We were a group of UF alumni coming back for a football game and this was a great house. The location was perfect- close to Publix, midtown, and campus. The snacks and coffee were a nice touch and the kitchen was well-outfitted with enough cups and dishes for such a large group. The lock was tricky sometimes and the futons were not very comfortable but we were able to work it out. The host was very responsive and flexible with check in.

House is very updated. Bathrooms are great. The house is very well equipped for cooking dinners with everything you could want in a kitchen. Super enjoyed by everyone including our Pup. Thanks for the great experience! Will book again!

Very clean and wonderful updates. I would agree the motion sensing lights switches are a bit too much...especially at night when utilizing bathroom and light turns on to awaken spouse in same room. Washer and dryer a BIG plus and the televisions are great in the bedrooms to keep kids bust prior to bed.

Very nice place. Close to UF. Very clean. Kitchen newly renovated but was very sparsely equipped (eg no wine glasses, minimal pots and utensils). Nice touches such as snack basket in kitchen, toothbrushes and shampoo/conditioner/soaps in bathroom.

The newly renovated home was beautiful. Clean, lots of open space and plenty of room to sleep 8 or more. The kitchen could have been equipped better with some of the basic cooking necessities but contained all the major and even small appliances. Great location to UF, supermarket, and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of space, great location. The kitchen could use more kitchen tools, bakeware, bowls, etc. The beds could use thicker comforters. All in all, a beautiful home with plenty of space for a large gathering.

Rented the property for my class reunion from UF and also with friends for a Gator game weekend. Home was comfortable, clean, and well stocked with supplies. We had a great time staying at the home. Would recommend.

Overall we had a good experience at this property. The location is great; it is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood just down the street from the UF campus. The house is laid out well with ample space -- 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms -- for a larger family or group. House seems updated. The negative was the faint stench of smoke throughout. They had what looked like an air purifier in the living room. My son's allergies were amplified because of the smoke smell. I reached out to the manager who rapidly responded, apologizing and acknowledging that a previous guest had smoked in the property the year prior. He had a cleaning service before our arrival but the underlying faint smell was still there. They should probably change out the curtains and furniture, that would definitely help. I won't be staying there again for this reason. Otherwise, it's a good size in an ideal location.

We specifically picked this home due to the location to the college and speifically the stadium. The property is super clean and well maintained with plenty of room fo families and friends. Really enjoyed the neiborhood and the backyard. We will stay here again soon.

It was like stepping into an Island Resort - very comfortable, quiet and conveniently located. Our Family of six really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend all to “Check-IN” However, discovering severely stained bed sheets at bedtime and mattress covers when we pulled off the sheets was discustingly Gross! Our rating for cleanliness would have been a 5 if not for this!

I never write reviews but after messaging the host after leaving the property 1 day early due to all the issues and host not responding to me, I decided to write this review. We chose this home based on the previous reviews. However, I am not sure what has happened since I had booked this property. I almost feel that no one has gone by to check on the property. We rented it for 4 nights. We checked in at 10 pm to find there was no bath soap and had to run out and get it. I have never stayed at a Vrbo that did not have bath soap. Then we found that one bathroom had plumbing problems and the house was also dirty and had an awful musty smell. We were exhausted from starting move-in all day for 2 kids and when I contacted the host, he responded that he didn't know what I was complaining about. It was really rude. Next morning he told me a plumber would be coming by to check plumbing issue. We encountered so many issues at this home.These are just some I messaged the host about yesterday, after checking out a day early and got no response. I also included pics to show him the issues. I would have appreciated knowing this as I would have never rented the home. The home smells musty, the a/c is so old and makes so much noise, the nest raises the temp to 79 in the middle of the night, we killed 3 roaches and there were more, tons of dead bugs, walls were dirty, dining table had stained placemats and chairs, filthy appliances. I do not recommend this home.

We enjoyed the property very much. Great location. The house was very clean and updated. It was the perfect size in square footage. That being said, additional seating would have been most helpful for our group. We brought additional coffee cups, utensils and folding chairs based on prior reviews.

The house was fantastic!! We had 8 family members from ages 27-85. Everyone slept comfortably and there was plenty of room to gather and talk and catch up with each other. We enjoyed the snacks that were left and all the amenities were new and modern. We even had a barbecue on the back deck. Perfect house for graduation or football games!! We all enjoyed ourselves and appreciated being there!!

We recently stayed in Gainesville for my daughter's graduation from UF medical school. There were 7 family members who stayed at the house. The house is big enough so that we (couples) all had separate bedrooms. There was a large common area for us to socialize yet enough room in the bedrooms for quiet time. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet and it is convenient to the UF campus. We enjoyed our stay and if we are ever back in Gainesville we would love to stay at this house.
We recently stayed in Gainesville for my daughter's graduation from UF medical school. There were 7 family members who stayed at the house. Wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable, roomy and lots of parking. Property manager was readily available for any questions we had. Lots of extras, snack basket, soap, tooth brushes, complimentary shampoo, etc. Nice TVs in living room and bedrooms. We were in town for an event and will definitely stay hete again. Loved it!!!

We were a group of UF alumni coming back for a football game and this was a great house. The location was perfect- close to Publix, midtown, and campus. Overall very comfortable property. Property manager was great and helped make sure I was comfortable during my stay. Very responsive and accommodating. Neighborhood was beautiful and close to everything.

I never write reviews but after messaging the host after leaving the property 1 day early due to all the issues and host not responding to me, I decided to write this review. We chose this home based on the previous reviews. However, I am not sure what has happened since I had booked this property. I almost feel that no one has gone by to check on the property. We rented it for 4 nights. We checked in at 10 pm to find there was no bath soap and had to run out and get it. I have never stayed at a Vrbo that did not have bath soap. Then we found that one bathroom had plumbing problems and the house was also dirty and had an awful musty smell. We were exhausted from starting move-in all day for 2 kids and when I contacted the host, he responded that he didn't know what I was complaining about. It was really rude. Next morning he told me a plumber would be coming by to check plumbing issue. We encountered so many issues at this home.These are just some I messaged the host about yesterday, after checking out a day early and got no response. I also included pics to show him the issues. I would have appreciated knowing this as I would have never rented the home. The home smells musty, the a/c is so old and makes so much noise, the nest raises the temp to 79 in the middle of the night, we killed 3 roaches and there were more, tons of dead bugs, walls were dirty, dining table had stained placemats and chairs, filthy appliances. I do not recommend this home.

Size of house and location was great. Not sure when the house was checked before we got in but there was some burrrowing creature in the vault ceiling dropping wood chips on the family room couch. Also had a hard time talking with someone about checkout.

We specifically picked this home due to the location to the college and speifically the stadium. The property is super clean and well maintained with plenty of room fo families and friends. Really enjoyed the neiborhood and the backyard. We will stay here again soon.

UF is a short walk away, Publix is close. Nice grass yard for pups — not fenced in, though, so bring your leash. We’d stay here again.

The newly renovated home was beautiful. Clean, lots of open space and plenty of room to sleep 8 or more. The kitchen could have been equipped better with some of the basic cooking necessities but contained all the major and even small appliances. Great location to UF, supermarket, and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great house, excellent location, items in the home are a bit beat up. Kitchen items very used, faucets needed updates, showers leaked water on to floors. Overall a great house for what it is, but some updates and better towels couldn't hurt. The snacks and water bottles were a very pleasant surprise! Communications were super easy and very prompt.

The house was conveniently located near all of Gainesville. The neighborhood was quiet- the house was advertised as newly renovated. I don't believe the renovations warrant the price asked. The kitchen was not equipped with solid, clean flatware or pots.

Wonderful weekend for my child’s white coat ceremony at UF. Location ideal. Comfortable beds / comfortable den with room to visit with family. Yard was great for our dachshund. Highly recommend for traveling with family and small dog. Would definitely stay here again.

HelloI want to start by saying I rent through VRBO on a weekly basis.Charging me 75 for early arrival was a red flag to me but hey we are all here to make money right? upon arrival the house looks to be as seen online...After walking around and seeing what was what, I noticed how unclean and under kept the whole house was. From that point things only go downhill....-Went to wash our items from travel and the washer is extremely unbalanced on every load we have tried-Furniture is stained and not appealing: couches, chairs, etc.-Cobwebs all around everywhere you look-Baseboards were filthy bed linens had hair in them as if they were never washed-Lost a sock and upon looking under the bed wasn't about to to stick my hand under it.-Wifi that was sent in email is not correct-Floors are very rough and trip hazards in many places-Toilet in master bathroom loosevery unsatisfied to say the least and if i was to be staying any longer i would have left ...all in all this was supposed to be newly remodeled and the nicest thing i see as a contractor that might be new is kitchen, its a total disappointment.
