Not much needs to be said about Skipper Tom’s because it was just so fantastic. The house is gorgeous and we especially liked the lovely and very comfortable living room. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and well laid out, and the large bedrooms were excellent in all regards, including the spacious ensuites. The wrap-around patio was a bonus feature that you never see. And the location was amazing, right on the water and walking distance to the dinner theatre, restaurants and pubs. This was the first true out of ten that we’ve ever stayed in.

We were 2 couples who spent 2 nights at Skipper Tom’s. Great location. Perfect spot in town with a beautiful view, right across from the water, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house was as described. Comfortable beds, porch to enjoy the view, a lovely spot in Twillingate.

Our stay at Skipper times vacation home was absolutely amazing! From the easy check-in to the clean and well stock kitchen, from the awesome views to the thoughtful special touches, such as lots of books to read, a TV and each bedroom, the soaker tub! I can't say enough about it! They even had a landline which could be a selling feature for this home! Cell phone service is very limited. However, having the landline made communication much better! This place comes highly recommended!

The house was central to all the excursions, hiking and things we wanted to do. It had a great view. If you have trouble with stairs this might not be the place for you but otherwise everything was great. We highly recommend this house.

Large quiet property with a well equipped kitchen. Two large bedrooms with en-suite baths and excellent hot showers. We had two really good nights sleeping on a fantastic mattress. We appreciated the washer /dryer and laundry soap after a week of travel. We walked to the dinner theatre and drove to the Anchor Inn pub to get screeched in. Great fun on a zodiac to see an iceberg calve and turn over!

The accommodation of Skipper Tom’s is as described, and delightful - and right up until our check out morning - our stay was entirely pleasant (be aware of doors however, when a visiting cat drops by, apparently it likes to visit!).Skipper Tom’s location is recommended as a base to explore Twillingate. The house is well-appointed with all you would need (with the exception of kitchen scissors!), the rooms are spacious and comfortable and pretty. The 2 ensuites are a true plus. On check out day - the 10am check out time was a bit of an affront to start with, but respecting that was the limit, we planned the morning to be sure we were out on time. And to that end, did all our packing and fridge cleaning and garbage collection so that at 9:30, we could have our morning coffee on the porch taking in the lovely view of the ocean before we parted. Instead, when we walked out to deposit the garage at 9:30 - we found the cleaner sitting in the parking spot waiting for us to leave.Some might have ignored that, but we good not now, sit and relax with our while being in the sight line of someone in a car. It was a very disappointing end to an otherwise lovely stay.

The ocean views from wrap around porch and in all rooms of the home are the best you can ask for. What a way to enjoy your cup of coffe in the morning and a glass of wine at night. Wow! Loved every second there!! Walking proximity to all shops is a major plus! Thank you Marie for giving people the opportunity to experience this tranquility in such a Devine place

Absolutely loved this property. It is in a great location with a beautiful view of the water. Each of the 2 large bedrooms has an ensuite which was great. The wrap around deck was nice and a lively place to enjoy your breakfast on a Sunday morning. I wish we were there for more than just 2 nights.

Skipper Tom's was a breath of fresh air! I loved sitting on the veranda and watching the boats go by and the ocean waves crashing against the shore line. the scenery is beautiful ! the house - immaculate, serene and inviting a nice surprise ... fresh baked bread waited for us !!!! also .. there was coffee, tea and other thoughtful items. highly recommend Skipper Tom's

We stayed for a week early August and absolutely loved the place and location. The house itself is adorable and retaining its historical charm with modern amenities. Spotlessly clean, spacious, very comfortable (especially the beds)! We felt right at home, and especially loved the daily visits from the neighbourhood cat Taz - what a doll! Close to the water and several hiking trails - we did a trail everyday. Did a whale watching boat tour (Ocean Quest), browsed local shops, visited Fargo Island and enjoyed a birthday dinner at Georgie’s. Wonderful vacation and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!!

We had a lovely stay at Skipper Tom’s. The house was very clean and comfortable. The freshly baked muffins that were there when we arrived were a nice treat! We also appreciated having coffee provided for the week as well. No complaints whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone vacationing in Twillingate.

House and location amazing! You could walk to much of what you required.....and nice to just get out and walk around and see some sights.....The home is so comfortable! Really well done, and cozy! Really nice house- very cozy and well appointed. Bathrooms and bedrooms were great. Kitchen was well stocked and very functional. We loved the location. No complaints- only good things to say. Charming town with friendly people. We went to the dinner theater on our last night - really fun and entertaining. The owners were very good with communication and telling us to contact that for anything. Such a warm homey feeling to the house. Thank you

We loved this property and our stay. Especially the welcoming added touches like the bread. The rooms were well appointed and bedroom ensuites more than you would expect. The hosts were in touch and available when needed addressing our questions in a timely manner. The house was amazingly cool because of a large number of windows for airflow. It was a wonderful splurge for our 25 wedding anniversary trip.

The accommodation of Skipper Tom’s is as described, and delightful - and right up until our check out morning - our stay was entirely pleasant (be aware of doors however, when a visiting cat drops by, apparently it likes to visit!).Skipper Tom’s location is recommended as a base to explore Twillingate. The house is well-appointed with all you would need (with the exception of kitchen scissors!), the rooms are spacious and comfortable and pretty. The 2 ensuites are a true plus. On check out day - the 10am check out time was a bit of an affront to start with, but respecting that was the limit, we planned the morning to be sure we were out on time. And to that end, did all our packing and fridge cleaning and garbage collection so that at 9:30, we could have our morning coffee on the porch taking in the lovely view of the ocean before we parted. Instead, when we walked out to deposit the garage at 9:30 - we found the cleaner sitting in the parking spot waiting for us to leave.Some might have ignored that, but we good not now, sit and relax with our while being in the sight line of someone in a car. It was a very disappointing end to an otherwise lovely stay.

Stayed a couple of nights in this very well equipped and comfortable house. Great central location in Twillongate with lovely views across to the water. Quiet and perfect for two couples with large bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom. Hosts were very helpful as well.

Not much needs to be said about Skipper Tom’s because it was just so fantastic. The house is gorgeous and we especially liked the lovely and very comfortable living room. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and well laid out, and the large bedrooms were excellent in all regards, including the spacious ensuites. The wrap-around patio was a bonus feature that you never see. And the location was amazing, right on the water and walking distance to the dinner theatre, restaurants and pubs. This was the first true out of ten that we’ve ever stayed in.

We were 2 couples who spent 2 nights at Skipper Tom’s. Great location. Perfect spot in town with a beautiful view, right across from the water, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house was as described. Comfortable beds, porch to enjoy the view, a lovely spot in Twillingate.

Really nice house- very cozy and well appointed. Bathrooms and bedrooms were great. Kitchen was well stocked and very functional. We loved the location. No complaints- only good things to say. Charming town with friendly people. We went to the dinner theater on our last night - really fun and entertaining. The owners were very good with communication and telling us to contact that for anything. Such a warm homey feeling to the house. Thank you

Large quiet property with a well equipped kitchen. Two large bedrooms with en-suite baths and excellent hot showers. We had two really good nights sleeping on a fantastic mattress. We appreciated the washer /dryer and laundry soap after a week of travel. We walked to the dinner theatre and drove to the Anchor Inn pub to get screeched in. Great fun on a zodiac to see an iceberg calve and turn over!

Absolutely loved this property. It is in a great location with a beautiful view of the water. Each of the 2 large bedrooms has an ensuite which was great. The wrap around deck was nice and a lively place to enjoy your breakfast on a Sunday morning. I wish we were there for more than just 2 nights.

The only suggestion I have is that the kitchen exhaust fan needs to be vented to the exterior. Cooking smells occasionally permeated the interior.

Our stay at Skipper times vacation home was absolutely amazing! From the easy check-in to the clean and well stock kitchen, from the awesome views to the thoughtful special touches, such as lots of books to read, a TV and each bedroom, the soaker tub! I can't say enough about it! They even had a landline which could be a selling feature for this home! Cell phone service is very limited. However, having the landline made communication much better! This place comes highly recommended!

We loved this property and our stay. Especially the welcoming added touches like the bread. The rooms were well appointed and bedroom ensuites more than you would expect. The hosts were in touch and available when needed addressing our questions in a timely manner. The house was amazingly cool because of a large number of windows for airflow. It was a wonderful splurge for our 25 wedding anniversary trip.

We had a lovely stay at Skipper Tom’s. The house was very clean and comfortable. The freshly baked muffins that were there when we arrived were a nice treat! We also appreciated having coffee provided for the week as well. No complaints whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone vacationing in Twillingate.

I loved sitting on the veranda and watching the boats go by and the ocean waves crashing against the shore line. the scenery is beautiful ! the house - immaculate, serene and inviting a nice surprise ... fresh baked bread waited for us !!!! also .. there was coffee, tea and other thoughtful items. highly recommend Skipper Tom's

Skipper Toms is absolutely a gem. This had exceeded our expectations. It was warm, clean, beautifully decorated, 3 washrooms, comfortable beds and the view from any window was amazing. I would come back and stay at Skipper Toms in a heart beat.
