This was a lovely farmhouse with a well-equipped kitchen, charming decor, and thoughtful extras. The beds were very comfortable. The back porch was soooo relaxing. Fun table and connect 4 area in the backyard plus seating area down by the creek. The outdoor shower was lots of fun and easy to use. Just a lovely place to stay!

This was the perfect property for our fun little getaway with our 5 year old granddaughter. We had so much fun & she absolutely loved everything about Live Oak Landing. The 3 tree swings, outdoor games, soaker pool, hot dogs & smores cooked on the firepit, walking in the creek, king bed & outdoor shower in her room, as well as plenty of room to run & play to name just a few. It's also located just around the corner from all the area attractions including Dinosaur Valley State Park. Memories made & we cant wait to return!

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this property is. Our young kids had such a wonderful time playing in the plunge pool, swinging under the gorgeous old trees, and splashing around in the creek. You feel like you’re pretty secluded but are actually just down the street from the town square. The house was also great. The outside shower is a cool feature. Great stay, great host.

We were two couples, so the two ensuite King bedrooms were perfect. The house is adorable with everything you could need for cooking and the property on the river is gorgeous! We enjoyed walking in the area, made a campfire in the fire pit, used the barbeque grill, and played with the games in the lush backyard.There was great seating in the backyard.The area was quiet, but still walking distance to town. The town of Glen Rose is adorable, with cute shops and friendly people. There was live music in town at Massi's. The park on the Paluxy River down the road was a lovely place to walk and obviously a great place for kids to play in the water. We LOVED the outdoor shower! With double shower heads, it was a total bonus, even on the day that it was cooler out. The beds were comfy! We can't say enough about our totally wonderful stay in Glen Rose

This 100 hundred year old home has been perfectly remodeled/modernized. The bathrooms and kitchen are amazing! Every room is amazing. The lot size is huge. My granddaughters didn’t want to leave the property! They especially loved the plunge pool and swings. Great stay!

Everything was great! There was all the amenities needed even down to the simple things for young kids such as colorful plates, bowls, and cups. The outdoor games and activities made it that much better as we spend as much time outdoors as possible. The whole family felt right at home and truly enjoyed the house and the property! Would definitely recommend and stay here again if we make it back to Glenn Rose!

The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms cozy, the kitchen well equipped for a weekend stay. Every nook and cranny decorated intentionally, inside and out. But even more than the necessities, the property was a joy to roam. From the pool, to the fire pit, to the swings under the big tree, to the chairs beside the trickling stream down the hill, there is so much to do without even crossing outside the property lines. And, of course, this place is located a short distance from all the attractions of the area, so when you do get in the car, you don’t have far to go. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed out stay. Will be booking again soon!

Rental as advertised and the hosts were easy to communicate with. It was a great home base for our Dinosaur Valley & Cleburne State Park activities. It was the perfect place for our family of four, with plenty of room for adults and kids. Boys loved the backyard with the fire pit for s'mores and all the outdoor activities. The swings and creek bed were a hit. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and the propane grill outside was easy to use for grilling. Would recommend and definitely stay again next time in the area.

Enjoyed the stay, house was very clean. Unable to turn on back porch lights. Might have been us. Yard needed mowing to me, wife said no big deal to her. We would still recommend and return. Close to downtown, stores and state park attractions. Son and wife loved it too.

We stayed here so we could be close to Dinosaur Valley Park for the Mammoth March. It was a perfect little house sitting on a good sized property. It’s in a neighborhood close to all restaurants in Glen Rose. Both bedrooms have king sized beds and their own bathroom. One bathroom has a connecting outside shower, it was great to use since it was cold outside and the water was hot. The house had everything we needed and it was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

My girlfriends and I travel several times a year for girls weekend trips. This house is one of my all time favorites. Very clean, absolutely adorable, huge yard and extended property, and in such a cute little town. Every one of the business owners are just precious and friendly. This house is perfectly located close to town. We absolutely loved it, and cannot wait to stay again!!

We enjoyed our stay so much ! Our daughter loved the pool ! The house was very clean and just as pictured. I had to contact the host and she was very fast to respond. We also forgot an item and they worked with us to have it mailed back. Location is great ! We would definitely recommend a getaway with family or friends!

This is the cutest house we have ever stayed in. The property is just beautiful. The owners knew exactly What they were doing when planning this house as rental! The cutest details everywhere. As soon as you walk in the front door, you feel at home. The beds are so comfortable. The bedding ❤️ Bathrooms are just amazing! Tub and shower …awesome! I wanted to take this house home with me! Very quiet and relaxing. So close to everything in Glen Rose but with a country feel. We will definitely stay here again!

Located nearby to everything we wanted. This quaint little house was well supplied, spotlessly clean, decorated very well, and very comfy. Nice big yard with a back porch which made watching the deer a plus. All in all, another great experience with VHBO. A very nice stay.

This was such a fun place to stay with our pups! They loved running around the yard and laying on the porch. We cooked all of our meals for the weekend, and the kitchen supplies and appliances in the house were awesome. The rooms were so spacious and the decor was adorable - it was even nicer than it looks online. The 12 minute drive to Dinosaur Valley State Park was a great day excursion.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and there will most definitely be a three peat!! Owners are awesome to deal with, they worked with us in scheduling, and communicate every little detail! The huge yard and the spring in the backyard are definitely a plus with two boys that love outdoors. To say we love this place would be an understatement!!

Even before arriving all of my questions were quickly and graciously answered. The cute country property was clean, comfortable, and relaxing— in a sit on the back porch with some lemonade kind of way. We enjoyed s’mores and the beautiful night sounds in the evening, a great nights sleep on some comfy beds, and breakfast on the porch was accompanied by the beautiful music of birds. Great stay!

Property was everything that was advertised. Clean, easy to access...pool is perfect, the yard is perfect for dogs....quiet....nothing but positive things to say about it.

We enjoyed our stay so much ! Our daughter loved the pool ! The house was very clean and just as pictured. I had to contact the host and she was very fast to respond. We also forgot an item and they worked with us to have it mailed back. Location is great ! We would definitely recommend a getaway with family or friends!

Rental as advertised and the hosts were easy to communicate with. It was a great home base for our Dinosaur Valley & Cleburne State Park activities. It was the perfect place for our family of four, with plenty of room for adults and kids. Boys loved the backyard with the fire pit for s'mores and all the outdoor activities. The swings and creek bed were a hit. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and the propane grill outside was easy to use for grilling. Would recommend and definitely stay again next time in the area.

The property is very nicely remodeled. All the amenities. Close to local shopping and tourist attractions. Only downside for us is we live in a busy noisy location and prefer something more secluded.. The farmhouse is between a major highway and an entrance to a subdivision. Lots of traffic noise when outside. We still had a nice stay and the owners are very thoughtful. Offered to let us stay longer if needed due to some bad weather.

Enjoyed the stay, house was very clean. Unable to turn on back porch lights. Might have been us. Yard needed mowing to me, wife said no big deal to her. We would still recommend and return. Close to downtown, stores and state park attractions. Son and wife loved it too.

The house was so cute and we loved the huge property and all the activities for the kids. Every detail was taken care of even down to having seasonal decorations. The yard and house was so well taken care of. I didn't realize it was so close to a major road with some traffic noise, but otherwise perfect!

We stayed here so we could be close to Dinosaur Valley Park for the Mammoth March. It was a perfect little house sitting on a good sized property. It’s in a neighborhood close to all restaurants in Glen Rose. Both bedrooms have king sized beds and their own bathroom. One bathroom has a connecting outside shower, it was great to use since it was cold outside and the water was hot. The house had everything we needed and it was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

We cooked all of our meals for the weekend, and the kitchen supplies and appliances in the house were awesome. The rooms were so spacious and the decor was adorable - it was even nicer than it looks online. The 12 minute drive to Dinosaur Valley State Park was a great day excursion.

This was the perfect property for our fun little getaway with our 5 year old granddaughter. We had so much fun & she absolutely loved everything about Live Oak Landing. The 3 tree swings, outdoor games, soaker pool, hot dogs & smores cooked on the firepit, walking in the creek, king bed & outdoor shower in her room, as well as plenty of room to run & play to name just a few. It's also located just around the corner from all the area attractions including Dinosaur Valley State Park. Memories made & we cant wait to return!

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this property is. Our young kids had such a wonderful time playing in the plunge pool, swinging under the gorgeous old trees, and splashing around in the creek. You feel like you’re pretty secluded but are actually just down the street from the town square. The house was also great. The outside shower is a cool feature. Great stay, great host.

We were two couples, so the two ensuite King bedrooms were perfect. The house is adorable with everything you could need for cooking and the property on the river is gorgeous! We enjoyed walking in the area, made a campfire in the fire pit, used the barbeque grill, and played with the games in the lush backyard.There was great seating in the backyard.The area was quiet, but still walking distance to town. The town of Glen Rose is adorable, with cute shops and friendly people. There was live music in town at Massi's. The park on the Paluxy River down the road was a lovely place to walk and obviously a great place for kids to play in the water. We LOVED the outdoor shower! With double shower heads, it was a total bonus, even on the day that it was cooler out. The beds were comfy! We can't say enough about our totally wonderful stay in Glen Rose

This was a lovely farmhouse with a well-equipped kitchen, charming decor, and thoughtful extras. The beds were very comfortable. The back porch was soooo relaxing. Fun table and connect 4 area in the backyard plus seating area down by the creek. The outdoor shower was lots of fun and easy to use. Just a lovely place to stay!

Nice property with just about everything you could need for a small family. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was well equipped, right down to skewers for s’mores and firewood for the fire pit. There is a Dollar General within walking distance.

We really enjoyed our weekend away in Glen Rose! Kids and dogs enjoyed roaming the huge property and playing in the creek. We spent a lot of time just hanging out on the deck, playing yard games, and roasting s’mores. Everything was very clean and well-stocked and exactly as described. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Everything was great! There was all the amenities needed even down to the simple things for young kids such as colorful plates, bowls, and cups. The outdoor games and activities made it that much better as we spend as much time outdoors as possible. The whole family felt right at home and truly enjoyed the house and the property! Would definitely recommend and stay here again if we make it back to Glenn Rose!

This is the second year in a row that we've enjoyed this home during the early spring in Glen Rose. The property has something for everyone. We have 4 kids ranging 2-13 and we always have a blast! The creek and waterfall is fun for everyone. The kitchen has everything that you need and the house is close to a few grocery stores. It's the the perfect basecamp for family adventure. Also, love the outside shower after a run by the big rock state park. We'll be back for many years!

Perfect for our 2 dogs, very clean spaces, loved the large yard and secure fences! We felt super cozy during our stay. Our hosts were easily accessible and communicated very well. Close to everything - food, fossil rim, dinosaur valley, Paluxy River. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

This home is perfect in every way! Well stocked for a weekend stay if you want to cook or close to any where you might want to go out for a bite. Beautiful inside and out, the property has a well maintained yard, a lovely back porch, and the most perfect fire pit area. Cozy bedrooms, clean bathrooms, and the large tub was a lifesaver after our Mammoth March!We will definitely be booking again for any and all trips to the area, but especially for next years Mammoth March!
