favorite houses and locations to visit and make memories with our family.

Fantastic house...this may be the best house we have ever rented for a vacation. It fit our family of 14 (8 adults and 6 children aged 2-5) perfectly. The views are amazing. A nor'easter came through early in the week, and it was so nice to watch the huge waves crashing on the rocks in the comfort of the home and on the covered porch. We enjoyed the fire pit throughout our stay as well as the surrounding area. We had an issue with the fireplace on arrival, but Desni worked on it until it was resolved. Everything about the interior of the house is great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Hopefully we can return!

The house absolutely blew us away as we entered for the first time, it’s even better and bigger in person!! And the views actually took our breath away. We had a couple minor issues but hosts were very easy to communicate with and resolve immediately. We had our wedding here and hosted about half our guests at the house and everyone fell in love with it. It made for the perfect backdrop for our big day(s). Hosts were also very helpful leading up to our stay with all of our questions and had helpful suggestions. Wish we could come back immediately!

It was large enough for a big family gathering; there were a multitude of places to find a quiet place if needed; the outdoor seating options were varied; the kitchen was well stocked and plenty of seating for everyone; the ADA bedroom makes it so much easier with elderly members; the location to beaches and the Nubble lighthouse were just a short walk, etc etc! We had a fabulous time and super comfortable stay and would highly recommend this property.

Our family stayed at Steve and Desni’s place in York for a week this summer. The home was exactly as described and the pictures didn’t do justice to the views and the thoughtful layout of this home. The three primary bedrooms on the second floor share a sitting area with coffee station, laundry and mini fridge. There is also a balcony. It was a perfect retreat for the 3 couples to start their day away from the rush of teens and kids in our family. The first floor bedroom was perfect for the guest who brought his dog. On the topic of pets, the home had a great fenced side yard so we never worried about him getting lost. It is rare to have a house of this caliber that accepts pets, and even more rare to have a house that accepts pets be as clean as this one was! You would never know he was there. The location of the house is perfect - a short walk to the action of Short Sands Beach or a longer walk to Long Sands Beach. We enjoyed both places throughout our stay, in addition to side trips up and down the stunning Maine coast. I’d highly recommend this home for families or groups of families.

We were looking for an extended weekend getaway to spend quality time together cooking, drinking some wine and enjoying lovely surroundings. This house fully lived up to ( and indeed exceeded...) its end of the bargain. What a great place for all of the above. One additional thing that we had not fully appreciated from the pictures in the profile is how spacious the rooms are. We expected space of course, but the bedrooms and common areas are actually very generously proportioned. The kitchen was perfect for group preparations and dining together, and the amenities are all in great shape and ready for use. We will definitely try for an even longer stay next time.

This house was the perfect spot for our friends gathering. The views are breathtaking! The amount of space was incredible! The house was big enough to not feel cramped and if you needed space from others you were able to find it in a heartbeat. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. Very impressed with the amount of items offered in the kitchen as well. From pots, strainers, wine key, even different flavored tea and coffee! This house is going to be a top choice for us from now on. Thanks for such a pleasant experience.

The kitchen was perfect for our family cooking competition and the downstairs gaming area was enjoyed by all. The view was amazing not only during the day but also in the evenings at the firepit as we watched the sunset. We had 8 adults and 4 kids under 8 all rated your home a 10!

Fabulous weekend spent at this wonderful home! The location, the amenities and the spectacular views!!! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in dog area as well as the prime location within walking distance to the town of York Beach and the Nubble Lighthouse. We visited lots of local areas Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Kittery, Portsmouth, Portland and even to Sunday River for some Spring skiiing. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby and overall just a beautiful area for hiking, walking or exploring by car. We have rented a few homes for Spring Break and this was one of favorite houses and locations to visit and make memories with our family.
The house is beautiful with absolutely amazing views. Everything was very clean and fully stocked with everything needed. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook dinner for 10. The rooms and bathrooms in the house are much larger than they appear in the photos. We had plenty of space for teens, tweens, adults and seniors to all have their own space. The decks have fabulous views and ample furniture. The hot tub was a great bonus. The kids and even adults loved climbing on the rocks below. This property is extremely beautiful! The views are incredible! It was a great place for a large group of people. Plenty of sleeping areas and lots of bathrooms. Everyone was very comfortable! The kitchen was well equipped! It was located so we could easily get to the community and other sites!

Wonderful property. Beautiful home right on the ocean. Our family enjoyed the pool, game room, hot tub and the stunning views. The hosts provided a lot of helpful information about the house itself and things to do and see in the surrounding area. They made the stay easy and enjoyable.

This is an amazing home. The views from so many of the rooms are incredible, better than the photos. The outdoor amenities were favorites and with more fantastic views! It was a short walk to beach and town. The house was very clean, comfortable beds and stocked with everything we needed. The host was very responsive to any questions. It was a really comfortable home for our large family group of four generations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would love to return!

Truly a paradise on the rocks!This house was absolutely amazing. The views are consistently beautiful, whether you're watching a dramatic storm roll in or enjoying a bright, sunny day. Inside, the house is incredibly well-stocked with everything you could possibly imagine or need. There is plenty of seating for large group meals, and the layout offers so many comfortable spaces to relax and pass the time. We had an unforgettable stay and can’t recommend this place enough!

Stunning property with breathtaking views of the water and amazing location about a 15 minute walk to shops/ downtown York. The beds were also super comfortable and the hot tub was glorious!!!!!

Perfect location for spending time with family. Game room/movies downstairs and large open space on main floor for dining/relaxing (by the fire), all with amazing views. Also bedroom suites throughout with unique and beautiful views. Recommend the top floor east facing suite personally. So close to home for us but still felt like a big vacation!
