Stayed 6 nights

Was a clean apartment close to the boardwalk like it was stated. There was no air conditioning. Doorways were small, about 6' 4" being 6'6" was a problem. Was awakened first morning to the fire alarm. After removing the batteries and continued ducking the doorways the next few days, were pleasant. Electrical outlets and light switches were awkward.

Stayed 4 nights

The property is a two bed one bath bottom apartment conveniently located but is very noisy as almost all foot traffic goes past bedroom window and all movement above is heard. It’s only a common area for the grill, laundry, and back seating leaving guests to purchase their own propane and facilities may not be available at all times.

This is an older property that has been chopped up into various apartments. Layout is a little crazy in that you enter from the rear into a bedroom. The two bedrooms adjoin and one can only be entered by going through the bathroom or the other bedroom. We only stayed one night and did not use the kitchen but the layout there also seemed dysfunctional.

We were very disappointed in this Vrbo. More of a converted boarding house. Smelled awful and it was the basement unit with overpowering freshener and disinfectant. Smoke alarm chirped all night the first night. We were expected to get the propane for the fire pit ourselves. Sand and hair in bathtub and on floors. Coffee and a pathetic old spice rack the only amenities. Would not recommend renting from this third party vendor. Have never had trouble with personal hosts who own their property. Contacted the hostess on site who accused me of being unkind when I complained.

The plus for this property is its great location. You can walk to Coos Bay old town shops and restaurants. The unit itself had strange lay out. Cut up rooms and no access to second bedroom without walking through bathroom or other bedroom. Ground floor so dark and musty. I would recommend staying in one of the upstairs units.
