This is the perfect property for a large group. We had 14 adults and 9 kids 7 and under and we fit comfortably. The glass back wall provided an amazing view out over the pool, lawns, playground and volleyball court so you always had a good idea where everyone was. The kids ran themselves ragged. The boat ramp and jetty were great for launching our tinnies and the indoor pool was great for the kids during the day and the adults to relax in after dinner. Our stay was absolutely perfect and Kym was the best host we have ever experienced. 10/10 would recomend and we will definitely be booking again.

Very impressed with the space of this property. With 25 staying, 5 people in caravans, the property requires a ‘communal toilet/shower’ as every bathroom was attached to a bedroom. Plenty of carpark spaces. Boat ramp is high tide only ramp. Limited ability to fish in the boat due to sand/mud bars requiring high tide. A few minor maintenance issues requiring attention (leaking rainwater pipes, toilet roll holders falling off, water leak under house?septic) Kids were self amused with playground, pools, volleyball court. Fire pit was a hit after hours. Main kitchen was great for quantity of people and had every appliance and cutlery/crockery needed for massive group. Planning our next trip, but will limit to people in room and no extra.

15 mates spent 2 nights had a fantastic time fishing and the use of other facilities beach volley , cricket, swimming pool and relaxing around the fire pit of a night time. The house was immaculate clean and tidy everything you need for holiday away from home.

Title says it all. Our host Kym was amazing, contactable, nothing was a problem in fact Kym left a beautiful gifts for both my husband and myself as we were celebrating milestone birthdays with our family. Our stay felt comfortable they had everything there that you could think of, it was very spacious and you could always find somewhere to sit and have a quiet cuppa and read a book. Kids were busy playing, swimming or fishing. We didn’t even feel the need to go anywhere as we had everything there. Great fishing and crabbing as we cooked up a storm on the last night the seafood was so tasty and fresh. Could not fault this place, worth every penny. We all want to come back again and stay. Great property and facilities with heaps of space. Absolutely loved the 'Home away from Home' box and all the extra kitchen utensils and appliances. However, very down and UNSAFE black mould health concerns. Quite warm weather and no working ducted Air con. There were small units throughout, but filthy and full of mould so not fully functional and unsafe. Mould was extreme!!!. EVERY room and bathroom was covered with black mould. Mould also on the curtains and furniture throughout etc not safe to stay. Also lots of broken items laying around and vegetation rubbish throughout the yard and playground area. Littlest things matter eg. Broken furniture, broken garden pots with dead plants, blown bulbs,1 pool cue available & 1 broken, rubbish in couch cushions, pool filter full and broken, pool dirty, split foam cushions around spa full of water and tripping hazard, screws lose on desks and door handles broken or latches missings so kids got stuck. Bbq fat all over the ground on desk. BBQ gas and water tanks empty (house on tank water) but was rectified quickly by Kym and George (caretaker). If these were rectified, would be 5 star. But mould is not safe and very dangerous. The amount we paid for a few nights so expected somewhere not run down and certainly not with mould everywhere. Have alot of photos for feedback for Kym host, if interested as we understand the property has not been viewed by the host for 6 months or so and hate negative feedback, but i would like to know.

We cannot rate our stay highly enough. The home and the care that goes into it is outstanding. It is even better in real life. Our group had a fantastic time and enjoyed all the facilities from the indoor spa to the adventure playground. There was something for everyone. We will definately be back. Thank you 🙂

The house was very clean when we arrived, no problems checking in, rooms were extremely generous in size, plenty of bathrooms and kitchen equipment. Property was ideal for our family of 17, Grandparents, children and grandchildren, still felt spacious despite the numbers. Fantastic location if you’re into fishing and boating. Our boat was tied up at the jetty for the duration of our stay. Kym (host) was very responsive and helpful. The only negative was that the outside of the property(decks, pool equipment etc) is in need of a little bit of maintenance however, this didn’t impact on the enjoyment of our stay. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor pools.

Just spent my 60th birthday weekend at this property (aptly named ‘the Mansion’ by my grandsons!) with my family and friends. Amazing from start to finish, I can honestly say that we have not stayed in a cleaner, more organised and stocked holiday home. Location is incredible and the facilities perfect for our gathering of adults and children alike. Kym the property manager is incredible, efficient and on the ball, she serviced our needs immediately and professionally. Added to this some very thoughtful birthday surprises and, suffice to say, we will return.

Absolutely sensational, 2 boats broke down before we even got there but the property had everything we needed to keep us entertained. The hosts were fabulous and the house decked out with extras we didn’t expect. Will definitely be back again 💯

Where to start, pulling up at the end of the driveway and getting out of the cars the first thing I noticed was all the ladies pulling out their phones taking photos of what we were all seeing. We hadn’t even walked a foot inside and were in love. When we went through the front door we had to pick our jaw off the ground. Grounds were beautiful and the house was spotless, we take our hats off to the cleaners, would be a massive job just with the windows alone. Everything is in the house from fully stocked kitchen, laundry, all linen including pool towels, games and even a camp oven and a marker pen to put your name on a drink bottle. About us, we had a girls trip and with this beautiful house no one had to share a bed with all the beds available, the trundles are still full innerspring mattress. There is no negatives, just advise, no toilet in the house other then in the bedrooms was a little difficult when people you sharing with are sleeping in. Also found the water pressure in the showers was not strong, just ran the hot water tap with no cold and pressure was weak but we understand the house is on rainwater. We will definitely be booking this beautiful house for our trip next year, we will be bringing the JetSki next time and also try to have a game off cricket and beach volleyball as we ran out of time this trip with so many other activities.

I was reluctant to give a review on this property … I don’t want to give away the secret - this place is epic! The property is clean and presentable. The host has thought of everything from smart tvs and gaming systems, pool toys and sporting equipment to an incredibly impressive kitted out kitchen with all the small appliances you could ever want and more. The host was available when we had questions and didn’t hesitate to help where she could with our extra requests. A++ for service. We had a lovely time celebrating a milestone birthday and this property gave us the flexibility to enjoy time together, but also have the space to spread out. We are already looking for dates to do it all again.

We hadn’t even walked a foot inside and were in love. When we went through the front door we had to pick our jaw off the ground. Grounds were beautiful and the house was spotless, we take our hats off to the cleaners, would be a massive job just with the windows alone. Everything is in the house from fully stocked kitchen, laundry, all linen including pool towels, games and even a camp oven and a marker pen to put your name on a drink bottle. About us, we had a girls trip and with this beautiful house no one had to share a bed with all the beds available, the trundles are still full innerspring mattress. There is no negatives, just advise, no toilet in the house other then in the bedrooms was a little difficult when people you sharing with are sleeping in. Also found the water pressure in the showers was not strong, just ran the hot water tap with no cold and pressure was weak but we understand the house is on rainwater. We will definitely be booking this beautiful house for our trip next year, we will be bringing the JetSki next time and also try to have a game off cricket and beach volleyball as we ran out of time this trip with so many other activities.

This is the perfect property for a large group. We had 14 adults and 9 kids 7 and under and we fit comfortably. The glass back wall provided an amazing view out over the pool, lawns, playground and volleyball court so you always had a good idea where everyone was. The kids ran themselves ragged. The boat ramp and jetty were great for launching our tinnies and the indoor pool was great for the kids during the day and the adults to relax in after dinner. Our stay was absolutely perfect and Kym was the best host we have ever experienced. 10/10 would recomend and we will definitely be booking again.

We had a great time with excellent use of the plunge pool and different entertaining areas. When it says basic staples, this is the understatement as there was some much more than we expected. When you read about the midges and needing insect repellent it really is true. We also found water pressure in showers was seriously lacking due to the rain water system. Was probably the only let down. Everything else was great.

Relaxing stay with family from UK. Not too far from hervey bay and Bundaberg to do all the tours. Enough space at house to chill, fish, swim and play cars. Exceptionally well stocked kitchen. Definitely recommend

Very impressed with the space of this property. With 25 staying, 5 people in caravans, the property requires a ‘communal toilet/shower’ as every bathroom was attached to a bedroom. Plenty of carpark spaces. Boat ramp is high tide only ramp. Limited ability to fish in the boat due to sand/mud bars requiring high tide. A few minor maintenance issues requiring attention (leaking rainwater pipes, toilet roll holders falling off, water leak under house?septic) Kids were self amused with playground, pools, volleyball court. Fire pit was a hit after hours. Main kitchen was great for quantity of people and had every appliance and cutlery/crockery needed for massive group. The only negative was that the outside of the property(decks, pool equipment etc) is in need of a little bit of maintenance however, this didn’t impact on the enjoyment of our stay. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor pools.

From the very outset this was a seamless booking and holiday experience. Communication with the hostess was simple and any enquiries were quickly responded to. Wow, just Wow. This property lives up to the description, and the owner Kym is just lovely to deal with. We booked this for a family holiday and we all loved it. The kids had so much to do, and the adults were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful outlook. We will be back again. Do yourself a favor and book this property for your next trip.

Our host Kym was amazing, contactable, nothing was a problem in fact Kym left a beautiful gifts for both my husband and myself as we were celebrating milestone birthdays with our family. Our stay felt comfortable they had everything there that you could think of, it was very spacious and you could always find somewhere to sit and have a quiet cuppa and read a book. Kids were busy playing, swimming or fishing. We didn’t even feel the need to go anywhere as we had everything there. Great fishing and crabbing as we cooked up a storm on the last night the seafood was so tasty and fresh. Could not fault this place, worth every penny. We all want to come back again and stay. Great property and facilities with heaps of space. Absolutely loved the 'Home away from Home' box and all the extra kitchen utensils and appliances. However, very down and UNSAFE black mould health concerns. Quite warm weather and no working ducted Air con. There were small units throughout, but filthy and full of mould so not fully functional and unsafe. Mould was extreme!!!. EVERY room and bathroom was covered with black mould. Mould also on the curtains and furniture throughout etc not safe to stay. Also lots of broken items laying around and vegetation rubbish throughout the yard and playground area. Littlest things matter eg. Broken furniture, broken garden pots with dead plants, blown bulbs,1 pool cue available & 1 broken, rubbish in couch cushions, pool filter full and broken, pool dirty, split foam cushions around spa full of water and tripping hazard, screws lose on desks and door handles broken or latches missings so kids got stuck. Bbq fat all over the ground on desk. BBQ gas and water tanks empty (house on tank water) but was rectified quickly by Kym and George (caretaker). If these were rectified, would be 5 star. But mould is not safe and very dangerous. The amount we paid for a few nights so expected somewhere not run down and certainly not with mould everywhere. Have alot of photos for feedback for Kym host, if interested as we understand the property has not been viewed by the host for 6 months or so and hate negative feedback, but i would like to know.

Just spent my 60th birthday weekend at this property (aptly named ‘the Mansion’ by my grandsons!) with my family and friends. Amazing from start to finish, I can honestly say that we have not stayed in a cleaner, more organised and stocked holiday home. Location is incredible and the facilities perfect for our gathering of adults and children alike. Kym the property manager is incredible, efficient and on the ball, she serviced our needs immediately and professionally. Added to this some very thoughtful birthday surprises and, suffice to say, we will return.

Our group had a wonderful time at Peace of Heaven. It was the perfect location to switch off, unwind, relax by the pool and fish! The house was stocked with all of the essentials, the host was fantastic and the location was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone to run around or escape to a quiet place and read. Perfect location for a getaway and to celebrate my daughter's 21st. The house was amazing, and we caught mudcrabs off the pontoon. There was something for everyone to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The best place to relax and unwind.

Our group had a wonderful time at Peace of Heaven. It was the perfect location to switch off, unwind, relax by the pool and fish! The house was stocked with all of the essentials, the host was fantastic and the location was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone to run around or escape to a quiet place and read. Thanks for hosting us :)

Where to start, pulling up at the end of the driveway and getting out of the cars the first thing I noticed was all the ladies pulling out their phones taking photos of what we were all seeing. We hadn’t even walked a foot inside and were in love. When we went through the front door we had to pick our jaw off the ground. Grounds were beautiful and the house was spotless, we take our hats off to the cleaners, would be a massive job just with the windows alone. Everything is in the house from fully stocked kitchen, laundry, all linen including pool towels, games and even a camp oven and a marker pen to put your name on a drink bottle. About us, we had a girls trip and with this beautiful house no one had to share a bed with all the beds available, the trundles are still full innerspring mattress. There is no negatives, just advise, no toilet in the house other then in the bedrooms was a little difficult when people you sharing with are sleeping in. Also found the water pressure in the showers was not strong, just ran the hot water tap with no cold and pressure was weak but we understand the house is on rainwater. We will definitely be booking this beautiful house for our trip next year, we will be bringing the JetSki next time and also try to have a game off cricket and beach volleyball as we ran out of time this trip with so many other activities.

Relaxing stay with family from UK. Not too far from hervey bay and Bundaberg to do all the tours. Enough space at house to chill, fish, swim and play cars. Exceptionally well stocked kitchen. Definitely recommend

Very impressed with the space of this property. With 25 staying, 5 people in caravans, the property requires a ‘communal toilet/shower’ as every bathroom was attached to a bedroom. Plenty of carpark spaces. Boat ramp is high tide only ramp. Limited ability to fish in the boat due to sand/mud bars requiring high tide. A few minor maintenance issues requiring attention (leaking rainwater pipes, toilet roll holders falling off, water leak under house?septic) Kids were self amused with playground, pools, volleyball court. Fire pit was a hit after hours. Main kitchen was great for quantity of people and had every appliance and cutlery/crockery needed for massive group. Planning our next trip, but will limit to people in room and no extra.

Title says it all. Our host Kym was amazing, contactable, nothing was a problem in fact Kym left a beautiful gifts for both my husband and myself as we were celebrating milestone birthdays with our family. Our stay felt comfortable they had everything there that you could think of, it was very spacious and you could always find somewhere to sit and have a quiet cuppa and read a book. Kids were busy playing, swimming or fishing. We didn’t even feel the need to go anywhere as we had everything there. Great fishing and crabbing as we cooked up a storm on the last night the seafood was so tasty and fresh. Could not fault this place, worth every penny. We all want to come back again and stay. The house was very clean when we arrived, no problems checking in, rooms were extremely generous in size, plenty of bathrooms and kitchen equipment. Property was ideal for our family of 17, Grandparents, children and grandchildren, still felt spacious despite the numbers. Fantastic location if you’re into fishing and boating. Our boat was tied up at the jetty for the duration of our stay. Kym (host) was very responsive and helpful. The only negative was that the outside of the property(decks, pool equipment etc) is in need of a little bit of maintenance however, this didn’t impact on the enjoyment of our stay. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor pools.

Just spent my 60th birthday weekend at this property (aptly named ‘the Mansion’ by my grandsons!) with my family and friends. Amazing from start to finish, I can honestly say that we have not stayed in a cleaner, more organised and stocked holiday home. Location is incredible and the facilities perfect for our gathering of adults and children alike. Kym the property manager is incredible, efficient and on the ball, she serviced our needs immediately and professionally. Added to this some very thoughtful birthday surprises and, suffice to say, we will return.

I was reluctant to give a review on this property … I don’t want to give away the secret - this place is epic! The property is clean and presentable. The host has thought of everything from smart tvs and gaming systems, pool toys and sporting equipment to an incredibly impressive kitted out kitchen with all the small appliances you could ever want and more. The host was available when we had questions and didn’t hesitate to help where she could with our extra requests. A++ for service. We had a lovely time celebrating a milestone birthday and this property gave us the flexibility to enjoy time together, but also have the space to spread out. We are already looking for dates to do it all again.

Great property and facilities with heaps of space. Absolutely loved the 'Home away from Home' box and all the extra kitchen utensils and appliances. However, very down and UNSAFE black mould health concerns. Quite warm weather and no working ducted Air con. There were small units throughout, but filthy and full of mould so not fully functional and unsafe. Mould was extreme!!!. EVERY room and bathroom was covered with black mould. Mould also on the curtains and furniture throughout etc not safe to stay. Also lots of broken items laying around and vegetation rubbish throughout the yard and playground area. Littlest things matter eg. Broken furniture, broken garden pots with dead plants, blown bulbs,1 pool cue available & 1 broken, rubbish in couch cushions, pool filter full and broken, pool dirty, split foam cushions around spa full of water and tripping hazard, screws lose on desks and door handles broken or latches missings so kids got stuck. Bbq fat all over the ground on desk. BBQ gas and water tanks empty (house on tank water) but was rectified quickly by Kym and George (caretaker). If these were rectified, would be 5 star. But mould is not safe and very dangerous. The amount we paid for a few nights so expected somewhere not run down and certainly not with mould everywhere. Have alot of photos for feedback for Kym host, if interested as we understand the property has not been viewed by the host for 6 months or so and hate negative feedback, but i would like to know.
